R. M.An amazing vet, after getting poor treatment from another local vet (basically told us we needed an expensive surgery that she was not guaranteed to wake up from), we ended up stumbling upon Cuddy vets.
He immediately diagnosed her ailments and throughout the course of a few weeks, tried and tested various medications/dosages until she was back to her old self.
He provided consistent care over the course of the time with him, as she would regress he would recommend shots to help he recover for a few more months. All in all gave us at least 5 miracle turn arounds and because of this man we got to spend an extra 16 months with our little pooch Sophie.
She died at the tender age of 15 surrounded by loved ones and she was near comfortable until the end. It is never easy saying goodbyes but I am thankful that I got to postpone that goodbye as long as we could.
A huge thank you to Patrick and Ger and their love for our little dog Sophie, and their dedication to the welfare of animals.
Gone but never forgotten.

S. J.Doctor Cuddy is very friendly and kind. He really knows how to help and you can see that he loves animals. We had to bring our cat for emergency due his heart problem, cause he couldn't breathe normally. He really helped him, and us as well, cause he's very calm and very professional. Also clinic is spotlessly clean. We are very thankful and very satisfied. We can't recommend him highly enough :)
B. H.Doctor Cuddy is friendly, knowledgeable and has a way with animals. He is by far the best vet I have ever gone to and does not cost an arm and a leg.
My dog needed an emergency surgery after being attacked by another dog while I was out of town. He called me to explain the situation, was very calm about it and assured me my dog was doing fine. As I was flying back into the country that day, I was unable to pick her up until 10 o’clock in the evening, but he was very kind and assured me that was not a problem. He met me at the clinic at that time to let me pick her up.
During the healing process he even called to check on her a couple of times.
Anytime afterwards that I had doubts about my dog’s health I would call him and he always answered all my questions.
I can highly recommend him. You can really tell that he loves animals.
L. N.I moved to Cuddy vets after 12 years with another and i am delighted i did. We get great care and attention here. Very reasonably priced too especially when we've 3 pooches to get looked after. . . And spotlessly clean too. I'd eat my dinner off the floor.😊
R. B.I took my miniature Daschund puppy (Dug) to Cuddy Vets. I was very nervous about it as I have never had a puppy before and I wanted him to be in safe hands. The vets were wonderful - they described both processes he was having done fully, explained the pros and cons, and looked after Dug with great care. m. d.Cuddy's did all my veterinary work with my bullmastiff Zeus in his latter years. After extortionate prices I'd been paying all along. Oranmore n st Mary's road. Patrick cuddy not only was professional in his diagnosis with problems with his ears, where others had failed. (And way better price) Even when I put Zeus to sleep cuddy vets were genuinely sorry, as they have a passion for all animals( not customers) can't praise them enough 5 stars. And have new pup Alfie now, wouldn't go anywhere else
S. Y.Mr Patrick Cuddy just saved my boys life twice in 4 weeks.
First he spotted a mast cell tumour amid other cysts and warts. He performed the operation and gave me great feedback in terms I could understand and saved my boy as it was malignant.
Secondly amid an emergancy home visit and recommendation to bring my boy to his surgey at once, today he unblocked my boy who could have died. Xrays showed tears in his colon and severe constipation after I had bought him a cooked pig bone not realizing how dangerous they are.
Am so impressed by Patrick's professionalism and knowledge and his considerate and genuine heartfelt understanding and care of my little dog. His receptionist/nurse is also very lovely.
From now on Mr Patrick is vet says Rocky. Lastly thank god the bill is very reasonable.
