A. R.Great value for money. Stayed on a January deal in a dog friendly room. Good food and friendly staff. Even allowed the dog in the bar. Great to be able to travel with our dog which is unusual in Ireland. Be aware if you attempt Croagh Patrick that dogs are not allowed. Only slight quibble with hotel is plastic use in bathrooms and on the breakfast buffet. Maybe something more environmentally friendly? Otherwise 100%. Will definitely go back.
S.Great hotel. Very good price for location. The car parking was tight just like other reviews have said but better than none. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only real downside is that check in is 4pm especially when checkout is 11am. We arrived early and got checked before 4pm which was great though. The rooms were a bit dated and probably need updating but we were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend for a central and good value hotel in Westport.

L.We booked a January deal for 2 nights b&b with a free dinner on a hotel's website just for 169€ (for Superior room, Deluxe rooms are even cheaper), can't complain about anything considering such a low price! The room itself is spacious with high ceiling and huge windows. Clean, cozy, quiet, relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff and charming city. Good food and cocktails.Try to check in earlier if you travel by car because parking is not big and usually full at about 7-8 pm. A very good experience, thanks!

E. K.Checked in on Friday, we were early so went to the bar to start our wedding anniversary. We had a few drinks and beautiful lunch while we waited for our room. We got checked in earlier than we thought. The room was spacious, clean, bright and beautiful. Breakfast on both mornings were so tasty, piping hot and delicious. Staff friendly and attentive. We booked again on checkout. Can't wait to go back.

M. C.Spent 2 days in the Wyatt. Fully enjoyed the experience. Warm friendly welcome. Bedroom comfortable and all facilities available, tea/coffee tray etc, hair dryer, iron etc. Spacious en suite. Power shower, toiletries provided. Friendly and efficient service at dinner. Good options, personally would have preferred more fish options, other than shell fish. Lovely breakfast, piping hot and good variety. All covid regulations adhered to. Enjoyed the central location. Overall we had a very pleasant stay

W.The Wyatt has made considerable investments in the past few years, and used lockdowns wisely to extend and create more intimate seating areas in which to enjoy coffee / something a little stronger, and catch up with friends. They have managed successfully to give more room, but kept the unique intimate feel of this hotel, everything is done tastefully and well.
Friendly obliging staff, not overly attentive - just the right balance of being on hand when you need to order a refill, but not hovering.
Overall ideal spot for a relaxed coffee either with friends or on your own. Food is also very tasty!! Highly recommend.
L. I.I recently stayed in the Wyatt with my family on a trip to Westport to visit Santa which coincided with my daughter's 4th birthday. The staff in this hotel are amazing. They heard us talking about the birthday and gave my little girl a present....not only that but they gave my older daughter a gift too so she would not be left out. Kayleigh on reception is a fantastic front of house person and indeed all the Wyatt staff who looked after us could not have been nicer! Thank you for a lovely stay!

A. O.after cycling all the way from Derry in the biggest heatwave Ireland has ever seen , I was looking forward to my 1st bowl of sea food chowder of the trip. The Wyatt Hotel did not disappoint. €7.95 for a bowl full of fish and flavour, 2 slices of soda bread and butter. Would recommend
B.A bit dated but spotless. Staff very welcoming & efficient. Accommodated his with hour earlier check in. Dined there last night, chowder & brown bread was delish, lovely breakfast with cereals, granola, freshly made greek yogurt & berry compote, fruit, juices & pastries. Hot options plenty of choice rather than just the traditional Full Irish. Particularly delighted with grilled fish of the day option. So far so good. Great location also.... plenty of adventures to be had within an hours drive .... Achill Island today's trip...

Rooms are spotless, comfy and the atmosphere is so welcoming. Breakfast is so good and the location in the centre of Westport is perfect. Cobbler's Bar and Restaurant is a good spot for drinks and grub, indoor ( residents) and outdoor. I recommend the Wyatt experience highly and look forward to going back very soon.

The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Westport. The rooms are spacious and spotless. Restaurant and bar are trendy and the food is very tasty with a nice varied menu to choose from. The service in the hotel is the best I've experienced anywhere in Ireland. Genuine staff who go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable. Special mention to the restaurant manager who was very attentive and helpful and Ken at breakfast is a credit to the hotel. Will be back again very soon.

They have taken strict steps to combat COVID-19 and are successfully working around it without letting it impact the service.
Heard no noise whatsoever from other rooms or outside which is a big plus!
The car parking in the back is limited but they give you a ticket to park in the car park across the road if its full so that is okay.
The restaurant was very nice, great service and very reasonably priced. Food was 10/10 as well.
Definitely recommend.

F. O.Stayed here in Aug for a last minute break, it was the perfect stay in the perfect irish town. We were recognized and welcomed back by the manager which is a nice touch. We had booked a newer delux room which was perfectly appointed had a nice view to the rear towards Westport house. The shower in these rooms is probably the best I have ever experienced! We enjoyed some beers out front in the town square, G&T in the bar and a nice dinner, no Michelin star fare but very tasty and well presented. This is the epitome of a town square hotel and delivers great value with great service I possibly the best location in Ireland.

T.Let down by another hotel cancelling our booking on the morning of our expected evening arrival to Westport, so we were scrambling to find alternatives and found this in the same price range as our original booking - very glad we opted for this hotel. Super location on the main square in Westport, clearly has been upgraded within last couple of years as we didn't expect a hotel in such an old building would have such modern rooms/bathrooms. The shower was great. Spent two nights and had one breakfast at hotel, so didn't spend too much time at the hotel / interacting with staff as we were cycling the Great Western Greenway. Anyone we did interact with was very helpful. Breakfast was decent for €12.50 and service was fast. Would definitely stay again

P. J. T.Couldn't fault the place. The place was very busy with tours during our two day stopover so that says it all really. The food was excellent with good portions and a great choice on two menus. The breakfast was buffet and again couldn't fault it. There was a choice for every pallet and no limits. The room was a nice size and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was functional. The hotel's location is ideal for exploring Westport on foot. I'd have no problem recommending it.

Don't use the underground car park only about 8 spaces, and they don't say when full, and no where to turn around to get out.

Bar service was a bit hit and miss to be honest. Basic selection of drinks. Bloody Mary’s came with no celery or seasoning. They were left on the bar for us to come and pick up. Once the waiting staff started service was better. Good location. €€

We were on our honeymoon after our lockdown wedding and Aisling really went out of her way to ensure our meal and service was special. M.Very cute town. Wish we had more time. Too bad the hotel restaurant closes at 8:45! We all arrived at 9pm and would have loved some food, live music and drinks at our hotel. Seems silly to lose business. We had to spend our money else where.

A. A.Just back from a 3 day break at the Wyatt Hotel. We were looking for somewhere nice to celebrate our 32nd wedding anniversary & we weren't disappointed. The Wyatt Hotel is in a perfect location appropriately situated at the head of the town. Our room was very comfortable & the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was top class. The restaurant food was gorgeous and as the menu was the same, we always chose to dine in Cobblers Bar belonging to the hotel as we wanted to soak up the lovely atmosphere & chat to the other visitors & the friendly, welcoming staff. I would highly recommend the Wyatt Hotel. A beautiful hotel in a perfect location. We will definitely be back. No doubt about it.

Hotel was spotless and the staff very efficient and friendly. Breakfast was good but the fry I would only give 5 out of 10.
The parking is very limited so I had to park on the street which was free over the Bank Holiday weekend.

O. S. F.We just finished an most enjoyable stay at the Wyatt Hotel Mayo Ireland. We had an excellent time at the hotel and found the staff to be very professional and welcoming. Our 4 night reservation had a small problem with it where some room maintenance was required during our stay. Sean and Nadine at the front desk did an excellent job of resolving the issue. A "shout out" to them, as they are not only pleasant but clearly enjoy their profession. We would stay here again.

c. i.We had a double celebration (communion) for two boys ,from the moment we arrived the park terrace room was set up and all ready for our party.Tables were layed out lovely ,balloons on tables for the boys a kids table with treat bags very special thaught .
We settled in to a fabulous menu and fabulous food followed ,wonderfull staff very friendly and nothing was a problem for them.
Bellys full we enjoyed our drinks while our children were looked after with entertainment they really enjoyed all part of our package at no extra charge.
Really was a fabulous day every body enjoyed themselves ,highly recommend this hotel for any function where the guest comes first ,very friendly hotel ,great service and excellent value.

With its several reception areas of varying sizes , there is always a cosy corner in which to sit, relax,have a coffee , glass of wine .....read , chat with a friend /friends .
Then there is the bar area , not too long , therefore not too loud and another area , where it is really pleasant to enjoy a coffee or a drink nearby .
Several dining areas for snacks , lunch and dinner.....all comfortable and well designed .
For me , the fabulous selection of original artwork has always been a huge draw and a great credit to the hotel owner and his wife .
The location of course is superb .....walk outside the door and the beautiful town of Westport wraps itself around you ......first stop ..coffee at Christy's Harvest ......a totally unique experience , with a club type atmosphere , the most genial of hosts and a general exchange of thought , opinion , life and living.

No. 1 - staff.... so pleasent, friendly and helpful.
No. 2 - facilities... from excellent food, use of leisure centre and lovely rooms. No. 3 - location.... so central for the town of Westport. Great place to stay with kids, toddler and new baby on board and couldn't have felt more welcome. Will most certainly be back....
A. z.I came here with my family and it was such a nice hotel the people that worked in the hotel were so nice except this one lady with bob hair (at the front desk) she was so rude. I went to her and told her that I had a spider in my hotel room and she laughed at me and another time I went to tell her about a broken remote (which wasn't broken I just couldn't figure out how it works) and she said she'll send someone to come fix it and no one came. She was so useless. Apart from her the staff was so nice and helpful. The room was ok but I had the WORST internet ever and the room didn't really have lights apart from the lamps, which didn't really help. The food was amazing and the service is quick.

F.We were in Westport on business and it was too late to travel back to Dublin. I did a quick search on the web and found the Wyatt Hotel had the best prices. €65 for the room with breakfast @ €10 a head. It was a case of up to the room, freshen up and out to find something to eat. The room was quite large and well furnished with a large ensuite. Everything was very clean including the bathroom. However the room had black marks on the wall beside the bed which was slightly off putting. In fairness this was the only negative regarding our stay there. Breakfast was a nice experience the next morning with free papers and a fantastic selection of food. You place your order with the waiter for tea or coffee and toast and the rest is self service. You could feed yourself for the day if you so wished. Will stay again if the price is right.

Although you wouldn't need to leave the Wyatt as the food here is excellent and always a good atmosphere around the bar with entertainment also provided. Staff were excellent and very friendly. m. c.Stayed at the Wyatt on July 10th for 5 nights took our small dog with us and i was most impressed with the room, staff, food and hotel in general.You could walk out the front door and be in the hub of everything and the room we had at the back of the hotel was quiet and peaceful great for a good night sleep. the food was excellent and the staff went out of their way to make sure that everyone's needs were met and all was as it should be. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Westport and we will make a point of returning soon and bringing family members to enjoy the hospitality of the great hotel and staff. Thanks to all who helped make our holiday so great.
L. C.It just is what it is a 3 star . Under construction? Old as most are but no elegant.i would not travel this far north. No shops to speak of. Had a great step in shower though. Climbing in and out of high bathtubs is a pain at 73. This bathroom was brand new

M.The Wyatt is a lovely hotel on the Octagon in the heart of Westport. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the breakfast options are varied and delicious. The hotel is ideally located to explore all that Westport has to offer including Westport House, Murrisk, Croagh Patrick (with spectacular views of Clew Bay and its 365 islands from the summit), the many fine pubs and restaurants offering a great variety of food and drink, and various walking routes. It is also an ideal base to explore Achill Island, Balintubber Abbey, the Great Western Greenway, and the Wild Atlantic Way. The hotel is comfortable and the staff very friendly. The only downside is that parking particularly if the hotel is busy can be a problem.

H.Very cosy, nestling in the corner of the square in Westport with a statue of st Patrick on a very tall plinth outside, at the moment they are completing a restoration of the side facing the road and should be up and running in a few weeks. The hotel is popular with Dublin people and tourists from all over the world as it is a very modern hotel while still retaining its old world charm and it's in the middle of town and across the road is Westports ultra modern town hall with lots of great entertainment during the tourist season. The hotel bedrooms are very comfortable and the food very good as well, check it out, or check in when you are coming to Westport. Enjoy.
