Everything was perfect, from being picked up from O'connors bar and brought to the pier for the lake tour which was absolutely stunning and our tour guide was lovely and funny too. Stopped at Lord Brandon's cottage where the food and tea are very reasonably priced and tasty. The jaunting car from the far side of the bridge, we had a 2man cart which was lovely to have to ourselves. Our driver was chatty and loads of information and a laugh. Our horse, chuck, was a big Teddy bear too. Stopped at the cottage for more tea and ice cream, brought home at 4pm with the old bus. Was an amazing day and will definitely be coming back next year!

Great experience! When we arrived at the pick up point we were greeted warmly, waited a bit and then a nice little bus brought us to the point where we left tlfor the boat trip. Great guide who was cracking jokes with us and really seemed to enjoy what he was doing. Wonderful walk after with great views and then picked up again on time to bring us back to our car. Great day and absolutely recommend for everyone visiting Kerry.

We booked this tour as we all had bikes with us in our trip to Killarney. Perfect foe four adults and four teens. All the bikes were liked into a small boat and off we went moving from lake to lake with our wonderful guide who was full of information l. The scenery was amazing. We did the trip from Ross castle to lord Brandon’s, stopped for lovely coffee there and then cycled the gap. The teens while unhappy with the thoughts of the climb in the bike were full on with the photos once they got to the top and were delighted that they had come along. The views were out of this world. A lovely cycle Down then to Kate Kearney’s cottage for more coffee amd then an easy cycle back to Killarney. I would highly recommend this tour. It is good value, fantastic guides - so accommodating and full of information and great fun. Put it on your to do list. Five stars from our gang - we’ll be back!

I take the bike + boat tour. Everything was perfect. The captain of the boat was a really nice guide. It was my favourite day and experience in Ireland. If you enjoy nature, you can’t skip this tour. I really complete day, with action, peaceful, nature, animals, foooood. The Gap of Dunloe is one of the best place I ever seen.

We took the booked bus to the Gap of Dunloe, walked the way to the start of the boat trip (little over 2 hours) and took the boat to Ross Castle. The bus goes back to the town but we walked instead (half an hour). Was very well organized. The guides on the boat and the bus were funny informative and it is definitely worth a visit.

Although the day was overcast and damp it was still a wonderful experience. Beautiful scenery boating through the 3 lakes and the wilderness of the park. Big thanks to Tim our boatman who was informative and funny. We done the walk through the gap, not too strenuous and again very enjoyable, amazing scenery. The walk marred somewhat by having to stand in to allow cars pass. Think tourist cars should be banned with some sort of pass system allowed for local residents. Trip topped off with a couple of nice pints at Kate Kearneys cottage.🙂 All in all a great day.

This is the 3rd time I have done the bus and boat tour in the last 5 years. It's a brilliant way to do the Gap of Dunloe and the Lakes of Killarney. Picked up and driven back to our hotel, it really is fantastic value.

Had a great day out on the lakes of Killarney National park followed by a good walk through the Gap of Dunloe. Tadgh was an excellent host. Picked up from our hotel and dropped back. Definitely worth it

The drive on the lake (1h) was beautiful and our guide was very nice. We were dropped off at a Café. After the hike (3h) the bus picked us up at kate kearney's cottage. The first half of the walk isn't too steep and you walk on asphalt. You can take a carriage if you don't want to walk (we walked the whole way). The view ist amazing and we enjoyed it a lot.

Great day out for the family. We took the boat trip from Lord Brandon's Cottage in the Black Valley to Ross Castle and couldn't recommend the trip and Gap of Dunloe tours more.

Highly recommended. We took the boat trip from ross castle to Brandon's cottage and it was such a fun journey. Our "captain" was full of witty and informative anecdotes. They were kind enough to let us bring our bicycles onboard as well.

All was organised as expected, we have been picked up on time. However, due to numerous pick ups later we arrived 50 minutes too late at the gate and barely made it to the lake. Timing needs improvement.

The tour itself is great. The boat trip was amazing, lasted just over an hour. The views on the walk through the gap were brilliant. The guy who collected us (tadhg i think) told us he'd meet us at half 3 at Kearneys Cafe. We had to ring him at 3:50 to remind him to collect us. Did he'd be there in 10 minutes. Arrived after 20 minutes. Laughed it off with no apology. At the start of the day he also said we could pay by card. At end of day dropped us at an ATM to get him cash. There were some UK tourists with us who got stung with an atm charge. The tour is great. The tour guide company, not amazing. Tim the boat driver was great though. 5 stars for him.

Very easy to book online and arrive at the pier at Ross castle. The boat ride was great with information on historical places along the way. Our captain was great and expertly navigated our group through deep waters after a rainstorm. I would highly recommend Gap of Dunloe Boat Tours for your excursion to the Gap of Dunloe! A++

The Gap Of Dunloe was my favourite day from our 2 week trip to Ireland. It was easy to buy tickets online and we showed up the next day to a lovely boat ride that brought us to the start of our hike. The only thing that was off is we paid for the tour online but then had to pay again to get a ride on the bus back to Killarney. I thought the bus ride home would’ve been included in the package. Our guide asked for $15 and we were lucky we had brought cash with us or we would’ve been stranded!

Our guide was excellent, it was a 7 hour tour, by bus, boat and horse and buggy. The people we met were so friendly. There was a great restaurant we had lunch at. And the best Irish coffee EVER!!

Absolutely lovely boattrip with a beautiful scenery. I could take my bike on the boat with me. During the trip we had to switch boats which was a lot of fun! The storys told during the trip were 50% facts and 50% jokes. Lovely people who work on the tour. Would recommend!

(Translated) Very nice walk we chose to start with the boat ride from the Ross Castel. You will be driven at 10h20 to Ross Castel boat leaving at 11am you have time to stroll a little. Then you will cross the various lakes on the motor boat (a good hour). Arrived at the end you will have until 16h to reach the end of the ride 11-12km further (be careful the bus leaves on time!). The Gab of Dunloe is really beautiful. The staff is very friendly and the online booking is really very simple. (Original) Très chouette balade nous avons choisi de commencer par la balade en bateau depuis le Ross Castel. Vous serez conduit vers 10h20 au Ross Castel le bateau partant à 11h vous avez le temps de flâner un peu. Ensuite vous traverserez les différents lac sur la barque à moteur (une bonne heure). Arrivé à la fin vous aurez jusque 16h pour rejoindre la fin de la balade 11-12km plus loin (attention le bus part à l'heure!). Le Gab of Dunloe est vraiment magnifique. Le personnel est très sympathique et la réservation en ligne est vraiment très simple.
