t. c.Very disappointing this shop is closing. Gerry and Olive would always do all they could to get your bike back to you in a quick turnaround time.
Repairs were always first class, we bought 3 bikes there and have never given trouble.
Not really sure how anyone can call them nasty people when they are the opposite of that. Always decent with local sponsorship, helping local events and a chat in the shop.
E. C.I don't often do reviews but felt I should as I have had a very good experience in this particular shop. I did not originally buy my two children's bikes there as one is 2nd hand and one we bought from a big bike store. The new bike was not assembled correctly and there were problems with the brakes the first week. I decided to go to Spokes and Saddles as it was on my way home from work. Even though I did not buy my bikes from this shop, Gerry had no problem fixing them both up at an extremely reasonable price. He said the way the first bike had been assembled was actually very dangerous so I really appreciate how he has fixed it up. There has been no problems with it since and that was 5 months ago. The second bike had a buckled wheel and needed pedals and even though it is extremely difficult to source 14'' wheels he found me a second hand one and spray painted it the exact same color as the front wheel. I really appreciated the effort he went to to source me a 2nd hand one as it reduced the price a lot for me. I will definitely go back to Spokes and Saddles when my boys are ready for bigger bikes. Olive is very helpful and chatty on the front desk also . Thank you Spokes and Saddles. Two very happy boys with their bikes! Eimear Coen
