Simon is an amazing vet. We were lucky to have him to take care of our dog for the past few years and also her final moments. Simon is respectful, both towards pets and owners, he is very informative and most importantly he is kind and caring. Thank you Simon

I can’t recommend these guys enough. The girls are so friendly and helpful. As a new puppy owner they’ve been great to deal with. In particular a couple of weeks ago when our fur baby needed Simon he didn’t hesitate to work through the night to save her. I will be forever grateful. Thanks Simon!!! For the most people their pets are real family members. And if something happens to them we are trying to find the best vet whom we would be able to entrust our beloved ones. Thankfully I found Simon at McCourt&Murray Vets in Carrickmacross. The help and support Oscar and I got that evening was unforgettable and wouldn't be enough all ''thank you'' in the world. Professional and at the same time so caring that looked like Oscar belongs to him not me. Would I recommend Simon? Honestly can say YES! Yes for knowledge, for professionalism, for care and for being so reasonable that left me absolutely puzzled. Thank God we have him here.

Five stars just aren't enough to sum up the experience that we had with Simon when it came to our beautiful Westie's final moments. Simon's advice, care, and attention was second to none, and he was so kind and gentle towards our Westie which put our whole family at ease at such a tough time. He really went above and beyond for us, and that is something that we will always be grateful for and certainly won't forget.

I have been bringing my cat to Simon and his colleagues for about 5 years. As a lifelong cat owner I have visited many veterinary practices, most great, one that wasn't, but I haven't ever come across vets who are so kind, gentle, patient and caring as the team in the Farney Veterinary practice. They treat my cat as if she was their pet, and sometimes even give her a cuddle before they start examining her to help reassure her (she is very nervous). Their admin staff are all lovely too, very friendly and caring. I would recommend this practice in a heartbeat, thank you all.

Excellent vet! Been a few times with our dog for routine vaccinations and were seen by two different vets and am always pleased with the service! We have attended John and Kieran for years with all our family pets, horses, ponies, dogs and cats! We have always received an excellent service. Both equally patient and take the time to listen to you who know your pet best. We were delighted to meet Simon who has recently joined the practice. Simon diagnosed a rare condition in our dog and treated him accordingly. Our dog is now back to full health and full of life. We lost our 18 year old dachshund yorkie cross this year, old age caught up on her!! All the staff were so compassionate. They sent us a lovely card in the post a few weeks later. It is the little things that matter. I couldn't recommend this practice enough. They know what a family pet means to you; and have witnessed us at sad times and happy times throughout all our pets lives. I know that they have expanded their practice as we were regular visitors this year, they can offer more specialised procedures for small animals. I would like to thank Simon and the team at McCourt and Murray for the fantastic care they provided for our corgi Jackie. They were highly professional, knowledgeable and very caring. The surgery has an onsite blood testing facility which allowed for faster diagnosis. Jackie was swiftly scheduled for her procedure and the team communicated clearly throughout her treatment and provided us with a simple follow up plan. Simon stayed in touch to check in on Jackie's progress. Jackie is back in top form since her surgery. All estimated costs were discussed in advance. We would highly recommend this practice.
