A. M.I would highly recommend this hotel it’s absolutely fabulous! We’ve had a lovely, fun filled and relaxing stay here. The hotel is great value, very modern and beautifully decorated for Christmas. The food in the bistro was divine and again very reasonably priced. There’s an outdoor seating area with a swinging bench which would be lovely in the summer time. The hotel also has a snooker room which we used and was great fun. The breakfast was very good with a great selection on offer. Mags at breakfast was so nice to us and welcoming. Eric in the bar/bistro was amazing and very friendly on the night too!

M. W.Had an extended stay to attend a family wedding and we were more than highly satisfied! The four rooms we had were all clean and spacious with excellent facilities. The hotel itself was lovely and the addition of the Christmas decorations at the end of November enhanced the relaxing, ambience in this very welcoming hotel where the staff could not do enough for you! The food was outstanding, generous and excellent value and the bar prices were a pleasant added bonus! The wedding celebrations over 2 days was the icing on the cake. If visiting again, I would not hesitate to stay at The Diamond Coast Hotel. Thank you for a wonderful 4 night stay!
M. F.I film weddings and the Diamond Coast is one of my favorites, if for nothing more than Mary and her lovely staff. Mary's personality shines through every aspect of the wedding service, and permeates through the staff, they are so friendly and attentive. The hotel is spectacular, the dining room looks amazing every time, and the general atmosphere is just cozy and relaxing, it doesn't feel like work when I'm filming there. A fantastic place to have your wedding!
S. H.Just back from a 3 night stay with my family. The hotel is spotless. The staff are friendly and I want to give a special mention to the staff in the kids club. My two children had a ball every night. The lighting in the bedrooms is a little dark but that can be easily fixed. Will definitely be back and will recommend to everyone I know. The general manager should be really proud of their hotel and staff. 😊

D. G.I'm actually sorry I didn't have money for a room to stay in for my oldest friends wedding because the service in this magnificent hotel is first rate.
Located mere minutes from a surfing beach, the hotel is incredibly easy to find and far bigger than anyone would expect.
For my meal at the wedding I had a Chicken Caesar Salad, the soup of the day and a roast sirloin of Irish Beef, and talk about meat so tender you don't need a knife. My dad who cakes everything in salt didn’t go near salt once.
I thoroughly enjoyed my few hours in this hotel and would encourage everyone to come and get their own opinion.

Very good lunch for two with no booking. Tasty menu, with unusual combinations which worked well- chicken breast with cheese, excellent. Very pleasant surroundings. Friendly and helpful staff.

The food was a total disaster felt sorry for the waiter as they are the people who have to deal with the guests. We complained at reception didn't seem to give us much notice. Not sure how many guests complained about the food to management but it certainly was the topic of conversation amongst the guests. I thought the supplements on package menu were crazy there was a supplement of €3.50 on green tea and other foods also.

She booked it out of her account.On arrival Thursday 1st July when booking in we were ask for card details to pay for the room. I explain our daughter had it booked for us. The girl still insisted on our card details which we paid out of our account.
The room we got was fantastic very spacious superking size bed an spacious bathroom couldn’t fault the room.
The staff were friendly from the cleaners to the restaurant staff.
Food was ok. On booking out the matter was sorted about the card details an money paid back into our account on that Monday.

D. H.Nice surroundings in centre open space. Refused entry at first even though we were 10 mins before 9pm and the reception told us they were open for food. Food was generally good for 3 of our party but the pizzas were not. Dry and lacking in pizza sauce . The pepperoni was poor quality and low in flavour. A good pizza base is easily made with double zero or similar strong flour and yeast is readily available in most stores but these tasted like they were bought in pre made. Almost like the ones you buy in the big food stores. I could be wrong but that is what it tasted like. We are lucky enough to eat fresh pizza in Northern Italy every year and there was no comparison to the ones we got here.Enniscrone was not appealing to us and won't be returning soon. Sorry !

The staff at every turn were fantastic, friendly and genuinely seemed to be delighted to see people back at the hotel. Always ready with a joke or a friendly face.
The food...oh god the food. We ate in both the restaurant and the bistro and on all occasions the food was top notch. The staff were happy to make recommendations too (and I didn't regret following their advice) around the good food choices. And let's not forget the nice creamy pints of Guinness...god I missed pints.
The location is stunning. Enniscrone is a beautiful place and I would recommend a visit for anyone who likes sun (sun not guaranteed), surf and a stroll on the beach.
The room (executive suite) was large and spacious with a nice panoramic view over the local golf course towards the dunes, the sea and mountains in the distance. The bath had jets, jets are great.
If I had one fault it would be that our bed seemed to be a super king and had three pillows on it. Three fairly thin ones. I took one and folded it over to get a decent height, my fiancée took the two and was grand. Big bed needs more pillows. I have at least four pillows for a king size. One and only complaint and not worth a mark down considering how fantastic everything else was.
P. M.Built in the early 2000’s this is one of the most recent additions to Enniscrone’s hotel options. A 4 star hotel with all the modern facilities you would expect. About 100 bedrooms to choose from and really attractive dining facilities. It’s just beside Enniscrone’s famous links golf course so the hotel is very popular with golfers. It caters for weddings too; apparently prior to COVID you had to book for your wedding reception 2 years in advance! So it must be pretty good !!

A nice garden area too for sitting outside to enjoy a drink in warmer days. Lovely atmosphere and loads of areas to sit around. Both food in the bar and restaurant was very good. Usually go at least once a year to it here. Lovely hotel.

M.Really nice family hotel, second family break, hotel creates a very relaxed atmosphere even in this very challenging time, guests would not be aware of all the extra cleaning and sanitisation that would be going on patience is very needed with guests and anything you need staff will get it for you. FOOD IS REALLY GOOD staff work away with their face coverings which is very warm for them
One recommendation would be to get a trolly for clearing breakfast as it would save staff constantly carrying trays. Would highly recommend this family hotel, while there it almost feels normal.

The hotel is 5 mins walk from the beach and town. We will definitely be back

S. D. (. C.Stayed for one night only but was very impressed with this hotel. Arrived late and was shocked how big the building was for a small town/village. There was live music in the main bar for the guests and the pints had a "taste of more off em"! Had the buffet breakfast (full Irish and continental) and it was excellent. There was an optional choice of ordering from a menu at no extra cost also. I was especially impressed at how friendly and helpful the staff were. This is something that is often amiss in other Irish hotels these days. One slight negative for myself was that the bedroom felt like a sauna on entry and even after I opened both windows this did not reduce the heat much! However, the room itself was very spacious and modern. The bed was of great comfort. For golfers, the hotel is on the doorstep of Enniscrone Golf Club and there are stay and play packages available. If in the North Mayo/Sligo area then I highly recommend the Diamond Coast Hotel.

The only thing that was a problem is that when booking on booking.com it said a room with a view it was room with a view looking onto the hotels thrash bins and the roof of the hotel but all in all it was fantastic experience.

Tea and coffee with biscuits, iron. Food was excellent at the wedding reception and serving staff were friendly and efficient. Really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it especially for families as its so close to the beautiful beach.

Mary our wedding coordinator was brilliant. She takes care of everything and made us feel so calm before the big day. The hotel itself is in such a beautiful location. Its spacious and grande and all the rooms are beautiful. Our bridal suite was fabulous and decorated beautifully. The staff also went to the trouble of adding candles and some more decorations around the room as I was getting ready there that morning. The food was fantastic and the guests all agreed. Great attention to detail. We can't wait to come back for more celebrations here😊😊

T. L.My family and I stayed here on the 31th October and had one of the best getaways! Altho it was only for one night, this hotel and staff made a big impression on us. The staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms are huge! We only needed to book a double room as I was told all there double rooms have a single and double bed in them. Highly recommend for a family getaway. We will definitely be back.
T. S.Stayed for a wedding as part of a bridal party. We stayed in the hotel the night before and the ceremony was in the hotel. A good few mistakes were made by the hotel and the attention to detail just wasn't there 100%. No music for bridesmaids walking up the aisle was a big no no. The food was delicious but the bar menu for lunch was a bit hit and miss. The rooms are lovely, comfortable and spacious so can recommend for a stay. The staff are lovely and really add to the hotel.
G. G.Grand hotel does the job. Rooms were clean and spacious. Had to wait a little to check in but had been forewarned that they had a wedding on the day before. Breakfast spread was average enough. Staff were very pleasant tho.
N. D.We absolutely loved our stay from start to finish. We opted for one of the suites and it did not disappoint, large comfortable bed, jacuzzi bath, sitting room, dining area and sea view in the distance. The staff were very accomodating and friendly. We had dinner in the bar/stir bistro and both went for a burger which were huge and perfectly cooked. Alcohol also very affordable in these parts.
There was a great selection at breakfast and we also had a scone in the bar after check out which came with cream and jam which was divine. We will definitely be back.
I would recommend checking out Easky Pier near by it's about a 20 minute drive and absolutely stunning including an old castle!

l. b.The hotel and staff were brilliant the kids facilities are fantastic. A great kids club only downfall is theres no pool for rainy days also, the wifi isnt great that needs improving. But the staff make this hotel they went out of their ways to make our 1st family holiday brilliant. We will return 😁

We had a birthday party recently and the staff couldn't have been better.The staff are not only professional and friendly but extremely helpful too. Nothing was a problem with the management, all requests were met with the minimum of fuss.The food is top notch. I have been to several different functions here as I'm a local and every time it is just better than the last. It is very popular for weddings and mid week get aways at super value.The hotel is spotless. Thank you to Mary and staff for everything. Highly recommend.

C. S.I recently attended a wedding here and from start to finish the service was great. The rooms were ok and well appointed and had a deep bath and shower but the beds were rock-hard. Although there are lovely views from 3 sides, my room only overloooked the area where the parties are held and it was a little noisy. That being said, other relatives in the hotel heard nothing.
They serve a nice buffet breakfat and you can even have it delivered to your room, and checkout isn't until 12pm so it's ideal for a lazy morning.
N. G.This is a new hotel which clearly aims for a high standard but unfortunately falls short. The surroundings are quite opulent but it has an unfinished, disorganised and, at times, tacky feel to it.
On arrival one notices that much of the car park is blocked off using a variety of posts and planters and, as a result, you can find yourself driving round in circles (as we did) trying to find your way in or out.
Rooms are clean, well furnished and huge, but a couple of the lights didn't work and our ground floor room could have done with net curtains as the children's playground was right outside.
Breakfast is OK though the selection is not outstanding.
Returning to our room on the second day (we stayed two nights) we found our electronic key cards would no longer open the room and we had to go to reception to get them reset.
Food and drink is expensive, the menu is poor (not much for vegetarians) and the service was poor (they managed to make several mistakes with a simple food order).
All in all we won't be counting the days to a return visit.

C. C. O.A grand hotel along the Atlantic coast. Room was big and comfortable. It was very clean and airy. I like the decoration inside the building. Everything's well kept, staff were friendly and professional. Breakfast was ok with loads of choices of fresh fruits, yoghurt, cereals, pastries and hot cook food. However qualify of the hot cook breakfast was not great. Overall it's still a pleasant stay and good value for money.

It is a bit of a treck on foot to the beach - there is no direct access - but a short drive if you can find parking. There is no pool in the hotel. However the hotel does offer discounted rates to the smallish WaterPoint centre in the village which worked well at entertaining the younger generation on a wet afternoon.

s. p.Arrived Friday 22nd Feb. ....outside looked nic ....just wasn't aware enternce was also into a estate behind hotel.Went into reception greeted by nice friendly girl on reception .Got our room and was very nic ....bathroom grand, plenty wardrobe space, new teli....ect...but view was of a flat roof below window and of housing estate....Went for food in bar. Great service and food well presented, got chips as a side but we're type you'd get in McDonald's, yet another customer got lovely thick chips ahhh .panini we got was gorgeous.
Bedtime ....ahh no extra pillows in room, had to ring roomservice, got 2 more...great sleep...
Next morning. ...Wat can I say, breakfast was the biz, selection fresh fruits n yogurt, savage fry , breads, juice well done....
Time to see Wat this place has to offer , went to reception to find a notice board with usual tourism info, but none...asked receptionst, told us they done away with this.Asked us what we looking for, my reply was local attractions or that....gave us vague info ...left and tried finding by using sat Nav..Several local attractions but poorly signposted.
Apart that done out little tour around, back hotel went run on beach..beach is fabulous also, nic sand ect.time again for food , said we'd eat out..googled area, said try Gilroy Pub. .
Went their bout 9.10pm asked for drink, and inquired bout still serving food from bartender, he went to check as we looked around few tables still been served food, bartender back and looked at clock said finished. .we drank up N left ....taught poor
Went to India down road called Spicy Affair, great service, food lovely, N affordable. ..acknowledged to hotel to finish off night good crowd in, had drink n bed time again..
Got say hotel lovely, but could do more , activities lacking ....I njoyed the break, but area lacking promotion ,on fence if go back that area of sligo...

k. j.Thanks hotel was good , and the room was big and clean, but the toilets at the bar downstairs were not cleaned from Saturday lunch to Monday morning as I had cause to use them Sunday and couldn't understand why the rubbish bins were still full on Sunday . There was supposed to be food served till nine thirty. We came down just before nine and were told only toasted sandwiches or paninis were available. Also no chips. Although the pananis were ovely, if I had known that, I would have gone into town for something.
That was the only let down
P. S.Great views and great place. You can't really go too far wrong on the West Coast if it's not raining lol. Hotel staff were lovely, food was lovely and the break wasn't long enough. Place was empty so we got a huge room without ever asking which is the kind of thinking you like to see.

G. C.The Diamond Cost Hotel is located close to the sandy Enniscrone beach. If you want to see a sunset at the sea then this is the place to visit.
A convenient shuttle bus is available to drop you into the Village or to the Seaweed Baths in less than five minutes.
I want to thank specifically Michelle the cook who was given the challenge of making my gluten and dairy free dinner with a theme for each night, the food was amazing. Thanks to Mark the waiter for the suggestion.

O.Nice clean hotel, fine big rooms, lovely staff, good grub but v noisy bar when you are trying to sleep :( make sure you get a room as far away from the bar as you can. worst housekeeping service though I've ever experienced anywhere ever, Mrs reckons it is like kids done it. In actual fact our 6 year olds bed was the best made and she did it herself. Don't ask for cocktails in the bar, they haven't a clue and despite their best efforts, they are not good at it. Grub was excellent.

Unfortunately the hotel is definitely outdated, at least the room we stayed in, carpet and furniture definitely out of style, curtains too.
