Had a wonderful ride on the Greenway on our trip to Ireland thanks to this establishment and their rental/shuttle services. Rental and shuttle were a breeze. The ride itself was lovely. If you like rides like this, also ride the greenway in southern Ireland from Waterford > Dungarvan. Only suggestions would be to offer more rental bikes for taller folks like myself, and to improve the signage getting out of Westport, in Newport where it dumps you on the sidewalk, and to around to the back of the hotel in Achill to dropoff bikes. We spent a few minutes confused in each spot and went the wrong way once or twice.

Super friendly team that provides great and efficient service. We not only got bikes and helmets but also plenty of advice on how to get most of the day on a greenway. We loved the cycle and well deserved drinks while waiting for a return shuttle in a pub in Achill. Highly recommend.

Rented bikes to cycle around Achill Island and the staff were incredibly accommodating towards us. Our first driver of the bus, Jerry, was very good to us. We had no trouble with our bikes, and luckily the weather was pretty good so we could make the most of it. Staff were very good for making suggesting eg what parts of the greenaway they would recommend. And when we got their bus back to Westport, our driver James was very empathetic to us about whether we'd made the bus back to Galway etc. Overall, everything you could ask for in a bike rental company, and top notch scenery!

We showed up without reservation in the afternoon, and were set up for a great ride! Their shuttle service took us to our starting point, at the other end of the greenway, so we could ride their bikes back to the shop! Loved biking through the different scenery and sheep pastures, memorable and great way to explore Ireland on our trip! 🐑

This company sounds brilliant Will be choosing them next time after our disastrous experience yesterday with another bike company I had a nasty accident , had to be taken by ambulance to hospital, and had not ONE offer of help from the them. All they were concerned about was their ebike which was not involved in the accident . Zero assistance given Also, no helmets provided. Just a threat of being charged as I lay suffering on the side of the road

By far the best bike hire along the Greenway. Travis and the lads really helped myself and a mate out of a jam the last time I rented from them. I've been coming down to Mulranny (a village along the Greenway) for years and have always rented off these guys. A1.

I would highly recommend Clew Bay Bike Hire to anyone. We will 100% be using them anytime we bring friends on the greenway. They even swapped two of the bikes for electric ones when two of the group couldn't manage the cycle home 😆👏so friendly and nothing is a problem, even checked in on me after I took a fall.

The Greenway is a great experience. We brought our kids and they loved it. Us too. The coach shuttle drop off is a great service and means you can pick a suitable route length for the kids. Found the bikes all of good quality. Highly recommend and looking forward to returning.

Very professional service with great bikes and extremely friendly staff. On this occasion my travelling partner became unwell on the way into Mulranny coming from Achill Sound and the level of attention and service provided by crew were second to none between first aid and prompt support provided along with transport back to Westport. On top of that very good quality bikes and shuttle bus service. Would definitely use again when in Westport. Look forward to going back.

Staff are brilliant. Nothing is too much trouble. Do take their advice and a helmet...! Greenway is a "must do" at any time of the year. January was great for us... Nice and quiet and managed a handy pace with the breeze on our backs. More daylight needed to do both directions in the one day.

These guys were great. As I was about to cycle off with my heavy backpack, they offered to bring it in their van to my hostel. A few hours later, in the middle of nowhere, the bike broke down. Within 10 minutes, the van pulled up with a new bike. Great customer service, really flexible arrangements, and comfortable bikes.

Excellent service and good value. Brilliant way to enjoy the greenway. Make sure you cycle from Achill back towards Mulranney or Newport: wind at your back and mostly downhill!

We chose this outfitter at the last minute on a Monday morning, showing up at the Westport store shortly thereafter. Not only did Dave accomodate us with advice for our bike trip(the Great Western trail between Newport and Mulranny), but also with top notch equipment, and the capability to shuttle us back to our car.
