Great set up, and kids had great fun on inflatables, and an introduction to kayaks. The kayaks are sit on top style so easy to use for beginners Safe with instructors and life guards on duty. Fishing and pedal boats also available. Wish we had more time there!

Great place and lots of fun. Well run with very helpful and friendly people. Very safe. I would highly recommend a visit. You dont need to be a strong swimmer as everyone has a life jacket. Looking forward to going back.

loved the boats and the inflatables, the best is the banana shaped thing, very hard to get on especially if the person on it wants to stay king of the castle, or if 2 people try to climb up on the same side, the trampoline thing is very popular, hard to get a go on it as there is always someone there, and when you finally get a go, you realize that a trampoline on water does not work like an trampoline on your lawn, and you'll just swim back to the banana thing. Staff are relaxed and just seem happy to be there which i like to see

Great place to spend an afternoon. Cash only. Great value. Waterpark has 5 items. Wetsuits not needed in Summer. Water warm even though it is a quarry lake. Lifejackets must be worn at all times. 2 lifeguards on duty. Kayaking also available. Loads of area to explore. Bring a picnic. Tables available. Very Covid safe

Great mornings fun here last Sunday 8th of July. Lots for everybody to do and kayaking great to blow cobwebs off. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will be back again

Great place for fishing. The owner Pat is a gentleman, and is always ready for a chat and a few fishing tips. Very good value for a day's fishing and there a plenty of beautiful rainbow trout to be cought. He should re name the venue angler's heaven as it is exactly that, heaven. I love it and will be back at any opportunity I get. A1

I was only here a coach driver bringing a school for they're summer tour but it looks brilliant for the kids, there is height restrictions but these shouldn't matter when you're bringing children kayaking and water activities, plenty of staff and lifeguards, when you look out across the lake and hear that it took six years to dig out you'll say you thought it would have always been there, well done Derrymore,

Fishing was dreadful never got a bite and from talking to ALL the other fishermen (literally all of them) not one bite between everyone all day we thought it was a type of "fish farm" it definitely isnt. Fishing wish a one star and i wont be back to fish. All that said i gave a 3 star because of the other things available they looked good but we didnt try that day. I might be back to try the other things

Amazing place just 50min drive away from Dublin, the owner and his daughter were very helpful and nice to us, we got there late and they were still happy to serve us! Would easily spend the whole day there. Perfect for picnic & BBQ too! I'll def go back with friends for bbq and enjoy the water park! :) Ps: Don't forget to make a booking before you go! :)

We had a fantastic day with our u14 hurling team at Pat Whelehan's Derrymore Springs, we were looked after really well and everyone had a ball, great facilities, great customer care...a day to remember. Derrymore Springs is a hidden treasure and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a good day out, be it family, sporting teams or work colleagues. JJ
