I. S.It's not going to blow your mind but it's a fine parkland course with 4 good par 3s and 4 good par 5s. A good design with lot's of different holes and excellent greens, very well maintained. A very friendly club too. Green Fees very reasonable.

D. M. C.You will hear hidden gem all the time but it is most appropriate in this case. You will have to hit every club in your bag and golf your ball around this track. Greens tend to slope back to front and they're lighting fast and true.
Some great views of the Slieve Blooms mountains and the town of Abbeyleix.
L. M.Lovely course and lovely staff. However, the window of my Cessna 172 was smashed by a golf ball after I parked it on the fairway of the 7th hole

C.Tough start at Abbeyleix with the first two hole's par five's with the third hole being a short tricky par three with a little Brook in front of the two tier green that you cannot see from the tee box. A fine trek is abbeyleix I recommend you play it on the day I played the golf course it was 20 euro per man In a four ball competition but you can play the course for as little as 10 euro Monday to Friday and 15 euros at the weekend the clubhouse is comfortable the food is very good they could do with some more staff with service being very slow but the staff very friendly
