We stopped just to have a quick coffee but the beautiful presentation of the cakes and the breakfast spread just blew our minds away! Absolutely fantastic food and surely recommend it!! 🤩 P.S.- All Covid protocols followed!!

Friendly staff, delicious coffee and very tasty food. Large outdoor area which is covered and it is also dog friendly which is a bonus too. The pod is very convenient for a quick coffee to go. 100% recommend.

It was a novelty when it opened some years ago. Premium prices for sub par food and snacks but it was nice to be sitting in a “proper” coffee shop so one didn’t mind paying for the privilege- now and again. Nowadays there is much more choice in carrick on Shannon thankfully as the place feels grubby, the food is consistently not good and esquires is now a place of last resort when deciding where to go in carrick. I do like their coffee though and would go there for a takeaway coffee- but not for food or cakes.

Excellent experience : safe, clean, great food choice for lunch, friendly staff, easy parking, our new choice for pit stop on our kildare to Sligo route. Safe - very clear one way system, pods available outside to eat in for those wishing to still keep their distance. Clean - immaculate from the carpark in, the dining areas, the food, the loos, absolutely spotless. Food - great deli choice, great coffee break choice everything well displayed under cover! we had soup and salad rolls fresh and delicious friendly service. We had our dog with us and water was supplied for her, we sat in one of the pods and she sat under the table. Nice timely break for us after 1.5 hrs driving have already suggested it to family and friends as a high standard establishment for refreshing pit stop! Very well done to all involved

Well to be honest i thought here we go another run of the mill coffee shop. But i was suprised to see the staff cooking away nice fresh breakfast. A large selection of fancey cakes and sambos... And i got a coffee which was extremely nice temp was excellent and flavour was rich and smoothe.

The coffee is outstanding, I'm yet to find a better coffee in Carrick on Shannon!!! Esquires offer a loyalty card for their coffee. Great selection of food and drink. I especially recommend the chocolate muffins. Delicious. Very busy at lunch time, which to me is always a good sign. The decor and atmosphere are great inside and out. The staff are immensely friendly and helpful: 10/10 The food and coffee is a bit on the pricer side. I do feel I am paying extra for good quality coffee and the atmosphere, I personally am happier to pay extra for those things.

It's fine for a quick cuppa. I would not recommend the food. Bland, processed and over priced. As i was in line for coffee at the food counter I was told my a staff member to move up to drinks area as I only wanted coffee. A very irate woman challenged me for skipping queue. I was totally embarressed. Obviously not all on the same page. Clear signage and allignment needed.

This is a very good coffee shop with an excellent selection of cakes and buns, ad well as a wide range of light meals. The coffee is excellent and service is very efficient. It is so popular that there is always a great buzz. So avoid only if you want a quiet coffee.

Excellent coffee served by an outmost friendly staff surprises you with budgetfriendly prices right next to those supermarkets. We had a cosy pause during a rainstorm there, while we waited for our laundry. Want to say thanks to the guys, who work there, who made us feel welcome!

An example as to how to reopen your business after lockdown. Family friendly, welcoming and lovely food (if a little pricey for some items) Esquires has managed to reopen for the new world with a new fresh look and plenty of outdoor seating. Worth a visit if passing through Longford.
