J. F.Absolutely delightful, Mary our host is so very friendly. Rooms spacious and spotlessly clean. Mary made us very welcome with coffee and hot scones on arrival. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. Fresh fruit and freshly squeezed orange juice was given before our breakfast.
B. T.This is a fantastic spot and excellent value for money. You'll not be disappointed by a stay here. My sister stayed here recently and we payed her a visit for a few hours. It was perfect accomodation for what she needed. Myself and the boss lady plan on making our own return here soon. Great value!!
J. A.Family away from home!! Honestly, you couldn’t ask for a better farm stay. Mary (everyone is on first name basis) makes you feel a part of the family immediately upon arrival.
The room my family of 5 utilized was equipped with everything needed for one night to a week. The bathroom is large and it has the basics with shower. The room is large and the beds were comfortable, clean, and equipped with electric blankets. The kitchen (sink, fridge, dishes, etc) is large enough to save money preparing you own meals if staying for an extended period of time.
My family thoroughly enjoyed the outside and farm setting. We fed chickens, pet the horse, and we watched 40 cows get milked simultaneously by one person!! My kids loved it!! The cows were calving and we’ll always have this as a prime memory of Ireland.
The best part of the visit was Mary and her hospitality displayed throughout... the scones, cream, jam were all delectable. The fire inviting. The breakfast served as requested with traditional Irish items and basic items too. We truly enjoyed the experience! Thanks Mary to you and your family!!

The cottage is fully equipped with everything you could possibly think of, even welcoming coffee and tea with milk. The 2 bedrooms have TV's, TV in the living room has satellite channels, WiFi is good so was able to work. The main bedroom has an en-suite. Loved the open fire in the living room!
Washing machine, dryer, fridge, freezer, dishwasher - this lovely little place has everything!
Mary made a lovely breakfast... fresh farm eggs, home made bread and marmalade / jam, fresh fruit salad with no sugars, cereal, cooked breakfast - this is excellent value for money if there are 2 or more people.
Woke up to sun blazing and the sound of birds singing - so many wild birds, robins, chaffinch, blackbirds, bluetits and green finch all came to the door for food.
Athy is the closest little town, Kildare Village is close by.
I will certainly stay here again :-)
It's a working dairy farm so you can also view the cow milking in the morning and afternoon.
