a. b.Have to say rare I leave a review but I'm only after having a baby 3 days ago.And all the staff in the labour ward wouw amazing people.Such a nice experience compare to my first one 6 years ago( nightmare) After care is brilliant too.Very impressed with the hospital and really generous staff.Thank you.

A. D.The staff and the doctor was so good. My daughter had very bad eczema I went in to emergency in portlaoise. She was all in pain the doctor who was with us was so good and nurses was so nice to us. I wanna say big thank you to them how amaizing they were.

P.Whipped in immediately through A and E with a Hydropneumothorax..... Air and fluid released straight away and drain inserted. Cool as cucumbers, methodical and quick at the same time.
Fantastic teams and immensely professional throughout.
It would be impossible to praise ALL the staff enough. Thank you everyone at Midland Regional in Portlaoise.

M. F. K.My daughter Aveen had an appointment in the paediatric unit today with a lovely doctor called Dr. Muhammad Tariq. He was just "AMAZING" with her, he listened, I never felt at any stage the appointment was been rushed, he took his time with her, Very caring, 100% professional. I Would 100% highly recommend him for any child 👶🧒👱♀️

J. G.Née Janet Grundy, fantastic hospital, staff kind and efficient, outpatient as well as inpatient departments. The clinics are also very well run with staff who put a patient at ease before they have to see a consultant. The consultants are very approachable and willing to listen to and answer all questions. I am often to be heard singing the praises of Portlaoise Hospital.
M. “. Z.There are not enough words to describe gratitude we have towards all the staff in maternity word of Portlaoise hospital.
My wife received best possible care from the time she became pregnant, through the last couple of days prior delivery and after the birth of our baby daughter.
The doctors, nurses and all staff on maternity word are very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and it’s hard to imagine better place if you require medical assistance.
If you are thinking about expanding your family and live in the area do not waste your time, do not go to Dublin. Stay in Portlaoise so you do not have to travel to visit your wife or girlfriend when she needs you. She will be very well looked after.

You are all amazing, if only the government put as much money into the HSE as you special people put into the care you take to treat people with dignity, effort, enthusiasm we would have enough funding to give everyone a bed and the treatment they need. K.My partner and our nine yr old son were up visiting relatives in dublin yesterday and on our way driving doqn the motorway i fell very ill,we were so lucky that this hospital was near the attention and care i recieved there was amazing especially from one nurse in particular ynfortunately i didnt get her name and i truly wish i had,she made me so at ease as i told her i was vert nervous patient and she brought tea and toast out to me and my family and her caring so sincere ,because we were traveling back to cork where i am from she asked the doctors could they c me faster but i understood their were other patients there before me and as we were leaving she gave my son a little teddy bear which he loves,if that particular nurse reads this i want to thankyou from the bottom of my heart fir everything you did for me n my familt lastnite you are a true angel n i will never forget the caring and understanding you gave me thankyou again.
