Our team at Ortus Managed IT & Cloud hosted our corporate away day at Ballintubbert Gardens and House recently and we cannot recommend the venue and facilities highly enough. From the location, venue, catering and overall range of options for breakouts rooms and bedrooms, this place really is second to none. Jackie the manager is that great mixture when you need help organising an event, thorough, professional and wonderful to deal with. We'll certainly be back.

Amazing venue, this was one of the best weddings I've been to! The grounds are so picturesque for everyone wearing their best. The meal was lovely and the setup at the fountain for the ceremony was just beautiful!!

We were here for a wedding a while back. Whilst the setting is lovely and the wedding food was nice..... The accomodation is severely lacking. The yurts are nice enough but the bell tents are ridiculous. A damp mattress on the floor is pretty much all you get. Not to mention all the dead bugs. There was cute touches like a hot water bottle left in your bed, baskets with sleep masks and a drink and a snack. But the dead bugs IN the pillowcase and around the tent were not welcome. No power either. 1battery operated lightbulb, and a supplied torch..... I am obviously very aware it's "glamping" but the tents could do with more cleaning and better facilities given the venue's use. The breakfast wasn't nice either. At 120e a night it's not worth it. But as they are in the middle of nowhere they can charge what they like..... This was also reflected after the meal had finished and all of the bar prices went up! Had a lovely time at the wedding and plenty of fond memories but that is down to the company and not the let downs of the venue.

Stunning venue! We had our wedding photos taken in Ballintubbert gardens, it was one of the highlights of our day! Big thank you to Charles and Jennifer. The gardens are amazing, so many beautiful features. We look forward to visiting the gardens again.

Beautiful gardens, well worth a visit. Incredible history to the house, and a really magical place to visit. Former home of the poet, C.Day Lewis and John Hurt. Great venue for weddings and events, and just an all round gorgeous spot.

All I can say... Emily(wedding coordinator) - legend?!!! I’m in Sydney, and couldn’t make it home for my friends wedding. Needless to say, I left things quite late but I wanted to let them know I was thinking of them, but in a subtle, classy way. This is where Emily came in...I send through an email, within a couple of hours(bearing in mind the time difference) I had a response looking for my contact details. Emily and I quickly got in touch, and with no fuss at all, only enthusiasm - champagne, flowers and card were arranged, prepared, bought, dressed and delivered to the bridal suite on the morning of the wedding, as the bridal crew were getting ready - perfect! Amazingly nice person to deal with, fantastic customer service & made a special day for my friends an even better day, whilst I came out looking like a good pal too! Thank you so much team Ballintubbert but in particular Emily - Legend!!

Ballintubbart hse is absolutely amazing. My daughter had her wedding here last weekend. It was magical. The staff we outstanding, the rooms were fabulous, 210 guests, and we all had a fantastic weekend. Thank you Ballintubbart house xx

(Translated) More of a wedding than a garden. Once upon a time there was a magnificent garden and certainly 41 different spaces, but only one gardener in the place. The amount would be better if a brigade of green workers first came to do a basic refurbishment. Too much romance now. It is a more interesting sight as a local wedding venue than as a garden. (Original) Enempi hääpaikka kuin puutarha. Ollut aikanaan upea puutarha ja tosiaan erilaisia tiloja varmaan ne 41. Paikassa kuitenkin vain yksi puutarhuri. Määrä riittäisi paremmin, jos ensin tuli prikaati vihertyöntekijöitä tekemään peruskunnostuksen. Nyt liiaksi rappioromantiikkaa. Paikallisena hääpaikkana mielenkiintoisempi nähtävyys kuin puutarhana.
