Reviews of Kinsale Tourist Information Centre
My trip to kinsale wouldn't have been nearly as perfect with out the help from the information center. The hospitality, and the general knowledge and warmth I received made my visit amazing. If you need help with anything, go here.
The people here were incredibly friendly and helpful. My wife heard from a relative that there was a castle (tower house) somewhere in Cork County that was connected to her family. We had searched for it online several times with no luck. We had planned on looking for it but didn't even know where to start. Within five minutes she had found the common name for the castle and the exact coordinates for its location and printed out an information sheet. Truly unparalleled customer service. We found the castle and even though it was on private land someone let us go see it up close. I can't rave enough about the experience I've had with these offices.
Opens in the summer season, very helpful! it can get very busy so just be patient.
Great restored building and very helpful stfff. A couple of old windows were the interest of our little one, and are genuine and well restored. My husband was convinced they had a model of old Kinsale City, but we found out later it is now in Saint Canice's Cathedral.
I'd rate the staff at the Kinsale Tourist Office 10 stars if I could. Absolutely 100% tourist friendly, helpful and welcoming with smiles & enthusiasm for all things Ireland.
If only customs & immigrations on arrival in Dublin had been so professional and welcoming within the scope of the job they are tasked with. I'd give the experience in Customs & Immigration a minus 10 stars if it were possible. I'm actually voluntarily ending my Ireland tour two weeks early because of it. Please value your tourists C&I, in 2019 it's estimated that tourism will bring just under €7B to this lovely country, creating many, many jobs for those who call Ireland home. First impressions can be lasting ones.
Great job in serving the tourists well at the Kinsale Tourist Office, however! You absolutely represent the true intent of the Irish Tourism Council.
Kinsale Ireland beautiful place to visit lot to do
Very friendly and patient staff ! I came with a phone problem (i'm french) cause the network was off, they try to help me with differents solutions. Thanks to them I was able to make a phone call :-) By the way, your city is so lovely, it was the first ireland city we visited and waaaa so nice with all this colors on the wall !!
Situated right in the centre of Kinsale. Very helpful staff. A good selection of leaflets and books and is the starting point for walking tours of the town.
It was the end of the Wild Atlantic Way for us. A must do trip in Ireland. We started at Donegal through to Kinsale. Allow yourself 3 weeks (at least) to cover the whole thing from the top ie Derry to Kinsale
Lovely new premises, friendly staff

Beautiful town located in the estuary of the Bandon River. It is one of the places that you cannot miss if you visit the south of the Irish coast, I am sure it will surprise you.
