Lovely winter walk ! Great spot for the kids lots of animals to see and a nice enough playground! Count a good hour if not more..

Great place, lovely walk around the lake, kids enjoyed the playground. Nice few tables for picnics with lots of space. Lovely way to spend a few hours.

Great natural space to relax and unwind. There are shetland ponies, goats and alpacas for the children to feed as well as an adventure playground. Very nice picnic areas and a portaloo should you need to go. For €2 admission its a steal.

Lovely woodland walk around Talbot Lake. The kids loved exploring. They loved the fairy forest with the doors on the trees. They spent ages with the two small ponies near the house. There is also an old castle ruins on the grounds which we could see from a distance.

This is a lovely place for a pleasant walk, family picnic. Children will find a playground while walking around the lake. They might pass good few fairy's houses or stop at the cowboys camp. There are many animals there. Mostly horses and ponies. You might be lucky and meet a pet lamb or alpaca. The charge for using the grounds is €2 pp. If you want just chill, this is the good spot.

Lovely lake and walk, playground for the little ones,picnic benches, unspoilt area,beautiful old house ,walled garden, alpaca,donkey,ponies and horses. All in all a great place to spend a couple of hours. Only €5 per car , will return

Absolutely lovely little walk! Only 5€ a car as well with a little playground for kids near the beginning of the trail! Would recommend for something to do for an hour or 2!

Talbot Lake was great, we went there with our kids (18months, 4yr & 6yr) and they all enjoyed it. It was only €2 per person at the gate and they have a little shop to buy drinks and snacks. The trail around the lake was good fun and fine for pushing the pram. There are random places to stop and explore along the trail and the play park was well made also. Looking forward to going again and would highly recomend it to everyone.

Beautiful walk this morning in Talbot lake lovely picnic areas to enjoy your coffee while the kids can pet the animals staff are very friendly and welcoming also €2 entry fee is unbelievable! Will definitely be back when the sun is out highly recommended 😁😁

Great little walk and the cowboy campsites are great for kids with imagination. The playground is brilliant....and dont forget to visit the goats!

Had a great visit to Castle Talbot today with friends. I love it that they are keeping the lake natural, lovely walk round the lake. Picnic areas to sit and relax and a playground and small animals for the children. At E2 a visit, in an honesty box, it's well worth a visit

Nice place for a gentle stroll. Couple of times around the lake and walled gardens, say hello to the llama and then have a smashing cup of tea from the converted Caravan served by two of the friendliest shopgirls you will ever meet! Smashing.

Absolutely gorgeous place to go for a stroll and a picnic. Full of rustic charm. The highlight of the visit was chatting with the owner's son Johnny. Told us all about the house, the two resident dogs, who were so friendly and the great plans he has for the place. Lovely picnic area and little playground for the kids. Will definitely be back again.

Beautiful spot. We had a lovely walk around the lake. It's great to see the swans are nesting- we will be back to visit again and hopefully see some new cygnets! 🤞

Discovered this place on the way to Wexford town, and loved it. It’s a newly opened biodiverse lake and walkway which is letting nature lead the way in its development. Perfect for a stroll in nature to get away from it all without the crowds. A hidden gem ☺️

Beautiful walk, nature at its best ! Kiddies playground, swans, ponies and even an alpaca named Dereck !! Only €5 per car. Highly recommend visiting this wonderful place.

Very rustic walk around quite a large lake. Lake is very over grown with lilies and reeds and hard to see on the walk outwards, much better views of it on the way back, but watch your step!
