E. O. K.Beautiful hotel with friendly staff. Lovely clean rooms and it's situated perfectly for shops pubs etc. Only downside was our dinner the night we arrived. In the warehouse we were seated away from everyone else beside an open window . It was a cold night and when asked to close it the waitress said she couldn't but moved us nearer the bar ( along with people ) she took our order but it came bk wrong and it was cold. When we saw another waiter we complained but by this time it was half eaten. He apologized and said it was the waitress first week and it was taken off the bill but we were left hungry and everywhere else was booked up so we had a burger. Lovely hotel but we'll give the restaurant a miss
v. m.A great place spotlessly clean, good food and not overly priced and staff are really friendly. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars from reception to the 3rd floor you take a lift to the 2nd floor and a different one to the third but I ended up just going up the flight of stairs my excuse for exercise. Would recommend it.

The main reception area is very pleasing and well set out, it's location is excellent for access to all the pubs and restaurants in Letterkenny.
The carpets in the corridors leading to the bedrooms needs replacing and some of the furnishings in the rooms are a bit tired looking.
The beds are very comfortable and certainly the rooms are all very clean
We really enjoyed our stay, a little expensive considering the things I've just mentioned.

Everyone loved the decor and the personalised finishing touches also. The staff couldn't do enough and went above and beyond. R. G.We were 3 motorcyclists touring Donegal and used the hotel as our base.The price was excellent value, rooms were clean and well equipped. Staff were pleasant and food was good in the bar at night and buffet breakfast was surprisingly good considering all the changes following covid restrictions etc. Free parking in the covered car park was a pleasant surprise. In fairness i couldn't fault the place. The corporate deal incl breakfast and dinner for €75 for a single room is hard to beat. I'll definitely be back and happy to reccommend this place to anyone.
P. S.Great hotel. Spotlessly clean and rooms well equipped. Breakfast delicious.Staff were outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. Reception staff went "over and beyond " especially Oonagh, Caitlin and Sarah. Willl be back soon.

N. M.Stayed recently, very central within letterkenny! Very modern hotel and really clean! Sister hotel of Clanree so good you can use facilities at clanree for free! Definitely a perk. Breakfast was nice also each morning however also good breakfast spots nearby.

The Buffet breakfast is great with all your favs available.The rooms are spacious and clean but sadly my room was cold. I struggled with the heating until I was moved to a different room on my last day. This made me to totally hate my stay there and sadly I might not go back as the experience was not the nicest.
k. p. C.Missing them little touches, no bottles water water in the room, there was a drinks machine in the stairwell but a small bottle cost €2. Left us short soap first morning and towels second morning and when we phoned reception for fresh towels it took 20 minutes to get them delivered. To have a bath you had to keep your foot on the stopper to prevent the water from running out.
Bar and bar food was lovely, great selection of spirits and lovely decor. I would recommend this hotel for a lads weekend away but for a romantic break there are far nicer hotels for the price.

Arrived and weren't happy to have a room right beside the lifts as we could hear every bit of movement in and out of it so asked reception if we could change. No problems at all and they helped us change room in a matter of minutes. Connected to a nice bar with good food and drinks and a range of entertainment on throughout the week.

One of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever had, pillows past there use by date though.
Food was lovely, let down by coffee. I only drink coffee and at times it was undrinkable, but that is a personal thing.

S. P.The hotel was great value for money and the rooms themselves are lovely but our room faced a block wall and was very warm and stuffy. The WH restaurant food varied. I ordered the same thing a second night because there was nothing else I liked on the menu and they were two totally different dishes. There isn't one standard meal on the menu that has meat, potatoes and 2 veg... everything has chips with it! Having said that, under current circumstance, some restaurant facilities were closed due to Covid-19 restrictions so maybe better food options would have been available had they been open. The hotel assured in their confirmation booking email that all service staff would change PPE wear after a full clean down of every room but this did not happen and about 20% of the staff had their masks under their nose which was of little or no use in protecting guests.
Overall, we had a lovely stay and we would go back again in giving the benefit of the doubt on the food front.

A.I went to the hotel as an emergency during my trip to Ireland, the hotel was very clean and tidy, I have got a room with a King bed and a really big room for only one person, I went down for dinner to the bar section and I had prior pri chicken burger and it was very delicious just price little bit high.
Staff from reception, bar and restaurant are very friendly and nice.
I kept my bags to the hotel the next day as I have to leave the city late afternoon without any problem but they don't have a security section specifically for that reason but I trust them.
Highly recommended for tourist or anyone around to stay or enjoying a meal or even drink.

Didn't want Lava Stone cooked streaks (much prefer someone to cook it for me), chef said that not a problem + it was cooked to profection. Didn't much care for the buffet breakfast (never had a great one anywhere), better to have it cooked when ordered + a bit noisy late at night, was in front room & could hear the main Street. Maybe triple glazing would help but then maybe that's just the way busy towns R. If Ur up that way stay here

M. M.Rooms good. Breakfasts? Fry was iffy but rest if breakfast was lovely. Bar food great. Staff are great, very friendly and helpful. I'm dairy intolerant and waiter and chef went out of their way to make sure I could have a sweet. I usually have to watch everyone else ! Will stay again but might go room only! Sorry guys, that was the only down side.
P. M.Stayed here for a belated anniversary. Caroline and her staff went above and beyond to make us feel very welcome, unfortunately due to a family emergency our stay was cut short, the staff where very helpfull in getting us checked out very quickly and even offered a refund for the night that we would miss out on. (we declined due to the great service that had been provided). Great Hotel, great service and brilliantly run by the staff team.Now for the food breakfast was super plenty of choice, we had 2 meals in the Warehouse. Fillet steak on the stone 10/10 I would really recommend this never tasted steak so good, also had a sunday lunch which was delicious too. Great atmosphere in the hotel and bar. 5 STARS. Hopefully we will be able to return in the near future and finish our weekend. Rooms very clean and well furnished, staff offer to clean rooms on a daily basis. Cant fault this hotel at all. WELL DONE
t. o. d.Was disappointed with our stay on Saturday night was so looking forward to it and had high expectations. When we arrived the car park was full and drove around town twice to get a parking space behind Aib bank. When inside reception wasn't very friendly or welcoming. We had to get two lifts to room hadn't a clue where we were going. Arrived at our room which was two steps in front of the lift so noise all night with people coming and going. Room was very clean but nothing special. Breakfast in morning was cold and nothing great. But staff were friendly. Hotel is in great location for a night out in Letterkenny but will I stay again probably not.
D. S.+ Decent rooms and pricing, Convenient location, you can use swimming pool and spa at their sister hotel at no extra charge (approx 2 miles away), there is also a hotel bar with live music and decent pricing
- was a little disappinted with the breakfast. The selection was not very big and some of the foods didn't feel fresh (especially the hash brown and bacon)
K. K.Stayed here on a business meeting. The staff on the front desk were very helpful letting me check in early when i explained to them I wasn't feeling well. The room itself was very comfortable so I have no complaints there. I had an evening meal, it was ok, nothing to rave about, if staying again I would probably go to the yellow pepper down the street or la fantasia. Breakfast was fine, it filled me until well after 1pm. I would stay again if on business but would forgo the restaurant and eat somewhere in town.
E. F.Very tired rooms. Front of house was clean and respectable. But the room I stayed in had a carpet that was stained and worn looking. The bed was comfortable but the furniture needs replacing and a more modern tv would be needed. Who uses a 20inch tv these days?
M. A.Welcoming reception area. Room average hotel rooms. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. There was renovations going on during stay but minimal noise or fuss. It did mean that carpets were a bit dusty in places but due to work and renovations This was to be expected.
D. D.Just dropped in for coffee and to find a quiet spot to reply to emails. Courteous staff, excellent social distancing and hand sanitising in lobby, plus good coffee... and reasonably priced too.

Scrambled eggs were a congealed stodgy.mess swimming in liquid cheap catering bacon poorly cooked and presented. You could get much better for half the price in a cafe.

S.Staff are excellent...couldn't do enough for you...the hotel from front is gorgeous, the rooms are at the back so the views are not good, carpark, side of houses ect...our first bedroom was yuk. .when I complained I was moved straight away, 2nd room spotless...inside hotel theirs 2 lifts, can get lost very easily...inside .i book hotel because had own carpark. I know Letterkenny it is very difficult for parking...you are NOT guaranteed a car parking space, I had to park miles away outside someone's house one evening..not happy as I was with my child. I noticed staff park in car park....overall for what we paid was great..not sure I'd stay again..chair & bathroom rail pictures was first room. Hotel front (redcar)

I was particularly impressed by the in house bar which had really nice food and a modern contemporary style about it I imagine it would be a great place for a night out (not for me as I was staying for business)
unfortunately one of the lifts was broken when I stayed no problem but for someone with mobility issues it could have been a problem

The television in the room had a limited number of channels which I put down to the fact that being so close to the border there must be tuning problems but the free wifi gave me the chance to watch Netflix with no issue
So all in all a very nice place to stay and I'd recommend if your looking for a place to rest your head in Letterkenny

p. m.I recently had surgery on my left foot last week .I was due to visit Letterkenny this weekend and stay at this wonderful Hotel for 4 nights with my partner but my surgery
prevented me from travelling on a Groupon deal . I phoned as I thought I would have to cancel but michaela
And the manager phoned me back and said I could change dates to June I would like to thank the Staff very much for this as it shows Irish hospitality at its best .

K. M.Interesting variety of food available here, they've got some rather interesting dishes to try. Had the pulled pork burger, the juices made the bun quite soggy but the home made bun was lovely anyway.

C.This is my second visit in the past few weeks to McGettigans stayed again for 5 nights .. just love this hotel set in the center of Letterkenny with wi-fi throughout, car parking and where all the staff are so welcoming and friendly ..bedrooms are big and well furnished with tv and a safe ...the bathroom is well equipped with a change of towels daily and toiletries .. breakfast is very good taken in the restaurant with a very good choice of cereals, juices, and a continental or full Irish.. the adjoining "Warehouse Bar and Kitchen" is really great for drinks and fabulous food ..you will not leave hungry . Look forward to my next stay at McGettigans..
