C. E.Decent hotel, comfortable bed, decent but limited options for breakfast, little options for vegetarian breakfast. Protein heavy breakfast and the options you had was how the eggs were cooked. With that said, it is in a good location and within walking distance to many shops and restaurants
p. m.This is my about my 4th time staying at Castle Lodge. The last time was maybe 3-4 years ago. I noted that they had improved the showers since I last stayed there with doors that accommodate a larger person. Excellent VFM for Killarney located right adjacent to the Town Centre and very convenient to both the Bus and Train station. Breakfast is more than adequate with plenty of options.
V.I stayed here a week ago and the service was just as good as the last time I visited. The room we stayed in was just the right size for me and my dad.
The breakfast was also very good, made me ready for the 10 kilometer walks we went on daily. It's also nice and central, only a 5 minute walk from the bus/train station and Main Street.
I also saw that the WiFi password was on the desk as we walked in the door, very nice touch, as I had to ask reception the last time.
Overall, I recommend this guest house to anybody who plans on staying in Killarney, I will definitely be coming back again! Thanks for having us!

J. R.Our beds were comfortable, but there's no air conditioning and we were hot the entire stay. It's right on a busy road, so we opened the windows, which helped, but then it was noisy. That being said, the breakfast there is GREAT, and the servers were on point. Plus, all three days we were there they opened their breakfast early for us. Plus, it's right near downtown Killarney, and just a km from Killarney Brewery. I'd stay there again, but request a room facing the rear of the building.

The Castle Lodge is just a gem of a premises with a good mix of older quirky decor that lends a whimsical charm to the Guest House.
The room we are in is immaculately clean, spacious and modern.
A 5 min slow stroll and you are in the heart of Killarney.
Make it your business to stay and you will not be disappointed. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
