P. R.Visited Jolly early Sunday morning for a bit of breakfast. It's a lovely place. Very cosy, plenty of room. Staff were so nice, so helpful. Right in town centre, easy to find. Parking around the back, so handy. I think my scrambled eggs were the best I've had in so long! The eggs are obviously free range and cooked to perfection. The bacon was the same. Just so good! I can't wait to go back. Thanks so much.

M.I have eaten here several times over the last few years.I have always found the food to be fresh & good quality.Staff are friendly & polite, what more can you want.They have changed the lunch menu recently it has a very decent selection.Which would suit all taste. I had the asparagus & sapphire salad with egg, which was tasty & something a little different.22 euro for lunch for two, with a coffee decent value!
E. E.Not bad but not great either. The monkfish tails were decent but the chips were skinny, and far too salty. Both were served in a tin bowl. What's wrong with a plate? The tartar sauce didn't taste home made.

A. W. (.Stopped in on my way to Wicklow Mountains from Galway. Only a few tables were occupied when I arrived so I was seated pretty quickly and had a choice of tables. The interior is warm and cozy.
I decided on ordering an orange juice along with the eggs benedict. Overall the dish was good, the eggs were a slight bit over but it wasn't a big deal. The staff is friendly. I'd recommend it to others.
N. K.Went for Sunday dinner with my husband and 2 children. I ordered Chicken supreme, which was delicious and beautifully presented. My husband and son were less than impressed with their burger and pizza. Described by one as very plain and tasteless and the other as cardboard with cheese on top. There was no option for food for the baby so I asked for a very small bowl of plain pasta with parmesan cheese...I was given and charged a full sized child's portion. ..which, at €6 I found to be extortionate for a bowl of plain penne pasta with a few flakes of cheese. Of the 3 staff who dealt with us only 1 was in any way friendly. The front of house guy, who I can only assume was the manager was stony faced when "greeting" every customer who walked in the door. Not once did he crack a smile or come across as friendly or welcoming in any way. And given the €70 price tag for 2 adults mains and 2 child mains, 3 sodas and 2 coffees, we were much less than impressed and won't be in a hurry to go back.
g. n. f.Jolly is lovely. Food was good as usual, relaxed atmosphere. service a little slow, make sure you have time to hang around if you want a second coffee. There is a public car park just behind the restaurant which is handy.
N. S.What a gem of a place. Met a friend for breakfast and got the best seat in the house. Well recommend booking the window table. Will be back with the family soon for breakfast. Menu was great and recommend the eggs benedict. Staff were very friendly & welcoming. Found my new meeting place for breaky with friends. 🌸
