This is amazing, a truly Argentinian experience in the middle of Ireland. I got the Parrillada and it was as close as the original in terms of taste, along with Chimichurri and Criolla sauce, the meat was delicious. The provoletta was also very high quality. This is definitely for 3 people if you don't eat that much. I highly recommend, I will go back if I'm on the area again.

We went on a Saturday night, with a married couple who recommended the place and it was an excellent recommendation. We came from Dublin, my friends are locals and we really would like to come back soon to try those charcoal baked oysters with a cheese sauce again. I had a steak, John Stone, excellent reputation and well deserved. My partner had a seafood plate. They know how to cook meat, but they know how to cook fish and seafood. All excellent, honestly. Good wine options, the wine list is short, but complete and good options. There is also a cocktail menu, my partner and our friend had some of these. I went for a don Pedro, a scoop of ice cream, a shot of whiskey and nuts, pleasant atmosphere, music, tango and Latin, excellent service. a nice surprise. I would return, of course and I have already recommended it to my acquaintances

Nice place to visit.. The restaurant is well organised and table layout is safely distanced in these Covid times. There is a nice atmosphere and ambience. The starter of chorizo sausage is so good and home made. Had the T-bone steak for mains... Was excellent... They have Estrella beer on draft too.. Its not cheap but the quality is good. Staff were helpful and friendly. Overall would recommend a visit and will be back.

Excellent place to eat out in. Very welcoming staff and owners. The Food is absolutely delicious. The 3 course meal deal for 19.90e is excellent value for money. The wait times between each course was very minimal. Regarding the steak it is absolutely out of this world. So mouth watering and tender. I have never tasted anything like it. I definitely recommend everyone to try it. ***vegeterian options also available***

Best steakhouse restaurant in Athlone. I had the squid starter which was exSQIUDsite and the chef steak special, my girlfriend had the mussles and the fillet mignon. The cocktails were very good with a high quality bar. The atmosphere was perfect for a romantic dinner and the staff were lovely! We will definitely come back!

Wow, what a treat 1810 was. Visited last night 17th September and was blown away. We were walking down Pearse Street after parking the car absolutely starving and just popped in. Had never even heard of the place. We ordered off the tapas menu, we got lamb skewers, beef empanadas chorizo and argentinian black pudding and the piri piri chicken croquettes. Down to the garnish on the side, all of the dishes were excellent. So tasty. We also got patatas bravas and chips on the side and both were superb. The chocolate fondant and lemon prosecco desserts were a perfect end to a sensational meal. Atmosphere was great all round, lighting perfect and lovely Latin style music playing made this experience a complete pleasure of all the senses. The lady and the young man who served us were very pleasant and the service was very smooth. I could not recommend this beautiful establishment enough. An absolute gem in the heartland of the country.

Food is absolutely gorgeous, the staff are so friendly and really helpful. They use Lavazza coffee which is my favourite and it is really food here. Desert is beautiful. The restaurant itself is really chill and has a great mood to it, you can really just relax have nice food and have a good time. Would definitely recommend trying this place if you havnt.

Nicest steaks we have had in a long time. Attentive service and relaxed atmosphere. We had the rib eye and t-bone, cooked to perfection! Slightly underdone at first (we like it red / medium) but they had no problem doing it a little more. Always best to serve slightly underdone rather than overdone. The grilled vegetables on the side were also delicious.

Went for the Tapas menu and I was really surprised at the quality of the food. Authentic tapas which was very well presented and with an excellent choice of dishes and so many flavours. I would highly recommend it and I will be back. The staff were very helpful too.

The most amazing food at 1810. Gorgeous restaurant with friendly and attentive service. We both had the Sunday roast lamb special. Perfectly cooked lamb with roasted veg. Incredible gravy and a green tahini sauce which really added to this already perfect meat dish.Generous portions in a relaxed atmosphere. The Bossa Nova background music was just perfect. An absolute must for anyone visiting Athlone. About 1 minute walk from the cathedral. Not to be missed.

We had lunch here recently and I have to say their steaks are delicious. Juicey and done to perfection we were so glad we visited here. Lovely relaxing music and the lady who served us was so helpful. You can park in the square in Athlone and it's just a short walk to get there. I think it's the charcoal that gives the steak the incredible flavour and they do it right. We will definitely be back.

We had our colleague Dorothy's retirement do here tonight and there was 20of us....well when I say the team her here went over and above to make sure the night was both special and memorable is an understatement. Everyone one of us was seated together, served at the same time with the tastiest steaks in town OMG 1810 Steakhouse is a most try.
