Jackpot is a term that comes to mind when thinking about Lemon Cafe. The quality of the food is superb and if that wasn't enough, so is the value for money. My wife had the leek & potato soup for starters and the Cottage Pie for dinner. I had a bacon and cheese quiche. Everything was top class. I devoured a box of cookies to boot - I've rarely found oat and chocolate chip cookies to be so scrumptious and so satisfyingly crunchy! Siobhan and team have elevated the humble oat! All food appears to be all made on premises including their desserts which is impressive given their kitchen size. But it gets better! Like that treacle bread that came with the fresh, wholesome leek & potato soup? You can buy that for a very reasonable price! The proprietor took time to speak with us about business and her recipes which was much appreciated. The staff are very friendly and obliging, the place is well run and very clean. The heritage centre is interesting and there is ample parking including toilets / toilets for the disabled. My only disappointment is that at the time of writing this, there are only 5 five star reviews on Google rather than 55 - this place is literally hidden treasure!

Lovely food, great coffee and a relaxing setting. What more could you want. Very nice staff and everything made to order. Check out the beef chilli wraps, a favourite of ours.

Sometimes in life you just get lucky. Maybe you're walking down the road and find €100. Maybe you find true love. Maybe your lost dog returns home after two weeks. Or maybe, if you're REALLY lucky, you live around the corner from an amazing place like the Lemon Cafe. Hyperbole you say? Not at all. For a more than fair price you get fresh delicious handmade food, and a lovely bit of chat. Every time it's delicious. It's never bland or same-y. It's just amazing. Nothing is better.

Enjoyed a delicious lunch in Lemon cafe on a sunny Saturday when visiting the area with friends. Setting is fab in this local heritage centre. Superfood salad was amazing and the gluten-free brownie was sublime. Felt fully comfortable with the covid distancing measures. I will be back soon.
