I came on the second day of opening post covid closures so the menu was limited to Irish breakfast—I’m SO GLAD it was!! This was the best Irish breakfast I’ve ever had (granted I am Canadian); it was smoky, sweet, salty, and rich with charred bits on the meats. Even the toast was wonderful! In addition to the excellent food, the atmosphere was absolutely lovely. The owner is warm, welcoming, and kind. Since the place just opened, the owner is missing staff, so a restaurant owner from next door was helping him out in serving, even grabbing ingredients from his own restaurant when needed. Highly recommend!!!!!

This place claims to have 'Dublin's best breakfast' and if it doesn't it must be pretty close. I had the full Irish which was delicious and well presented. - also included both black and white pudding. There was only one waiter on and the place was busy on a Saturday morning - but his humour more than kept everyone happy. I would definitely recommend this place.

One of the more memorable part of our trip was to this little cafe. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the loveliest proprietor as if we were regulars. Not only did he take our order and cooked it, he made sure that we were looked after and fed. Fantastic Irish coffee and breakfast. Would 100% return and recommend.

Best Irish breakfast you'll have in Dublin! Allan loves to take care of his customers and makes you feel as comfortable as possible.

Really enjoyed this place for a dirty breakfast. The host/waiter was highly entertaining and the full Irish was just what we wanted after feeling a little worse for wear. Excellent value for money and we enjoyed sitting outside and people watching whilst Dublin woke up on bank holiday Sunday! Highly recommend.

The owner was funny and was very freindly. We loved the place so much we went back the next day and the owner remembered us. Place is small so get in early to grab a seat because you don't want to miss out on this breakfast. First day I tried the BLT and made it "sexy"(egg on top). Second day I tried the omlette with ham and mushrooms. He made my 3 year old the biggest hit chocolate with the big marshmallows in it amd my daughter loved it. My wife and I had the Irish coffee which was the best I had so far.

This is an excellent place for breakfast, the menu is small but we only came for one thing and that was the full Irish. Seriously delicious, cooked perfectly and not sickening like some others we tried. The staff were so friendly as well. Not to be missed if you're in Dublin suffering from a brutal hangover! Oh, don't forget to visit the bathroom...

Great place, serving all day Irish breakfast, Baleys Irish coffees..no strangers there always some friend there. Had perfect cappuccino, lads had breakfast and some wine.. recommend to get lost too. Despite popular belief to the contrary, I don’t ordinarily have booze for breakfast on Tuesdays, and I’m not usually one for clichéd touristy drinks, but when that Tuesday is Christmas Eve, and that touristy drink is an Irish coffee and it’s my first proper drink in Ireland and it’s like 3 degrees outside, who am I to judge? It’s worth noting that I actually ordered regular coffee, but when the guy said “do you mean Irish coffee?,” what was I supposed to say? I didn’t come here to be disrespectful. Come on. Also, that’s some of the best restaurant food I’ve had this whole trip.

Found this café on Google as it has good reviews so we went there for a breakfast. They were short staffed so the service was a little slow. Once we've placed the order, we didn't have to wait that long for our breakfast and the staff were really apologetic but it was no big deal. The breakfast was lovely so was the coffee and the atmosphere was great. Definitely worth a visit and would go back if I'm in Dublin again.

Absolutely world class breakfast. Had this a few months ago back in August when visiting Dublin for the day. Owner is very nice, didn't feel rushed when I was there as suggested by another reviewer, asked if I needed anything or would like anything else. Tea gorgeous and very accommodating. The staff were so lovely and hospitable, I had gotten off a 12 hour overnight bus so was feeling very tragic and this was one of the only cafes open and I couldn't be more happy with the experience but most importantly the service. Excellent little find. I went on the strength of some reviews stating they did the best Irish coffee in the city so that was enough for me. I was delighted to find out that they served coddle (one of the tick offs on my Dublin to do list) which was fantastic. And the Irish coffee was heavenly. I went along and had Irish breakfast there yesterday morning. The bad news is that no choice of tea or coffee comes with their Irish breakfast. That's where the bad news ends folks! For this place has what must be the best service I've encountered in DC. To be greeted: 'Now young man, I'll be with you in a moment' might not be to everyone's favour, but I liked it. Moreover, I had only a short wait before the food got to my table. I had just started tucking in when same gent said in warm, sincere tones: ' Enjoy yer breakfast'. Now that, to me, is service. Pity more places aren't as smart on this. Return here? You betcha!

We stumbled upon this wee gem of a cafe in Temple Bar after a late nights' hen partying. A much needed cup of coffee was ordered while we checked out the very 'small but sexy' menu (the chefs words, not mine)! Delicious!!! I had the ham and cheese toastie and my friend had the BLT. Huge portions, quality ingredients, all served with a smile. The decor is vaudevilllian-chic, with chilled out funky beats to zone out to. This lovely little cafe brought me back to life and set me up for round 2 of my hen night in Dublin. Check it out, you'll be glad you did!

Coffee is great although it is a personal preference - I drink black coffee - (some people say Starbucks coffee is good which to me it is even far from being poor). Food is also very good - pies and stews, etc. You can't go wrong with their "Irish Breakfast" and fresh "Strawberry Rhubarb Crumble" complemented with a nice cup of freshly brewed black coffee or perhaps a "Wine what sudden friendship springs". The general atmosphere in the place is great. Music, decorations, and overall feel is very nice and cosy. Its just my kind of place to go for a coffee where I can enjoy it whether alone or with friends.

Such the best place we went in Dublin : owners are deeply kind and food is gorgeous. We went here with my girlfriend and we stayed for three hours. I coudln't taste their irish coffee, but it seems to be excellent in view of our neighbors who tasted one. And prices are really, really soft : Less than 10 euros for all the huge sandwiches and omelettes. Just go there !

We stopped in for breakfast and the amosphere was pleasant and the service was prompt and friendly. There are old pictures on the walls and other nice touches. Although the place was about half full the food and coffee were both pretty quick (under 10 minutes). The cappuccino was made with real milk and espresso coffee, the milk wasn't particularly aerated and the coffee was very strong. No skim/half milk options available. Breakfast food was mixed. Everything had a liberal sprinkling of dried herbs on them, which wasn't appealing. The eggs were under seasoned. Bacon was well done with nicely rendered fat and good level of caramelisation. Vegetables were nicely dressed and fresh. Suggest staying away from scrambled eggs and asking for no herb sprinkling. Soda bread is a fun addition but nothing too exciting when eaten. All up, prices seem a bit high for the level of quality so I wouldn't come back.

Very limited menu, though it seemed reasonably-priced (16 EUR for tea, hot chocolate, and one "Irish breakfast"). The service was friendly but slow. Like another reviewer said, they're cash only but don't tell you until you try to pay. We're glad we went, but we wouldn't go back.

Went for a breakfast here on the first day in Dublin. The chef and owner should be a required Irish experience of his own. What a charming and hillarious man! As for the food well... He ran out of one ingredient after another as we arrived near close on a sunday, and I am glad he did- never in my 26years of life have I liked eggs but when this man made me a vegetarian breakfast (and rang the damn bell for it too) with what remained, the toast and tomato with scrambled eggs and spinach and DEAR GOD ABOVE.
