Reviews of Navvy Bank Walk
Great place for a walk at all times of the year with nice views of Dundalk Bay and mountains. Has plenty of wildlife with a bird sanctuary in its limits and the chance to see seals.
Navvy Bank Walk offers scenic views, but the pedestrian footpath is poorly maintained, too narrow, full of rubbish and dog's filth.
I suppose a few litter bins could help to preserve this much loved by locals walking route.
A walk along the Bank on a clear blue day, with the Cooley Mountains on the far side, and the pilot boat guiding in a big ship.... sure what more could you ask for.
Great spot to get the steps in while admiring the amazing scenery. Great spot for blowing the cobwebs away.🤗
There is a most beautiful view to the river and hills!!!! Specially in the evening sunset!!!
Extremely beautiful!
🙂
Very good
Excellent
Best walk in Dundalk
Lovely
Probably the best urban walk in Ireland. Calming, relaxing, easily accessible. Quiet but not isolated. Beautiful views of the river, Dundalk bay, and the hills and mountains of south Armagh and north Louth.
Good place for walk with dogs or exercise. I recommend to search online for the high tide.
The only thing that could be better it’s the smell 🥴
Better views on high tide.
Loved by the locals and popular spot for walking dogs.
That was a gorgeous promenade! Unique landscapes with with the sun!
Fantastic views and a nice peaceful walk. Particularly beautiful at sunset when the tide is in. Would be nice if it was widened to allow for bicycles. Can be difficult to get passed the treatment plant at time, especially when they leave the big containers opened.
The view is soothing with number of people jogging. Must visit if you have few hours to spare near dundalk town center.
A fantastic place
