V. H. N.Amazing house fries with addition of rosemary and very decent burgers. I tried both their buttermilk chicken burger and BOB burger, and both were great though fell a bit short of the best I've had. There was a bit too much dressing on the chicken and it was not as crispy as I'd have liked, and since the buns were not toasted, it turned the bread soggy as well.
That said, service was quick and staff very friendly, and I would happily recommend it to friends. Just hoping for toasted buns next time :)

M. F.Well, I didnt expect the star of this place to be those delicious chips! The buffalo burger was nice enough, nothing special. My husband had the handsome burger and fancies himself quite the burger connoisseur. He said it was awesome, perfectly cooked, juicy, tender, with loads of flavour. There was a Christmas fries special which was basically a Christmas dinner on fries and was pretty damn epic! The staff were great as well, really friendly and accommodating. Brilliant stop off on a rainy visit to Galway :)

J. B.Fantastic experience as usual. Outdoor seating area is perfect and I cannot say enough good things about the staff here honestly. So friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the music selection! Food is almost an afterthought as the atmosphere is so fantastic but it was, of course, absolutely delicious. Will be back as often as possible!
P. f. A.Not a good as I expected. I got the BOB burger and it would have been amazing but the bacon was mostly fat cuttings (yuck). The chips though are amazing, I could not get enough of them. Also I like the whole wooden forks but could you please get forks with prongs more then 1cm long

D. J.Very good burger. My only complaint about the burger I got (Handsome Burger) is that it was filled with almost too much juices. By the end of it I was completely covered in juices and so was the tray below. Other than that, really enjoyed it!

The music they have isn't too loud and is some classic 40's and 50's music which ties into the hip decor nicely. Job well done, I think I've found my go to burger joint in Galway!

B.A stand-out burger place before and after its covid reopening. A short, simple but inventive burger menu that offers something for everyone. The loaded fries are particularly special, with a portion that is perfect for sharing between two or a meal in itself. Everything is packed with flavour and the staff have always been friendly and helpful. For a fairly new establishment it already has a big reputation and honestly, sets the bar for burger dining in Galway City and as an ex-resident of Dublin City I can say confidently it lacks nothing next to the hard hitters there either.
Does not accommodate those with many dietary requirements well, but in return the menu is simplistic and consistent. Offers fantastic meatless burgers with the bhaji burger being something to turn the head of even the most avid meat-eater.

I got the Bob and fries (€5 for a milkshake so I stook with water) I could only pick through afew fries as they were hard and over crispy.. way over, not soft and fluffy like the first time. Burger was average and with so many other places doing burgers, with parking and loads of seating I don't see myself returning to handsome burger anytime soon.

C. D.Walking into this place, the decor was very carefully chosen and designed. Taking on a diner feel with Irish aesthetics is something that can go wrong if left in the wrong hands, but these lads got the balance perfect. Menu board on top of the till, plenty of choice. Burgers arrived seasoned to perfection, with an implicit understanding of the importance of crust, cooked perfect medium. Toppings not overflowing, bonded very well so it never fell apart, brioche held its own throughout proceedings. Fries were perfect, well seasoned. Had the garlic aioli, flavours perfectly balanced. We sat and were never pressured to leave, even as it got busy. Absolute must when you come to Galway, this is a master class in fast food.

Family of four we ordered up some milk shakes and then the enjoyed the BOB (amazing beef) then the Straight Shooter (amazing chicken ). The side of fries topped off our food diven hunger and in my opinion, the Straight Shooter way out did chick fil a.... No regrets..

We had 170 guests & 150 guests had a handsome burger despite guests having 3x other food trucks (pizza, fish & Thai) to choose from -this clearly shows how popular & scrumptious Handsome Burgers are. I’m a veggie & the lads been so nice as always did veggie fries 🍟 too to cater for the Veggie Bride & vegetarian guests. Guests raved about the burgers & the friendly handsome burger lads who served them. We were delighted to support a thriving, local Galway cuisine business & also fortunate (dangerous too) to live only 5 mins from Handsome Burger -our local meat & veggie favourite restaurant. S. R.Cosmic Cowboy Burger. Never had one like it before - probably never will again (unfortunately!). BUT that's because it was a one of a kind tasting burger and was EXCELLENT! (And we are only staying 1 day in Galway). 6oz patty of pure Irish beef cooked perfectly and some unique ketchup spread and flavored pickles with a generous portion of bacon and cheese! YUM! Also go the homemade fries loaded with maple bacon (very generous amount) and some kind of aioli sauce that was a real treat for the taste buds!! If you are in Galway Ireland - look no further. This is the burger joint for you!

N. M.While the food was fantastic (recent "best burger in Ireland winner... Lived up to expectations!), what really stood out was the amazing service. The two young men running the counter/floor delivered better customer service than I've had at most fine dining restaurants, let alone burger joints.
Despite being crazy busy, they showed genuine care and appreciation for every single customer... While working furiously to keep things moving (line up was several people deep the entire time I was there).

Llevaba un tiempo queriendo probar esta hamburguesa y mereció la pena. Las patatas eran crujientes por fuera y tiernas por dentro. La hamburguesa llena de sabor, nos pareció pequeña al principio, porque llegamos con hambre, pero fue más que de sobra. De las mejores que he probado. Probamos la BOB y la smoketer, las dos estaban buenísimas, pero recomiendo la segunda por el toque ahumado. Se sentía artesanal, la carne se desmigaba.
El restaurante esta bonito, con ladrillo visto y el baño estaba super limpio, me llamó la atención que había hasta desodorantes.
La atención fue genial, muy atentos.
