Fantastic! The vegan options are really tasty, good value for money. The staff is really nice. We're from Spain and we couldn't find a good coffee in Dublin, and here we guarantee it tastes like home 💕 (Update: we had breakfast here and we had to come back for lunch. The food is a-mazing!)

The customer service was above and beyond. The barista was incredibly kind and helpful. She even held a spot in line for me for the restroom so I could sit down and enjoy my latte. Nice spot for brunch. There's not a ton of choice on the menu, but the options are good. Dishes included vegan toast, granola with yogurt, and eggs with kale, mushrooms, etc. on toast. I had the last dish I just mentioned and the flavors were nice. The eggs could be substituted with tofu. There's filter coffee and the usual white or black espresso options. There's more seating than it may appear from the outside with a shared table and then seats looking out the windows. The place is causual with good service. I'd come back.

One of the best places in Dublin that does great coffee and delicious food. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options for breakfast, lunch and brunch. The atmosphere is very friendly, service is great. Great for families and small groups. They also do yoga 🧘🏽‍♀️

Amazing place!! My friend and I came here on our visit to the Guinness storehouse around lunch time. Great ambiance, lovely polite staff, delicious food!! Lots of vegetarian options, I went for the Syrian mezze plate and it was to die for! A great portion size, I was starving so I ate the whole thing but can imagine it could feed two lesser beings 😉 Decent Dublin prices and don't forget to order a drink too! I had a lovely pot of Mate Yerba tea. Wish they had a store in London too, but will happily recommend to anyone in Dublin!!

It's a treat to have this place up the road, great to have another place with vegan options to go to - definitely needed in Dublin. Sweet potato/Kale vegan toast with tomato fennel jam featured. It's the only thing I've tried so far and it's very filling. Update Jan 2019: Have started the evening Yoga classes, and seeing some benefits already. Have tried Hatha Yoga on the Monday and the Restorative Yoga on a Tuesday. Great opportunities to release tension, stress and gain some flexibility. The classes are profoundly safe meditative spaces, I haven't done yoga since my teens and I experienced no judgement or pressure to achieve poses

I neglected to take a photo of my lunch, the magnificent ‘vegan toast’ which was compromised of miso sweet potato, kale, tenderstem broccoli, flavoured with pesto and sriracha - the combination of flavours was outstanding!! I’d not even be able to dream up the perfect balance of miso, pesto and sriracha, it just works so well. Combine that with the contrast of the soft textures of the sweet potato and the al dente tenderstem and you quite literally have a party in the mouth! The flat white was beautifully poured and also very tasty. A great place to fuel for the nearby Guinness tour!

Do yourself a favour and visit! We went for takeaway brunch during lockdown. The service was very quick. Ordered the ‘weekend scramble’. It’s definitely one of the nicest brunch dishes I’ve ever had - tasted really fresh and the perfect amount of flavour. The coffee was also excellent. I don’t usually post reviews - but as you can probably tell I was very impressed!!!

There are so many things to say about this place. 1. I've gone to Groundstate a few times, but today I went twice. The second time I went back on a whim to grab a sandwich. Don't pass these up. Seriously. Sandwiches are lawfully the best food, and Groundstate makes some standout ones. 2. Their pain au chocolat makes all the others in the city seem like Tesco value. 3. Their selection of coffee gear is great.

I found this lovely place looking around Phoenix park area. I had a cheesy mushroom toastie, which was so great that I'd like to try it again. Also it was impressive that they have diverse options for vegans and vegetarians. If you have a chance to get near here, I highly recommend you guys to check it out to have a brilliant time!

Great soup with a warm sourdough bread on the side. Great coffee. Light filled and spacious, interesting crowd (mix of tourists with a taste for good coffee, locals and professionals working in the area. Not in my neighborhood but I'll definitely be back. (I did not partake in any yoga type activities as I'd ripped my leotard on the way over on the bike)

Really nice coffee and a great toastie at reasonable prices. Small/cozy/electic. A bit noisy but in a good city cafe kind of way. Group seating tables, free water and lots of natural light + free WiFi and toilets (for customers). I had the coffee sampler which came with a shot of espresso and a shot with milk. Both were very smooth with a fantastic chocolate nose and bitter but not acidic finish. I finally understood the idea of "coffee notes" in a stout beer after drinking these. Not sure how they do yoga in here in the evening but I love the concept. Highly recommended!

Nice coffee shop, very busy when we got there but still managed to get a table. Not very kid friendly. No high chairs or children's menu. Food supposed to be delish but we didn't eat. The staff were very friendly. Manager was very helpful and accommodating with our cranky 2 year old.

Had saucy eggs with the chili option = scrambled eggs, on a slice of bread, wilted kale and a red chilli sauce (not very spicy). Had a side of bacon and the coffee taster (small cups of espresso- on plain espresso, and one with steamed milk). The cup of espresso was very bitter. Great staff!! I'd go back if I were to go to Dublin again.

I lived beside this location for 20+ years... Everyday I walked past that empty lot with its big windows, that to me, were screaming for a good coffee house. Groundstate has not disappointed, it has gone beyond what I'd have imagined for the location and takes full advantage of the large windows with seats facing out and all along the length of them... And the coffee, mmmmm... just lovely, and well priced by Dublin standards. I've moved out of Dublin, but as this café is just a minute up from Heuston, I'll surely make it a regular stopping point whenever I'm back in the Big Smoke. My best to the new owners, may it work well for you :)

Coffee was good but our breakfast was poor. The vegan banh mi was not nice. We also ordered scrambled egg on toast - the toast was burnt and the amount of egg I received was minimum. They didn’t even get a simple cheese toastie right , that came out burnt too. Disappointing
