We had such a fun date here! We played pool and went down into barcadia and played retro arcade games. A really well thought out complex, with ample staff, a good menu and reasonable prices. Pool was €16 for an hour, and although it was busy it didn't feel crowded. There is bowling, pool, ping pong, arcade games as well as various bar areas and restaurant facilities.

Excellent bar and entertainment venue. Second to none for sports, events, pool, bowling and arcade games. A great place to visit if you are traveling to Cork and want a place to relax in a casual setting with good music and vibes.

We were there as part of a work party, played pool, bowling and Casino, all good fun. The finger food served was very good too. The toilets (by the bowling area) are a disgrace though, there was a few mm of water (or something else) in the floor and cubicle lock was broken. This needs to be addressed! Not fair to supply such bad facilities to paying customers!

Lovely complex of entertainments, you can find a good variety of pub types, foods, they have bowling, pool, billiards, watching various sports etc. Friendly staff, and you can reserve table(s) as well. Covered smoking terrace on top floor, good security services as well. I can strongly recommend

It's a really fun place for smaller as well as larger groups. You can do all sorts of different activities such as pool or karaoke or pingpong and there is even a smoker area. In terms of drinks, you can get a variety of beers and cocktails as well as the usual selection of nonalcoholic drinks. The music is fairly loud though, so as it gets crowded, following a conversation gets harder. Supposedly, the food is pretty good as well. Unfortunately, the kitchen closes fairly early (around 10 I think) so I haven't been able to see for myself.

Hands down the best spot to hit in Cork City! Bowling lanes, a pool hall with full sized tables, snooker, ping ping, foosball, the sickest arcade you ever did see, beer garden, several bars including Cork's best international sports bar, an award winning restaurant, live screenings, a weekly comedy club, craft beers, cocktails, private karaoke pods and some of soundest staff around....all under one roof. If you're looking for an all round fantastic night full of good fun and great food get down to the Mardyke!

Best place I’ve been to in Ireland for “activities” whilst having some drinks. Loses a star for food being pretty basic and pizza is out of a box for sure. The pool, arcade, bowling, table tennis and more all make for a really fun night especially for a group.

I have regularly attended the Mardyke Entertainment Complex with college friends for the last year or so to avail of the services there and have never had a issue there. They have several bowling lanes of high quality, an array of pool tables and 3-4 snookers tables, and several table tennis tables on the premises they you can use for a hour or two at a reasonable price. They have a bar serving drink and hot food (depending on time for the food) on site and is also home to Cork's best smoking area. A heated and decked out smoking area with different seating/table arrangements and has 3 different television screens in the smoking area showing different live sports.

If they would clean their pipes (in all 3-4 bars in there, everyone is just as bad) regularly I would spend far more money in there! There is enough profit being made in there for the pipes to be cleaned more often from what I can tell. Copper penny pints no matter what time of the week, month or year you go in there and ive been going there for years, disgusting Clean them the damn pipes so I can just enjoy a pint in there for once, I beg of ye

Great beer selection, American pool tables, and delicious food. What's not to like? The complex has several different bars and restaurants. For beer, the Woolshed is best. For food, probably the Holy Smoke. But Barcadia has a special place in my heart, mixing arcade games, pinball, beer and burgers.

Great place, great fun if you're coming with a bunch of friends or for a family gathering. The bowling and pool would be my favorites. Note though that it is a very dark place, not much windows, I recommend evenings as a result.

The Mardyke is everything a full time entertainment complex is supposed to be - reliable, well priced, clean, and operated by friendly staff. I've attended the Mardyke many times now, almost exclusively for group activities that I've organised. Each time I've left my evening impressed by the quality of service throughout. From the initial email or call enquiring on price and availability, to finalising the payment or invoice, Mardyke are both clear and polite in their communication. So why else do I keep going back? Their core offering of course. Amazing bars with a wide selection of drinks. A huge variety of food to cater to all tastes. Plenty of pool, snooker and table tennis tables. Outdoor areas for the smokers in the group. Private karaoke booths. Bowling. Price. Overall I can highly recommend the Mardyke and its wonderful staff.

The big screen and the seat positioned with inclination like in a stadium gives you a sensation that you are close to players. Moreover, they also have good food and beer. Arrive early in big events!!!

Facilities and activities wise, the best pub in Cork. I'm taking a star off though for the crazy pool prices. 15 euro for an hour on a pool table, crazy 🤨

Our HQ during the month we spent in Cork, lots of pool tables and some Ping Pong, bowling a little expensive, but beers between 4 and 6 euros.

Interesting place of conviviality, located on the upper floor, with a tangle of vast and long rooms dedicated to the restaurant, the bar, and snooker, in particular. But not only... And a great covered roof terrace. Nice evening with colleagues for the CAN 2019 final. ⚽️🙈🍾🎉
