D. S.Having not visited Poppies since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, it certainly was worth the visit. A fresh new look and feel about it, staff were excellent, friendly and made me very welcome. Coffee and rhubarb tart, just wow. Well worth the visit and I shall be returning. Well done Team Poppies
P. G.This is a gem of a cafe. They serve top quality home cooked food in big portions. You can have everything from a hearty Guinness stew pie, quiches, salads etc to generous sized rolls that you can fill from the cold section.
Their homemade cakes and pies are to die for, enjoy with a coffee or tea from their huge range of choices. Cold drinks available too.
The staff are so friendly and helpful and the whole atmosphere is cosy cottage style.
A welcome place to drop in to if you visit Enniskerry for the day. 🙂❤️

d. c.It was a very nice setting being able to sit outside in the middle of the lovely village of Enniskerry during the Disney madness. We ordered a breakfast roll for €6 and it was just bacon and a sausage, that's not a breakfast roll and way over the price of one. Alot of what's sold in the shop is way over priced. The food was only okay as well. I would think twice before going again. Not good value for money.

This is a self service place, you pay inside and take your food the the amazing sun of Ireland, sitting in the place where once was a street for cars but now just for the pedestrians, I will go back more and more, what a delighted place

D.Beautiful food, better service ! Had a stunning lunch here and our waitress, Leah, was one in a million. Not only did she individually cook & bake all goods ready to order, but was charmingly working the floor as well.
In the words of Sebastian McIlroy: "The employees make the business and that is what the consumer wants". Poppies must be ever grateful for the goldmine they have landed themselves through Leah and we will definitely be back again.

The staff are really good at taking care of large groups. They have it down to a science. If you happen to be in the area and in need of a snack or light lunch stop in. A really small place but you won't be sorry!

E. (.Staff are lovely and so are the deserts, but the place is fairly claustrophobic and the main foods are not the nicest. At the end of the day it's pre cooked dishes thrown into microwave or over to re-heat.

T. F.Normally a good spot for breakfast however standards have been slipping. The last number of times our order has been wrong or simply forgotten about. When they get things right it's great but just be ready to have to order more than once and accept substitutes for part of your order.

Ж. &. Я.We were advised to have lunch at this cafe during our Powerscourt and Wicklow tour by our tour guide. While ordering the food the staffs asks you whether you want a tea or coffee as it's a included in the meal's price then when you come to pay it turns the price is higher than what is written in the menu on the wall. I suppose they include the tea/coffee as a separate charge. Didn't like this trick. The food was very mediocre, for the same price we had much better meals in Ireland. I wouldn't come back there again.

¡. m. !.Every time I visit GleannDáLoch I make a stop first in Enniskerry. And the place I head for is Poppie's. I have a cappuccino and a scone to fortify me for a day's sightseeing. Today, I arrived at lunchtime. I had the carrot-parsnip soup and a slice of fritatta on a bed of mixed greens. Even though the menu is monolingual English I ordered my food using Irish. I was pleasantly surprised that the staff replied to me in Irish and continued using Irish through every interaction. I didn't have to counsel anyone about the trauma they experienced as Irish was bate into them. This comfortable bistro left a very pleasant taste in my mouth - from both the food and the respect shown to their clients.

Auch der Kaffee ist sehr gut.
Die Bedienung ist äußerst zuvorkommend und freundlich.
Die Einrichtung des Lokals ist sehr gemütlich, sodass man sich rundum wohlfühlt.
