We have been celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary over the past month and the suite was the icing on the cake. Hotel was very clean & the food was amazing. Hope to return to the Corralea Court. G. P.Grand place to stop off on a journey. Food good staff friendly. Only problem we had was that the room was facing the road. There was a lot of noise starting at 6:00 am with trucks loading bin trucks, road sweepers and delivery trucks. So if you intend to stay make sure you get a room at the rear away from the road

A. M.My wife and i booked a deal through groupon for our wedding anniversary and stayed the Friday , Saturday night. The hotel staff couldn't do enough for us , the service was outstanding. The room was basic , but clean and comfortable. The food was great and the drink inexpensive compared to other hotels.Tuam itself is a lovely place and the locals are very friendly, we will definitely be back. I'd highly recommend a stay in this hotel, great craic.
K. B.Nice hotel with helpful staff. Food very good. We had an online voucher and were treated as well as guests paying the full price, which is not always the case in some hotels.
Only fault was with the recently refurbished bathroom which could have done with a couple of shelves for toiletries/cosmetics, a shower mat, grab handle and a toilet brush - easily sorted.
The parking was up the street in the church car park at a cheap 2 euro per day because the hotel car park was being used for outdoor eating/dining - not a problem.
Overall an enjoyable stay.

H.This beautiful little hotel is a home away from home, all the staff should be commended they are so plesent and friendly and accommodating, the rooms are cosy, clean and comfortable and the food is amazing, its just one of the things that keep us coming back, the town is like a cute little village, great for a little stroll around lots of great shops and its central to galway, sligo, Athenry ect lots to do and explore (lots of information leaflets available in hotel) within a 30min/ 1 hour drive in any direction from the hotel and with hotel parking as a bonus

S. H.I celebrated my 40th Wedding Anniversary in the Corralea Court, The Square, Tuam. last week Sun./Mon. 3rd / 4th Oct. It appeared to be a family run hotel. The staff and management were very friendly. I believe that this hotel and shops and bars in the Square, Tuam is the BEST KEPT SECRET in the WEST. The people I met were accommodating and friendly. Famous Last Words "I will be back" and in my case this will be true... I WILL BE BACK and looking forward to same.
PS. 4th Oct. was my 40th Wedding Anniversary which I celebrated in Spirit with my wife Sarah who went upstairs to the Outer World ( Heaven) on 19/3/2015.

Sadly missed by her husband, daughter, brothers Alex and John, sisters Sinéad, Sandra and Ellen, granddaughter, son-in-law Kevin, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
P. M.Have just spent the last three days in the hotel. Cant recommend it enough made to feel so welcome management and staff fantastic well worth a visit.

s. k.The Corralea court was just amazing from start to finish. To start the staff were so friendly and helpful, we travelled with a all baby and they done everything they could to help. The rooms were 10/10 for cleanliness, spacious and warm. The breakfast is served till 12pm and is huge and served fresh. I had the big breakfast whilst staying but the children had boiled eggs and loved them.
The atmosphere is very relaxed and the prices are very friendly. We will definitely be back ❤️

L. B.Been there for one night with a groupon, the room was nice, the bed was comfortable and we didn't hear any noise like I read on other reviews. Just the shower could be better. The staff are friendly and polite and the breakfast was lovely. The only bad point was the dinner. Food looked ok, even though not amazing, but after a short while me and my partner had to go back to the room because we needed a toilet! There must have been something wrong, maybe it was not as fresh as it seemed, maybe it was microwaved. There were few people having dinner with us, I'm curious to know if they got the same experience. Overall is a good place to stay, just change the chef!

M. M.Almost everything was perfect. Room was amazing, clean, spacious and very comfortable. Food is really nice. Fulfilling, well presented, cooked to perfection. Nothing was left on my plate. There is a residents bar. It all goes downhill here. The staff on the residents bar are some of the rudest!!! When I asked for a drink the bar man was very sharp! Appeared to resent being asked for a drink?? Eventually and slowly was served!!! Unreal! Wanted one last drink before bedding down for the night! It was a 15 minute struggle to find the barman!!!! When we (my wife and I) found him he basically refused. A separate guy eventually served our drinks. I can assure you neither of us were drunk. The experience overall was good. Just a shame about the bar end of the operation. We have 5 kids and don't get out often so we were hoping the residents bar would be a nice way of finishing off our evening. Stay here, eat here avoid the bar.

D. M.We are from Dublin and decided to avail of the Groupon offer because I was in Galway on business on the Friday so decided to bring the family and make our way to Tuam which we glad we did!!
Staff from the off-set could not do enough for us (or anyone for that matter). The room we stayed in was just as good as the room we stayed in at The Maldron the night before. Big double bed, ample room to swing an elephant, TV with remote, AC, heating etc. We seriously wans't expecting the room we stayed in for the price!
For dinner, home-made soup was very nice and the soda bread was delicious, the roast of the day, the presentation was unbelievable, again, something I wasn't expecting.
The only downfall was, that there was a social event on that evening and they carried on to 1 am, this is NOT the fault of the hotel and they allowed us to check out an hour later and even offered us breakfast when we made our way downstairs despite breakfast being over an hour earlier.
I cannot recommend this place enough, for families, couples or even business trips. Everyone in the bar area was friendly, and again, the staff were brilliant.

P. Z.Windows doesn't attenuate enough the noise from street. The bathroom looks like need some maintenance, few things was not working. If hotel is full there is problem with parking the car.

P. O. H.Bar is the Tuam equivalent of Clery's clock a cosmopolitan meeting place at town centre where locals and strangers congregate, a friendly welcoming spot at town centre. If one is afflicted with the demon hunger a friendly resteraunt functions from dawn to beyond dusk where stranger and local can eat and watch the town go by

They done like you to ask for an adjustment to the menu,say, swap a second sausage for no egg for example,also quite expensive! Huge plates,but not very full, coffee is also bitter,but it's ok if your starving and just need to eat.

E. D.(Translated) A first impression: the hotel has been renovated in the last twelve months. And according to a regular visitor, the whole thing has improved considerably. Everything also looks fresh and modern.
The room is spacious; even accommodates a third bed. The view at the front is of the (former?) Town hall. And quite a bit of car traffic passes by. Despite double glazing, that is clearly audible.
Dinner was good. Tasty turkey breast, slightly salty gravy, lots of mashed potatoes and enough vegetables.
Breakfast was sufficient with sandwiches and croissants, but without eg a boiled egg or toasted bread.

Een eerste indruk: het hotel is de afgelopen twaalf maanden gerenoveerd. En volgens een vaste bezoeker is het geheel er flink op vooruit gegaan. Alles ziet er ook fris en modern uit.
De kamer is ruim; biedt zelfs plaats aan een derde bed. Het uitzicht aan de voorzijde is op het (voormalige ?) stadhuis. En daar komt best wat autoverkeer voorbij. Ondanks dubbelglas is dat goed hoorbaar.
Diner was goed. Smaakvol kalkoenfilet, ietwat zoute jus, veel aardappelpuree en genoeg groenten.
Ontbijt was voldoende met broodjes en croissants, maar zonder bijv. een gekookt ei of geroosterd brood.
