Galway Coach Station service its purpose. An indoor space to wait for your bus and well advertised bus stops. I haven't seen the parking, but there is usually somebody (during day hours) to help with questions/problems with the parking.

Bare minimum,shame with Galway getting European capital of culture 2020,let's the rest of Galway down,the coaches can't even pull out properly ad its too confined and definitely needs renovation/restoration-improving,bringing into the 21st century. Staff from Gobus are good like,there isn't even a cafe anymore which did take out. Be better if they knocked it down and rebuilt a better version more in line with the times

As someone who used his Eireann for years, switching to city link was the best decision I ever made. To stick on the topic of this building in particular, it's open, functional and modern. It's warm, quite and has plenty of clean seats to sit on while you wait and the outside bus terminal is partitioned with a glass wall and glass automatic doors so while you wait you can see exactly when your bus arrives and don't risk missing by not noticing when it arrived. This station absolutely obliterates the bus Eireann stations in Limerick, Galway and Ennis. Those stations are cold, damp, usually have pigeons casually walking around them and security guards who give you bad looks for just existing. Not to mention the buildings are historical and that isn't a good thing, sure it looks nice on the outside but the interior should be modernized, Galway Coach station has a huge advantage over the competition and that's that they use a modern building and don't dwell in these decrepit 200+ year old buildings that haven't seen an upgrade in said amount of time.

I have used this station many times and it has never let me down. There is a cafe for snacks and drinks that you can buy for a journey and there are clear timetables so you will not be confused. Sadly if you do require the bathroom there is a small fee but this goes towards the cleaning of the bathroom. (P.s. last time I was there I didn't have to pay so I am not sure if they removed the fee or are fixing the mechanism outside the bathroom to pay.)
