Seems to be a very local place, not too touristic, we were lucky to find a place like that to try the famous Irish Breakfast. Another nice thing is that they have vegetarian option for the Irish Breakfast. Everything was delicious and the waiter was super nice. The experience was lovely!

Cycled along the canal in need of a coffee and a bite to eat, Coffee 2 Go was closed so tried this eatery close by. Its next door to Asador. Staff very friendly, price reasonable, coffee and full Irish breakfast tasty. Seating available outside should the sun ever poke its head out this year! Will be back if in the area again.

Perfect place for an Irish breakfast. The proprietor was super friendly and welcoming to us Americans, and the food was very plentiful, tasty, and not very expensive. You can get a massive breakfast for 13 euros (includes tea or coffee) with perfectly done eggs, pork sausage, black and white puddings, Irish toast (definitely take the proprietor's suggestion to get the Irish bread) and hash browns. Brightly lit and nice inside. Suitable to take a date with you :).

There's something so homely about this place; the service is so warm and welcoming; we started with a cappuccino with oat milk- a great big hearty mug of stuff, it was delicious: We also had the half breakfast and an omelette. everything was very fresh. You couldn't fault it. We'll absolutely be back.

Lived this place. Owner is always friendly, and the food always fresh and tasty. My favorite is the smoked salmon with scrambled eggs. Though I don't live in the area anymore I still drop by for breakfast every now and then.

Hollandaise sauce here is to die for. And the BEST coffee in the area!

I'm so glad I came across High Nellys after moving back home to Dublin. The food is faultless and Barry, the owner, will be sure to put you in good form hail, rain or shine! Great diverse menu that never disappoints hence the amount of repeat customers (guilty). Such a refreshing local cafe that is miles above any of the souless hipster joints nearby.

We were recommended high nellys by a local taxi man who picked us up from the wilder hotel... we missed breakfast after a night in Dublin and a westlife concert. The taxi man said high nellys was the best in Dublin and he was right. The owner was the best of craic and when we asked for pure orange we got a pint each because we’d told him we were out night before. The breakfast was delicious maybe just a bit too big but was really well priced. Coffee was fab and the atmosphere in there made me want it to be local to my house. If I lived nearby I’d go every Saturday but unfortunately I’m 3 and a half hours away in Derry

Staff helpful and friendly. Food good and reasonably priced. One drawback for this cafe is Open cooking space means smells fill the cafe so came out smelling like a greasy spoon...need to sort ventilation system.
