I cannot thank Mairead and her team from Arra Vet Clinic enough. I first came in August 2020 with one of my cats for what I thought was a small bug. Turns out my cat had severe anemia. 6 months later, he is doing great, still on medication and with regular visits to the Arra Vet. All the team is always great to me & my cats. Sick or not, they've treated both my cats with the same care and attention to details. They always have honest advice; their support is also amazing as they take the time to answer all your questions. I highly recommend Mairead and her team: extraordinary fear free veterinary service who show great care and compassion for each and every animal that comes in the door.

Myself and my cocker spaniel puppy Ruby had the pleasure of visiting Arra Vets a few weeks back. Mairead and the team are all lovely and amazing at what they do. The fear free approach that they take makes such a difference…the clinic feels homely and definitely helps the pets relax. Ruby got a check up from Mairead, teeth & ears checked and her nails clipped. I think the attached photo says it all…Ruby loved her time there and absolutely trusted Mairead and felt safe with her. I’d highly recommend Arra Vets🙂

We have had our beautiful dog under the care of Arra vets for the last 11 years and they have been amazing to us and to him. He’s a very anxious dog and Mairead and the team have been so understanding and treated him with such kindness and patience. They worked around issues he had with getting into the car and nerves and we couldn’t be more grateful. We have always felt so comforted knowing they are just at the end of the phone. We recently had an issue with him out of hours and Mairead talked me through it all and checked up with me the next day. I couldn’t recommend them enough - Toby has always been in the safest hands with them. We are so thankful for the continued care they have provided.

Mairead and her team are brilliant. Such a lovely environment in this clinic all round. All the staff are very welcoming and love what they do. I brought my dog to Arra Vets for hydrotherapy and they gave him extra time to ensure he was relaxed and comfortable along with loads of praise and treats which he loved! On his second visit he was happy and confident walking through their doors. The fear free aspect was lovely and made both myself and my dog feel at ease.

A big shout out to Mairéad and the team at Arra Vets! Our dog was quite ill a couple of weeks ago and his condition was diagnosed straight away by Mairéad which was so reassuring. She followed up with phone calls and texts over the weekend to check in..He was kept in for a couple of nights in the lovely practice and a video was sent to me to show my pet was ok and was responding to treatment..so nice for a worried owner! I would highly recommend this amazing practice in Tipp town

We have had our lovely golden retriever Belle under the care of Arra vets for almost a year now. All of the staff are very friendly and caring and Belle loves her visits! We love that this is a fear free practice which also offers a variety of good quality pet accessories, treats and toys. The text message reminder service is also excellent and reminds us of any upcoming appointments and services.

I was on a visit to Ireland to see my dad , and noticed one of his cats had an eye issue , and needed an operation, Mariead , cathy and all the amazing kind team could not do enough for kitty and kept me updated with her progress with videos and phone calls, and took away all our worries , I would give them 100 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I recently had to bring my Lab Misha in for some serious enough treatment. Mairead & team runs a 'fear free' clinic for her patients which is brilliant but I think it extends to their owners as well because she was just fantastic to deal with. For the get go the team was brilliant. Loads of rubs for Misha to get her comfy -felt like a social outing for her I think! Fantastic knowledge & treatment plan, completely patient focused, pre treatment, post treatment meetings and calls and then pre-op & post-op updates, pictures, phone calls. It was genuinely like being in the next room. Absolutely fantastic veterinary team. Really couldn't recommend them enough.

A beautiful friendly fear free practice. The dedication and professionalism from the team is second to none. I travel from South tipperary to bring my cat to this practice. Its fear free status is very important to me knowing my cat will not be stressed before, during or after a Vet visit. They are working on a separate cat room and ward which will be a brilliant addition for cats. Amazing place, exceptional team!

My cat Elsa was treated by Mairead the vet recently for a very sore mouth which required her to be hospitalised for a few days. The Veterinary care she received was excellent and her comfort was always the top priority. The clinic has a cat only consult room that Elsa got to spend time in everyday for exercise and her "bedroom" was divided into a seperated sleeping and toilet area. Laura the Veterinary Nurse took great care of Elsa and she even made time to sit with her and cuddle and chat with her. Mairead spent a lot of time working with Elsa and monitored her progress daily. She is quick to consult with other specialist vets when she thinks it can help and kept me informed at all times. Arra Veterinary Clinic is a "Fear Free" practice which means that Elsa was treated and handled in a way that meant she was never stressed while she was there. Elsa has made a great recovery which is no doubt down to the compassionate and professional care she received from the team in Arra. I would highly recommend this Veterinary clinic.

We took our Jack Russell for a checkup today and to get her nails clipped. I was impressed at the way the Vet handled our dog and the great advice we were given.. An update on my review, I took Bella for a walk the other morning and we happened to go past the clinic, well Bella was so excited, she thought she was going in for a visit.

Very good service, lot's of advice and support. This is my second cat Alice neutered here. Advice for after care and supplementary neutered cat nuts and very cost effective collars available. A call too provided after the operation was completed. Would highly recommend Area Vetinary Clinic and the friendly welcoming staff. 👍

My rescue dog was sooo terrified of getting groomed so bad that I was going to get trained to do it myself, but then I heard of Arra vet OMG Kobi comes out wagging her tail, they take their time and plasmas the dog as well as calming mats and plug ins (which I use for Halloween fire works) I travel to Tipp Town from thurles to get her groomed🐶🐕🐕💕
