C. M.Modern, clean, comfortable. Large bedrooms. Food generous and perfectly cooked. The staff though are the biggest selling point in this hotel, friendly, accommodating and obviously hard working. They go out of their way to make your stay perfect, nothing is too much trouble. Well done and thank you

S. F.Great family hotel. We’ve been here with the kids (& extended family!) quite a number of times over the past few years, including for Mums 70th in June. We always have a great time with fab family rooms, great food, & exceptionally friendly & helpful staff which is so important when you’re travelling with a larger group including numerous kids of varying ages!! The pool is really well run & staff there are so helpful. We’ll be back soon hopefully!
M. T.Had a really lovely two night stay at this hotel. The reception staff are very helpful and friendly and I was pleasantly surprised with my room, it looks to be newly refurbished, nicely decorated modern and spotless. Next time I’ll pass on breakfast and eat out but the evening meal was delicious! I would highly recommend and I will come back again next year.

C. L.Beautiful hotel with friendly staff. Beautiful restaurant with delicious food. Pool is small enough, and childrens pool is very small, you would fit 2 adults and 2 children. Room was lovely, with very comfortable beds. The only draw back, and it seems to be in every hotel, was the availability of a mattress for the cot. So, probably best to bring your own or have the little ones in with you.

S. E.Amazing rooms, very clean with really luxurious rainfall shower & bath. Gorgeous and huge bar area with well-socially-distanced tables where you can get good drinks service at any time. Outdoor seating with overhead coverings available. Some tvs showing sports events in the bar. And very nice food in the restaurant. Breakfast is a buffet, I didn't feel it was worth the $ but otherwise fabulous spot and fantastic service!

The restaurant food and breakfast were really good, had a great selection of hot and cold breakfast options. I liked the blend of old style mill features alongside the modern design throughout the main areas of the hotel. I would recommend this hotel and gladly return again!
B. M. K.Had a brilliant stay. Hotel and room was modern but still warm and homely. Had dinner in the restaurant and breakfast in the morning. Food on both occasions was top class. Was an older gentleman served us for both dinner and breakfast. I think his name was Patsy and the service was absolutely top class. We'll be back again.
M. D.This is a really beautiful hotel. Food is gorgeous and staff are very helpful. They don't have air conditioning and the room was very hot but there was a fan in the room which really helped. Really enjoying our stay here 😁😁

A. C.My daughter and I stayed for 3 nights. The room was lovely and spacious. The bathroom also. The food was very well presented and tasty. My daughter would be a fussy eater and loved their Fish & Chips and Pizza. The staff couldn't do enough for us and so helpful with advice on day trips. It was our first time in Donegal, we will be back again and will definitely stay in the same hotel.

M. O.Loved this hotel, very fancy. Despite a small snafu with the initial check-in they got us into a beautifully updated room. 2 double beds and 2 comfortable chairs with a table. Bathroom was gorgeous, it had a separate soaking tub and a shower with a overhead rain fixture and handheld fixture. Very large heated towel rack but we didn't have control of when it came on. Other bummer was the fan is just an old vent style that stopped sucking at random times. Beds were firm but very comfortable and the pillows and blankets were great. Restaurant was excellent, we ate there twice plus breakfast twice. The "Mexican" chicken tasted like curry but it was good. The breakfast area was seprate from the restaurant and was just as good. Tons of traditional Irish Breakfast options. Best hotel we stayed in during this trip to Ireland. They were remodeling rooms on the 1st floor while we stayed in 2019.

J. G.Lovely hotel with rooms that were so comfy and beautiful. Great shower which I find is a let down in most other hotels I've stayed at. I mentioned when checking in that I would be working all night and going to bed before breakfast, when I got in at 6am the night porter was expecting me and brought me to a continental breakfast and made coffee and toast. A staff member(I presume a chef just coming in) offered to make me a cooked breakfast as soon as he set up. Friendly helpful staff is the difference between an ok hotel and a good hotel and the staff here make it a place you would look forward to staying at again.

P. K.Beautiful hotel in wonderful setting on the outskirts of Donegal town, only 5 minutes drive from the centre if the town. Rooms are spacious and well furnished with plenty of storage space and includes a trouser press. The large bed was most comfortable offering a great nights sleep. Bathroom has separate shower cubicle and bath. The leisure centre is available for all guests and includes a swimming pool and hot tub.The staff were very efficient and friendly. Food was excellent with a varied selection at reasonable prices. I would recommend. Making a reservation for the restaurant although the same dinner menu is available in the bar and served equally efficiently. I enjoyed my stay and sitting in the gardens.

S.The room was so hot we couldnt breath. They said they had no fans left. When we complained the manager actually took his fan from his office and gave it to us. It made me feel better about the experience. The breakfast was pretty good and it had plenty of parking which we found was rare in Ireland.

The hotel itself is set in beautiful grounds & the bedrooms are large, well equipped & spotlessly clean. The leisure facilities are also very clean & manned by friendly staff. The food at the wedding reception, breakfast & room service were very high quality & perfectly cooked & presented. The jewel in the Mill Park's crown is the staff. Everyone we met from the owner to the waiting staff treated us with us with genuine friendliness & enthusiasm and ensured that our every need was met with professional efficiency- a high level of training is evident. Special word of thanks to wedding co-ordinator Mary for overseeing the day & supervising the function with the perfect blend of efficiency & fun. I would highly recommend this hotel & hope to return in the future.

I had the seafood chowder which came with fish pancakes something I've never seen before, they were gorgeous. The burger to follow which was lovely and so well presented and then a sundae that I really didn't need but wanted to try the desserts. Very reasonable prices. A. D.Me and my other half looked into a nite away and found this hotel,looked lovely so we booked it for last thursday nite..... The room was beautiful,bed very comfy our room had two big roof window's that opened up letting in a lovely air all nite.... We had dinner that nite and the whole meal was absolutely beautiful and the grounds around the hotel are so calming and peaceful really beautiful.... The staff that we had any dealings with were so friendly and helpful... All in all we wil definitely be back, thanks for a lovely night
J. G.From an American point of view the menu consisted of upscale things we see at home. The Irish touches are of course still there and the service exemplary. Family friendly with a light atmosphere. Based on the number of people walking in that knew my cousin I'd say it is popular with the locals as well.

Front desk helped us schedule two tours for the next day: cliff tour with John (go!), and Waterbus (fun!).
Short, easy walk to Donegal Town with many great places to eat, shop, drink, and sights to see ( famine cemetery, castle, Abby, Harbor, etc). Grocery and snack stores near.
Included breakfast buffet was excellent and huge as is typical in Ireland.
Fish and steaks in on site restaurant top notch.
Comfy lobby with nice wood fire in evenings.
Fast inexpensive laundry service.
Facilities manager needs to attend to minor but obvious repairs (campus litter, slow sinks, wear and tear).
Downsides:
-nice patio but it’s for smokers (BLECH!). Who smokes anymore?!? Ashtrays directly under no smoking signs.
-internet/WiFi is SLOW. REALLY SLOW. So I used cell data. Needs immediate upgrade. Many restaurants in town had 60Mbps, Mill Park was 1-5Mbps with 500ms latency.

J. S.We ve been going to the Mill park for over 11 years. The family rooms are really spaces and the staff are so friendly nothing is any bother to them. My boys love the swimming pool and the food. You haveca 10 min walk into Donegal town which is beautiful. If you ve mot been well worth a visit you will not be dissapointed.

Googled hotel in donegal and rang the mill park and booked a double room.when we arrived the at reception Jennifer was the girl who looked after john he just happened to say what had happened and she spoke to her companion and we were upgraded to a suite wow all the bar staff amazing and sunday it was the tipperary game i happened to ask kevin would it be possible to watch int in the other bsr he said absolutely his lovely wife niamh set tv up for us where a lovely young barman called rory brilliant lad and great sense of humour and if course tipperary won.i will definitely beback
