S. B.I visited Halfords in Limerick evening before closing. I had a issue my my Mercedez(201) after I had used a car wash that left the car with what looked like damage to the night pack trim. I had received great guidance on cleaning products there in the past. I spotted the Harlfords person who have me this advice, and told him my current problem having gone to a car wash. He was immediately extremely helpful and came outside to view my car. He went back in and came back with a polish he believed would sort the problem. He proceeded to actually apply it to my car and it fixed the problem and car is good as new. His name is Donald and I have to say one of best retail experiences I have ever had. The guy is extremely knowledgeable and is extremely customer orientated. Sales orientated too. Halfords are extremely lucky to have talented employees like this. Kudos to them for finding and recruiting Donald, “the Specialist” . Tony arrived, checked fitting of roof bars, fitted the box in quick order and ran through the instructions with me. Donald came out, checked everything for quality control. Great service.

M. M.It's fine the store has all you need for bikes. However due to Christmas season whatever they have in storage on bikes are all booked through online sales and the display bikes arent for sale. So if you look for to just drop into shop to buy a bike you will be disappointed. Spare yourself the trip. Order online and maybe, just maybe it arrives next week 22. Or 23. Of December. If you wish to stress yourself before Christmas eve to drive out.
After Christmas it went way better!!!😁 reserved the bike online. Went to Limerick, called after grocery shopping, they had the bike. I picked it up,staff brought it to the car as they always do. Bike got recalled a few days later due to factory caused issues. Staff fixed it and some extra (my son built his bike on his own, so it wasnt entirely properly built). Now he is happy safely riding through town and loves his bike.🚴♂️

A. K.Thank you Tony and Donald for accommodating me and fitting my roof box on a very wet Monday evening in May. The fitting appointment was a late one and had been made through an outsourced phone line. I was unable to phone the shop directly. They were obviously run off their feet as appointments were heavily booked. (I would prefer to get through to store directly to book an appointment that suits everyone). I do not think this system is fair or repectful to staff. I am quite familiar with shopping at Halfords Limerick and I always find them friendly, informed and great on advice. They engage well with each other as a staff and are super accommodating to customers. Tony was very thorough in ensuring that I knew how to attach and detach roof box and advised me that it is a two person job. He stood in thd pouring rain until we heard the "click" of it locking into place. We were there well after 6 (closing time) and he went through the paperwork with me without rushing it. Excellent customer service.

I thought it would have taken a lot longer because the battery was not that easy to get to. I would not liked to have fitted it myself. M. F.Recommended wholeheartedly. My rental car indicated it was low on coolant so I went to Halfords to buy some. I explained my situation to the staff and instead of just selling me some coolant they told me that it would be the renting company's responsibility not mine (since I only picked up the car 2 days ago). They offered to look inside the engine compartment for me and told me it was right at the minimum level. They went on to recommend that I see the renting company instead and tell them to fix it so I don't have to pay for all the maintenance. The Halfords staff didn't even charge me for their service and they didn't try to just sell their stuff; they were actually trying their best to help me! 👍

Came in again today with a puncture with the intention of getting it fixed and buying a bike lock, tyre levers, inner tubes and a bike computer. Fantastic advice given from Coree about all products. He set up my bike computer for me and showed me how to put my back wheel back on as I was having difficulties with that. Overall: friendly, qualified, laid-back staff and exceptional range of products available. Can't fault them in any way! 5 stars all day!
