A Signature is required to receive the order. Large Items and Bulk Items are exempt from Free delivery, as they require special handling. Delivery charge of ‘Large Items’ nationwide is only €15. (Multiple items are allowed for this price.) Woodie’s will use either An Post or an independent transport company for these deliveries. If you are not home, An Post will leave a calling card with details of the local Post Office where you can collect your order. While the independent transport company will contact you in advance of delivery. Delivery Charge of 'Bulky Items' is €50. These large items require special handling and so attract a higher charge. This will be notified to you at the checkout prior to you completing your purchase. Paint is now available for home delivery. If you are not happy with your choice, returns are possible to our stores only, as long as it is in the original, unopened and undamaged packaging. Only one ‘Delivery Charge’ will apply per online order. If you buy a €5 delivery item and a €15 delivery item, the €15 delivery charge will apply. *‘Delivery Charge’ on products is based primarily on weight but the dimensions and type of product will also affect the delivery charge.

Well stocked for all DIY needs with some good brand names available. Somewhat more expensive than wholesaler prices but alot better for general public with longer opening hours. Great range of garden plants and accessories.

Bought a flower pot from here and they told me to leave as I cant skate through there on my skateboard. The situation got a little escalated and I walloped the lady working behind the till because she told me to leave. She wasn't very happy about this and ran away. Flower pot was fine and the service was s@#€&#€t 3 stars 👍

Good range of products but very expensive so you can't buy much for €50. (eg. spray paints over €15 and plastic plant pots €19 each) No trollies available in-store so you have to go back outside if you decide to pick up larger items. Staff do their job but I've found most don't make an effort to be friendly or converse with customers like staff do in other stores in the retail park. They talk freely among themselves while serving you at the till though.. No one in outside garden area to help lift heavy items so I couldn't buy what I wanted. Customer Service is lacking I'm afraid. Free parking outside. Everything is laid out well.

I visited Woodies to get weed-killer to use on my path and non green areas around my house which seem to attract weeds. I bought a small disposable container of the product and told the assistant that I had a much larger but non disposable container of the same product which I was never able to open and she told me to bring it in to see what they could do.I intend returning on Monday and I look forward to the outcome. Had a really nice experience shopping at Woodie's Dundalk store yesterday thanks to Deborah McCann. I caught the attention of Deborah as she was passing while she was assisting an elderly couple, and true to her word she came back and found me in the store to help me with information on their garden furniture. Deborah was extremely helpful but also very friendly. I will definitely be recommending family and friends shopping at Woodie's to ask for Deborah McCann. She's a star thanks Deborah

Yesterday I went into woodies in dundalk and could not say enough about the excellent service we were provided with by Deborah Mc Cann. She went totally out of her way to ensure we got the items we were seeking. Totally good manared and professional in her work. If you go to woodies ask to speak to Deborah. Nice shop, even better after renovation. You can get there loads of building and decorating materials, many starter tools, equipment and PPE as well as impressive range of gardening products and plants. Also you can order helium balloons and events decorations there. And also you can get your door keys copy cut.

Easy to find at Dundalk Retail Park. There is plenty of parking. The store is spacious and well laid out. It can be a little bit difficult to find some items if you don't know the layout of the store, but I have found the staff very helpful over the years that I have been going here. It caters for most building, gardening, and DIY products, with a selection of household products available also. I have found them to have an excellent returns / after sales policy. During the winter months, the shop floor area can be quite cold, and there are regularly cars pulling up in front of the store, which can at times inhibit those cars leaving the carpark.

Big shop with huge potential but..... Honestly , not my favorite place for shopping. Of course this shop has plenty DIY "stuff"in stock.... However , most time price tags on shelf differ from prices at the cashier till, if you make payment by card it will still appear on you bank statement with name "Atlantic DIY" store. Which by the fact not existing about 9 years or so.... BTW sometimes you can actually find item on shelf with old "Atlantic" price tag on it.... Don't get me wrong , this place is probably useful if you stuck in the middle of the work on Saturday afternoon. I'm only visiting this shop sometimes, for special offers or to purchase flower plants etc. Why? Because : bit messy place , mostly overpriced, lack of staff, old stock on shelf's..... If you are professional , you know where to go in Dundalk to not "get ripped off"on small pack of screws for example. I have to confess I was shopping several times in Woodie's Drogheda....totally different place ,in good meaning. So sorry in this case only 3 stars.

It's a bit of a hit and miss in this store, not like the one in Drogheda. I went to buy a bag of fertilizer. The guy at the till asked if I would like someone to carry it in to the back of my car, I said yes. He told me to pull up my car to the front of the store, which I did, and waited, and waited and waited and waited. I had to go back in to the store to ask what was happening. The same guy asked the assistant to use the bag on display ( to save him going to the gardening centre for a fresh one). When he lifted the bag of fertilizer, it was busted with a hugh hole on the side of it, so he ended going all the way to the back of the store to the gardening centre to get a fresh one anyway, which he should have done in the first place. I also went in to bells for a cat collar, and found only dog products and very very little cat products. I ended up going to the pet centre 2 doors down.
