S. K.Gorgeous little boutique hotel with a lot of class & style. Lovely staff. Seriously comfortable beds with great pillows. Large bathroom and shower. Best of all was the food. Both breakfast and dinner were gorgeous. Pastries all made in house. Definitely fighting above its weight. A nice find and we’ll definitely be back.

During our stay my son had a minor incident which required a trip to the local accident and emergency department. The whole team was so helpful and caring. Thank you Nick for driving us. I can't express my appreciation enough for the genuine help and kindness we were shown. I'm very much looking forward to going back for a less eventful visit. Exceptional consideration was extended to us.

Liked that we were asked for our covid pass when we went into the lounge for a pre dinner drink. Will certainly be back again.

I.Excellent food. Service was efficient and friendly. Quite expensive, clientele tend to be wealthy locals. I would say this place might be ideal for special occasions. Car park was full when we arrived so book early to avoid disappointment.

M. M.Just enjoyed a delightful lunch on their revamped outdoor terrace. It was the first time I have been "out to lunch" since mid-March & I was hugely impressed at all of the efforts & safety considerations that Gleesons have put in place given the current public health issues. The great food here is something to which we had been accustomed. Top marks for the many measures they have installed. Lovely, professional & friendly staff too
M. G.We recently enjoyed a dinner, bed & breakfast package with Gleesons and would like to thank all the staff for making this a lovely treat. Special mention to Aisling who was so kind and welcoming.
We were impressed with the cleanliness of the premises with hand sanitisers throughout. We felt very safe and protected.
Our room was lovely with a great view to the bay. Decor in the hotel was tasteful and cosy with fires lighting.
Dinner was delicious and I particularly enjoyed the pate. Breakfast was also top quality with good selections. My french toast with bacon was very good. Staff were attentive and friendly and followed safety guidelines.
We finished our visit with a wander around the on-site mini market where we bought some brown bread (best ever) and some other treats.
We really enjoyed our short and much needed break and will be back again hopefully soon for another treat night out.

B. K.The food is pretty good, 4/5 maybe? The Guinness is good too! I have been coming in and out for over 7 years now having lived and worked in the area. However I must say that every single time I am here the service is exceptionally poor. All waiters and waitresses are completely ambivalent to customers while at their table. No-one is seating customers right now during covid times and trying to get a bill delivered is like trying to hail a cab in the rain at 2 am :)
Overall you should come here (yes, I'm sitting here now, still waiting on the bill...) but please please please train your staff to pay more attention to customers. It is the only reason I sometimes avoid coming here.
A. B.From the moment we arrived we were greeted in a very friendly and professional manner. Our room was a very spacious and modern and spotlessly clean . Coffee machine and kettle were provided and even a small bottle of hand sanitizer. The food and service in the restaurant were excellent and overall I would recommend this Hotel to everybody.
K. K. J.I thought long and hard about leaving this review, but only because I’m afraid too many people will discover this wonderful little hotel and I won’t be able to get a room here again. I have to say that this hotel is FANTASTIC!! There is not one complaint I have about it. The rooms are well priced, immaculate clean and nicely decorated. The showers were pristine and the water pressure was great. The room was large and I could control the temperature (I like it very cool when I go to sleep). The restaurant was adorable and the food there was delicious. To top it all off, this Hotel had the nicest, most accommodating staff that I have ever encountered in Ireland. And that says a lot because I find Irish people to be absolutely delightful.
Anyway, the bottom line is that the Gleason has one of the best little boutique hotels in Dublin. I can’t imagine anybody regretting staying here. I think it will be my go-to Dublin hotel from here on out. I would give them more stars if I could!!!

L. K.Oh my goodness! I love gleesons when I'm able to go under normal circumstances but tonight I ordered chicken wings for delivery from their service and it was amazing! So easy to order, arrived exactly on time with a lovely delivery man and the food was unbelievable! The wings were gorgeous and we asked for extra celery and dip which were all there, I was hesitant about their chips but they proved me wrong! It was all SO good, couldn't rate them high enough!
O. O.The food was great, we ordered the crab fish starter and the gleesons’ smoked fish as a starter. Both were great but the smoked fish was boiling hot and I wasn’t warned beforehand and I burnt my mouth quite badly. The mains were great but the waitress seemed overworked and got my order wrong and had to bring another.
The barman was also INCREDIBLY rude to me and demanded I wear a mask when walking to the bathroom. I asked the waitress about the bathroom before going and she mentioned nothing about this bizarre rule. I’ve never had to wear a mask in a restaurant whilst in Dublin. When I told him that I hadn’t been informed about this, he was even MORE hostile and said there were signs(?? Signs that I never saw). If it’s of that much importance-tell your staff to inform people so we’re not yelled at in front of other eating customers. It was humiliating and very unnecessary. Would come again for the food but wear a mask when you need to go to the loo, otherwise you might get publicly harangued!

It is a little way out of Dublin town centre, but we'll worth a visit, as Dart railway only 3 minute walk.

C. T.Not only is this one of the best pubs and eateries in the Booterstown area it is also now a fine provider of accommodation. The rooms are bright and airy with a crisp decor which is also restful. The room has all the mod cons one would expect in a 4 star hotel. All very reasonably priced. The dining facilities for the staying guests are in the pub / restaurant downstairs. Very good selection on offer for breakfast, including the ubiquitous full Irish which is very "full".
A very plesent stay recently which included watching the mid morning rugby from the Rugby World Cup in Japan. Great athmosphere during the match.

M. H.This is a kind of local pub for ladies and gentlemen who lunch. It's for the smartish set who don't go to the Gables all the time. There is a great familiar menu. Some people go for the daily roast, which is always good. The plaice is lovely. And the lamb's liver and bacon great on a cold day. They don't mind giving you extra spoons to share the delicious roulade dessert. A real home from home for its regular clientele.

Very close to Blackrock Clinic or if you are in the area this is a good place for lunch, and there is a car park at the rear.
