This is definitely a must do when visiting Cobh. Ideally you want a sunny dry day but if you dress for it it's still good with typical Irish weather.

Friendly, helpful staff, they kit you out with safety gear & ponchos if its raining. Tours lasts approx an hour around the harbour, kids can drive the boat too! Highly recommended!

Joy for kids! Great professionals give you a flavour of driving a boat in harbour with a quick introduction… Mixed with fantastic weather it’s definitely worth a go around the Spike island, but bear in mind you’re only allowed to follow the safety team.

This was great fun and very good value. Staff were great. The guy guiding in the main boat was very good, giving all boats plenty freedom and time to explore the harbour area. The trip took roughly 1 hour and covered a vast area, taking us round Spike Island and back to Cobh passing by Rocky Island and Haulbowline. Well worth it and great for kids also, as they allow kids to take control of the boat. 👍🏻

10 of us had the pleasure and thrill of going on the high speed rib. It was truly amazing. Richard the owner of Cork Harbour Boat Hire was our skipper and we learnt so much aswell about the different forts in the harbour. We saw hundreds of jelly fish but t he most thing was seeing all the Dolphins. Would highly recommend this trip out the Harbour. Thank You so much for an amazing experience. Mary Walsh and family

What can I say, yet again I had another fabulous family trip out with these guys. An absolute fun filled hour out in the boats for the kids and adults as we all had smiles and laughter from start to finish. One of the staff members apologised for the bad weather but trust me part of the fun is getting out and enjoying the day no matter what the weather is, if anything it actually adds to the fun and laughter. This is my 4th time doing the trip in Cobh and I will definitely be back again, keep up the great work guys and well done for fantastic memories. Darragh

Had a fun spin out around the harbour with the kids, the weather was a bit sketchy but wet gear was provided and it didn’t really bother us. I’d highly recommend this if you’re visiting Cobh.

Just want to say myself and my wife went on the thrill ride yesterday, Sunday the 18th. We had an absolute ball. To call it a thrill ride is an understatement, this was excellent, I couldn't recommend it enough. We've often used the self drive boats with our kids who are too small for the thrill ride. Richard and the team offer a great amenity at a excellent rate. It was only 25 euros a head for us, it was worth multiples of that, we didn't want it to end. It really was top top class.
