Best hotel I've stayed in Dublin for the price, I can guess it will get higher but as far as they keep these prices this is just the proper hotel to book!

Amazing. Nice decor and friendly staff. Great coffee shop too. Can't wait for the food to start. Close.to croke park. And twenty mins walk to town. Buses outside though. There is also the city bikes outside so u can cycle in and leave the bike in town. Very convenient. Botanic gardens is nearby and the Eatyard. Would deffo visit again. Thought for the price was excellent. Trendy modern hotel.

(Translated) Very nice brand new hotel.
The rooms are small but very well equipped and decorated.
The staff is kind and attentive to the customer.
Arrivals and departures are made with a self-service terminal. Very nice !
Only downside, the shower: no pressure and the water is not always hot (lukewarm almost cold).

The hotel looks modern, but we experienced some negative things. There was a buzzing sound all day/night in our room. The bed was along two walls, so that one of us had to climb in. The breakfast was a la cart and apart from the pancakes it was very small for the money they ask for it. The orange juice came on the rocks and so was diluted after a while and lost its taste. The coffee didn't taste well, but we found out the the Irish aren't very good coffee makers in general. Better to order tea. Because we had to wait long to check in, our breakfast was on the house, so service is good. However we went to a nearby Coffee House for breakfast the following days. Location is excellent, just outside the city centre but near a bus stop. Easy to reach by bus from the airport and easy to get to the city centre by bus from there.

These hotel rooms are quite small. The bed is against one side of the wall. Not a lot of space for two people to hang out or open a larger suitcase. The bathroom is spacious and the Rituals products are a nice touch. It's not in a touristy part of town. Wasn't an issue for us. It was about a 25 minute walk to Temple Bar area. Rooms were clean.

I recently stayed at your hotel over the weekend I never ever write reviews but I’m so pleased with Bruno on reception, I would just like to highlight how amazing Bruno is he really needs applauding for his effort, smile and the overall quality of customer service he displays I’ll definitely be back for the reason of Bruno the atmosphere he creates is amazing, so big thank you to him I hope you guys let him know his hard work isn’t unnoticed! Great asset to the hotel

Overall my one night stay was great and wished I could stay more nights
Costumer service was of highest of standards. The manager at their botanical restaurant was excellent.
The food was to die for and brought in a timely manner
Front desk is extremely helpful and courteous
The rooms are clean, spacious and the beds are extremely comfortable and you’ll fall quickly asleep from the amazing comfortably.
I highly recommend the stay here for families couples and singles.

Just one thing. The walls are made out of paper?? We had people coffing in the next room and it was really annoying. When the room next to us pulled up their blinds it was basically the same as if i had done so in my room. Get some high quality earplugs. Room small but nice and clean.
L. P.
The room and the location of the hotel was good, price rather high. Room maintenance has to be requested which I find okay, but actually I would expect a lower rate then if you don't use that service. Quite annoying is the constant messaging over booking.com and WhatsApp!!
L. W.
The receptionists are very welcoming and helpful. Its a very clean and comfortable hotel. Bus link to city centre and airport; just around the corner.

The staff of hotel greeted me with warmth and genuine hospitality. Their polite and attentive service truly made me feel welcome and appreciated. The hotel's localization is superb, offering easy access to all the attractions and amenities the area has to offer. And as for the rooms, they are incredibly cozy. One of the highlights of my stay at this hotel was the delicious breakfasts included in the price of the booked room.

Very nice hotel, cosy rooms, toiletries in the bathroom. Walking distance from the centre (25-30 min), convenient connection with the airport (by Dublin Bus) - bus stop 2 min from the hotel.
Good restaurant serving delicious breakfast (also vegan options available) with very friendly and welcoming staff member Marija - she took good care of all the guests and the outstanding atmosphere in the restaurant.
B.
Lovely clean room .Bed was very confortable
and breakfast was lovely and reasonable priced. At the check out on Tuesday morning the lady could of been a bit nicer while we were leaving the room key back.

I had a great time at Dublin One.
Rooms are clean and comfy. The service people were very helpful and friendly. Maria one of their staff was very welcoming.
The food at the restaurant was very good, with vegan and healthy options.
Definitely, I will come back next time I'm at Dublin.
M. H.
Hotel Dublin One exceeded our expectations in every way, with its excellent cousine, lovely staff and great location. Our stay was truly wonderful, especially thanks to Maria, one of the staff members.

I recently stayed at a hotel with some of the friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered. They went above and beyond to make sure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with all the amenities I needed. The atmosphere of the hotel was warm and welcoming, and I felt right at home from the moment I arrived. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Due to Storm Isha cancelling multiple flights for us to return home (to Leeds) we was put into accommodation at Dublin One hotel for 2 nights. There was many of us that has cancelled flights and they handled the situation very well. We was met with such a welcoming, helpful service and this consisted throughout our stay here. The food is amazing here, I feel lucky to have had the pleasure to taste such beautiful foods! Massive thanks to the chef! Thank you to David too, who has made me feel very at ease and helped with any queries I had. (Had to dine alone - with my hearing impairment and my friend being unwell, I was anxious) He was very patient, lovely and understanding. I’m so grateful for your help. The hotel is beautiful, stunning, very clean and professional. I would 100% recommend visiting here and I will if I ever come to Dublin again.

The staff are absolutely excellent. I stay every week and they could the nicer. Ellie Anna, Davide, Amy and the rest of the team. They are a credit to the business.
Working in the Mater the hotel is a great convenience. And to have such a great quality hotel with excellent rooms is absolutely brilliant. I couldn’t recommend the hotel enough.

Very stylish modern hotel 25 minutes walk from the centre of Dublin. Receptionist was lovely. Our room is very pleasant and clean with everything you need. Our only negative is the distance we walked into town as it was a wet weekend but I think that is reflected in the price. It would have been a lot more if we had been closer, but taxis are plentiful. Had a lovely weekend.
L. U.
Beautifully decorated which was a good first impression 😊 rooms were cosy & the beds were really comfy! I did find this hotel quite expensive for 2 people for only 3 nights. The rooms were a bit small & quite noisy (due to other guests) they were very loud, slamming doors & I could even hear them using their switches - the walls must be paper thin.
The food in the restaurant was reasonably good although every piece of meat we ate was tough & chewy? I've never had roast beef cooked like a well done steak?!
There are shops etc nearby but anything you wanted to see such as the zoo was at least a 15 minute drive.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Dublin One Hotel. Staff was friendly, welcoming and always helpful. The rooms were very modern and super clean. Breakfast was amazing. The location also was perfect, with the bus stop right around the corner to go anywhere in Dublin (including the airport). I will definitely come back here for my next vacation in Dublin!
E.
I had a great stay at Dublin One. The room was just what I expected, and despite the fact that it faced the street, was very quiet.
The hotel is really well located, less than 4km from all the interesting things to do in Dublin (including the city center).
The staff were very welcoming and always smiling, thank you!
D. H.
Lovely hotel in a great location. The restaurant was great too - nice and chill. The chicken and chorizo linguini is really tasty, the perfect amount of spice.
David in reception has been a great help - he is very welcoming and very accommodating. I would certainly stay again and would recommend also. Thank you for a lovely stay.
R. B.
Had a great experience and stay with Dublin one, Nara and Bruno were great and cared for us tremendously.
Would highly recommend a stay here.

Great hotel. A.bit out of town but nice walk. Rooms were.great, service was great.
T. C.
Very clean rooms and hotel. The location is very central to Dublin city centre. The people on Reception were very helpful and nice.
I. L.
The room was nice and the staff we met were nice and helpful. The bar/restaurant was very good and convenient. The only downside was the noise, we could hear everything, every door slam, toilet flush, conversation and general noise and banging, the windows were not great so could hear everything from the street too. The cleaners in the other rooms woke us up with noise every morning, very early before our alarms went off. Very frustrating. I unfortunately would not stay again due to this factor.

Everything about this place is great. Will definitely be back. Enjoyed our weekend there. The staff are absolutely brilliant and are a credit to the business.

Me and my friend were there for breakfast on Saturday. The place is amazingly comfortable and food is more than good. The staff was really lovely, Paula gave us a very good service, always with a smile in her face.
We'll definitely be back soon.
J. K.
The rooms are fine and modern, the bed and pillow are comfortable. However, absolutely no storage space, there is a small ledge above the bed for the night. The area is rather spooky and about a 15 minute walk into town. It was quiet at night despite the road in front of it, however you don't want to be out at night in the area (especially off the main road). few places to eat in the area, supermarket around the corner is handy though.
The system at breakfast is a disaster - had I known this I would not have booked it. You never get what is on the menu (it looks different and ingredients are missing). You are only allowed to order ONE coffee OR tea. The ordering takes too long, the waiting time for the food too. So you always have to plan about 45 minutes, which was too long for us to go to town or the supermarket hungry and thirsty afterwards.
M. V.
Got a great price and was very happy with the offerings. Location is great for walking or taking public transport. Very easy to access from the airport (15 minutes by bus). Hotel restaurant was decent, loved the coffee/grab and go section at the entrance. Staff was friendly and room was perfect for what we needed. Definitely not a very large room offering but for two people who wanted to spend most of the time out and about, couldn't have been better for us! Only reason for 4 stars was lack of shuttle service and no pool/hot tub amenity. We would definitely recommend this place and book again!
L. S.
Had a Christmas lunch here. Gorgeous interior and helpful staff who couldn't for enough for us. Wine was lovely and my starter and dessert were nice but my main of turkey/ham was dry, to the point of being inedible. However my companions enjoyed their choices (fish and the risotto) so perhaps I was just unlucky during a busy Christmas lunch. Nice coffee and helpful staff.
E. S.
Have stayed at the hotel twice. The hotel is modern and contemporary for a reasonable price comparing to other places. There is a bus stop just around the corner which makes the ability to explore Dublin even easier. Definitely, will come back next time.
J. A. T.
Odd way to check in but didn’t mind it. The rooms weee super clean and the bathroom was surprisingly large. It’s not too far from the main part of the city and it was very doable by foot or by very frequent bud service right on the corner of the street. Overall had a really good time here would 100% return next time I’m in Dublin.

Zakaria down in the restaurant was really nice and he was very welcoming and he made sure we r perfectly okay im amazed how people could give u the exact perfect service u need
L. B.
Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Bed/pillow/duvet exceptionally comfortable. Very quiet room (important when jet lagged). Breakfast was included in our rate, and there was a great selection and HUGE portions (they were happy to pack up the extras for me too). Staff from reception to cleaners to restaurant servers were all friendly and earnestly helpful. My only very minor complaints: I found the price to be high but it was due to a concert scheduled for the weekend of our stay which caused a price surge across the city. Secondly, it’s a bit of a walk (15-20 min) to the main touristy parts of Dublin.
K.
Truly perfect for our stay in Dublin. The food was wonderful and the rooms provided us with enough comfort for a short stay. The staff was also incredibly polite and professional. The area this hotel is located isn’t necessarily known as the best neighborhood but we didn’t run into any trouble. It’s a little bit out of the way from the main areas in Dublin but thankfully the taxi rides are short. We rented a car and we’re able to park it in the hospitals parking garage (< a quarter mile or 400m away).
D. B.
Flight was cancelled so the airport put up up at the Dublin One. David was our server and went out of his way to please. He was amazing, friendly, and made our ‘not so enjoyable’ stay very enjoyable.

As a customer of the big tree Michael Collins is an extremely popular and class barman not only to locals but for every one that comes in.He is always welcoming, inviting and always has a smile on his face. Great pints and always accommodating, and great food from the hotel staff super menu 👏
N. A.
Room were small but clean and efficient.
No space at all for clothing.
A smell of dirty water was going through the whole week and we never been apologise to or explained why.
In the room at some hours and from the moment u enter the lobby the smell hit hard.
The best experience came surprisingly from the coffee shop, ladies remembering our orders and super nice and welcoming.
Service from restaurant / hotel team not so much.
Housekeeping though, super nice ladies , room was always PERFECT thanks a lot.
Food was a mixed experience during our stay.
Brunch - super nice 🥰
Lunch - a big disappointment
Dinner - nice.
Overall, a good experience but might not be a first choice in the future but will come back as a customer for the brunch happily

The food and service here has been very impressive. The staff worked incredibly hard to make everyone comfortable and were so professional. We are grateful to have accommodations here!!

After winning tickets from #todayfm and looking forward to post Christmas break with some retail therapy a bit of theatre at the bord gas this January, my wife and I were super excited to visit the lovely hotel . A small bit of miscommunication at the outset led to some embarrassment and frustration for us but as it was a prize we looked past it and made the most of the wonderful surroundings. Right beside croke park and the botanical gardens and a 10 min walk to O'Connell street . The food was excellent. I'd recommend a stay there .
R. M.
Really nice place to stay. The restaurant proposes awesome breakfasts and rooms are cozy and functional. Digital check-in/out is possible (2 Terminals are against the entrance). Only the way to the very center of Dublin is little too far and the hood near the hotel looks way too depressive...
F. S.
Lovely clean rooms and amenities. Comfortable beds. Very friendly and helpful staff. Close to the centre to be able to walk. Tasty food at dinner and breakfast. Great coffee. Would recommend!
O. S.
Very efficient check in, room was of OK size, the bed was very comfortable, and both room and bathroom were clean. Sound proofing between room fairly poor, heard the alarm go off in the neighboring room. And the "faux" Asian ceramic stool was far from comfortable. Still, would come back
S. S.
We stayed at Dublin One during a trip to Ireland. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The restaurant food was excellent and our server, Anthony, was fabulous! I would recommend the hotel and restaurant!
B. R.
New hotel on the north side of Dublin. Quite cool and clean, Rituals toiletries. Staff were professional and helpful.
The location was okay (20 min drive from airport) but be wary if travelling on a tight deadline as it's a good 30 min walk to central. We ended up taking lots of taxi rides back and forth.
For the price we paid, lack of tea/coffee and still water in the room was disappointing. We had an early tour so we were up around 6 am and the cafe/restaurant wasn't open, couldn't get a hot drink anywhere.
B. K.
Great location to all amenities and staff were lovely very friendly always coming over for a chat breakfast was great too. Great price for what I paid. Will definitely be back, thank you
J. K.
Not really worth the price they're charging. Checking in is a joke. Kiosks do not work and staff have little knowledge of things.
Our room was not ready at 4pm and we had to climb over and around rather inconsiderate cleaning staff who were crowding every area outside the elevator all the way to our door. Our key cards also didn't work at our room.
Checking in took almost 30 mins. Why?
Rooms are fine. Small. Seemingly clean.
Bar downstairs is pricey and servers all seemed brand new and confused. But at least their POS system has them cutting through the line up people waiting to check in. Very odd and awkward placement there.
I. L.
Pretty expensive for what it is and the size of the rooms but very nice speedy lifts, cool decor and nice quality body wash and body lotion.
Biggest disappointment by far was the lack of kettles in any of the rooms. This genuinely made the experience way less enjoyable than it could have been. I have never been to a single hotel that doesn't have a kettle so I hope they change that ASAP.
A. J.
Friendly welcoming staff during the day and the late hours of the night. Clean and modern rooms with comfortable beds and great bathroom facilities. Lovely lobby to sit down and have a bit or a drink in. Perfect spot for an extended holiday to take Dublin in or for one night to rest your head after a gig or event!
S. D.
I would have given it a 5 , but for the breakfast service. The food was great, but staff, maybe new , were at cross purposes , not sorting people in order of arrival, not prioritising anything , 8forgetting things too.
Hopefully improve.
C. B.
Location excellent and very handy to have bikes outside. Excellent for travelling to croke Park.
Breakfast service slow, food is great but the service is slow. On the final morning they forgot to put or order in, I complained twice and was told the kitchen was busy so to wait. Eventually someone listened to me and checked (40 mins after order). Once they realised the error we did receive an apology, and the manager came to apologise also.
Rooms were nice, perfect if not intending to spend much time in the hotel otherwise possibly a tad small. EXCELLENT bathrooms. Shower was also amazing.
Even though we had the issue with breakfast I would still give 4* and would visit again.
D. L.
Lovely place and lovelier staff! Such a great stay, brilliant manager too everyone was so accommodating brought my wee gran for first time in Dublin! Hotel in quieter area for a great sleep and centre a quick and easy bus ride away !
J. A.
Lovely hotel and not too far from Temple Bar strip. There was a bad smell within the lobby and hall but the restaurant and room weren’t effected by this. Very clean rooms and enough space for hanging clothes for the weekend. Food and cocktails were amazing and service was great!
S. J.
Nice staff, nice room, restaurant downstairs , not far from the centre
I. S.
It is an absolute gem of a hotel. I made a mistake in booking, and they were kind enough to correct it. Special thanks to A at the checkin desk. Breakfast is very nice, nice portion, and it is served hot. Staff are very good.
M. B.
Nice hotel, great housekeeping staff who make up the room everyday. But they do forget to refill some items, like tissues. Showers need more water pressure, but the good shampoo and shower gel make up for that.
f. g.
This hotel easily beats our expectations, the rooms have every single detail Just on point, everything working as it should, the price is a decent match.
The restaurant there "the botanical" serving diferent menus for breakfast, Lunch and dinner did not dissapoint any of us. The price range is fair when it comes to the quality we got.
A special shout out to the barista Yanneh whos welcoming smile adds a nice touch to the place.
Definitely a place worth the visit.
A. A. S.
I went just to the restaurant, the drinks were amazing and beautiful.
The food we had linguini (that was amazingly good, taste and full off shrimp) and a chicken supreme (this wasn't so nice, but was ok).
And as a starter we had their fried cheese, this dish was from another world.
Š. Š.
Good location, nice deisgn, very clean and affordable. Just don't get the breakfast/brunch with your stay because you will end up overpaying. They still charge you for coffee/juice separately and everything on the menu is cheaper anyway if you just walk in to the restaurant.
V.
Very comfortable location and venue. Good quality of food. The staff is super. Very nice staying. Thank you. Vito
T. A.
The Manager, David, and everyone else working at the hotel was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and modern with convenient plug locations, and the bathroom was clean and modern. The breakfast was great!
R. T.
Fantastic location and very affordable stay. Lovely rooms and amenities. Friendly and helpful staff. Would stay here again!
E. B.
A very special place. You get into a urban jungle.....so fun.
Lovely food. Unbeatable for vegans.
But the best are the selections of cocktails......expert barmen
B. P.
Lovely hotel! Top atmosphere very lively and wild but it was during ed sheeran week but still bed was super comfortable!
M. B.
Great hotel. Rooms are nice and clean. Self check in and check out. Would stay again.

Am 190cm and the bed was short, but everything else was good.

Great hotel lovely staff

Went for dinner/drinks. Nice decor, lovely staff, food is ordinary pub food
G. B.
Clean, comfy, near the city center but in the quiet area
A. W.
Big bathroom. Expensive but I guess that’s dublin. helpful staff and clean :)
J. A.
Great place with a nice relaxed feel

was very good

Fantastic hotel
O.
The rooms are extremely small. You can't open the windows, you can only get air through the air conditioning. Room service was not there, we had to collect our needed things and chase the service. It was not possible to upgrade to a larger room because there are apparently no larger rooms. If you need a parking space, you have to go to a parking garage about 500 m away. The food in the indoor restaurant wasn't good, breakfast was okay.
Service in the restaurant bad. Bathroom is fine, cleanliness is fine. Location OK.
L. R.
The hotel is very nice, the room is well equipped. Service is great! The only small downside was that our room didn't have a window that could be opened. But the ventilation was great! Breakfast at the hotel was excellent!
M. M. B.
I stayed in this hotel for 4 days.
The rooms are beautifully furnished, the beds are comfortable, and the bathroom and shower are surprisingly large.
The staff was friendly and accommodating at all times.
Both at the reception and at the bar/restaurant.
The restaurant is of a very good standard, but the prices are, as is typical for a hotel, quite high.
The location is excellent, 30-40 minutes by bus to the airport, 10-15 minutes to the city center, the bus station is 1-3 minutes away.
Only the proximity to the hospital is annoying in some situations (ambulance with siren).
In the area there are a few pubs, bars, a bakery café, numerous snack bars and a Tesco Express supermarket.
I would come back at any time.
O. K.
The Dublin One Hotel is located in the northern part of Dublin city center. The location is convenient for travelers looking for easy access to the city center without being in the tourist hustle and bustle. The surrounding area is a mix of residential buildings, small cafes and pubs. Attractions such as the Spire can be reached on foot in around 15 to 20 minutes. A bus stop around the corner ensures good connections, including to the airport.
Rooms and facilities
I spent four nights in a standard room with breakfast. The furnishings are modern and functional, the bed is comfortable and large enough. However, the space in the room is quite limited, which could be inconvenient if you have large luggage. A small desk, a round mirror, a coat rack and a safe are standard equipment. I found the option of providing yourself with a kettle and tea/coffee making facilities to be pleasant.
The bathroom has a simple but modern design, with white tiles, a functional sink and a spacious shower with a glass door. Care products in practical dispensers were available.
Breakfast and gastronomy
Breakfast is served in the stylishly decorated Botanical Restaurant. The warm lighting and many plants create an inviting atmosphere. The buffet offered a solid selection of yogurt, granola, fruit salad and hot items like scrambled eggs. There were also gluten-free options. The range of fresh vegetables was initially limited, but at my suggestion tomatoes were added. More diversity would be desirable.
For my early return flight I received a packed lunch instead of breakfast. Unfortunately, it mostly consisted of packaged sweets and sweet drinks, which I found to be unbalanced. Fresher or heartier alternatives would have significantly improved the service.
service
The service is friendly and attentive. Particularly noteworthy are the employees Tina and Zachariya, who were helpful when we had questions. However, my requested wake-up call was forgotten and no apology was given when I pointed it out. Although I had set an alarm clock on my smartphone, I think that a wake-up call from the hotel should be reliable - especially for early flights. Unfortunately, such oversights leave a negative impression.
Conclusion
The Dublin One Hotel is a modern city hotel with good public transport connections and a relatively quiet location. The rooms are compact but functional, and the Botanical Restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere. However, there are weaknesses such as the limited breakfast selection, the disappointing packed lunch and the glitch with the wake-up call.
Compared to other hotels in European capitals, I found the value for money disappointing. For frequent travelers with high expectations of comfort and service, it may fall short of standards at similar price points. Overall, I give it 3 out of 5 stars because the positive aspects such as the friendliness of the staff and the modern design do not completely compensate for the shortcomings.
D. B.
Excellent and quietly located hotel just outside the center of Dublin, but easily accessible by bus that stops at the bus stop around the corner (both from the airport and the center). Breakfast also fine, I didn't notice the long waiting times mentioned in other reviews. Rooms are a bit on the small side and little to no storage space for clothes, but that was not a problem for us (although one cupboard and/or hangers or hooks would be useful).
W. W.
Rarely been to a hotel as nice as this.|All the staff are friendly, helpful and professional.|Nice bar, good breakfast, nice room.|Everything "just plays" here.|If this is the general standard in the chain, then use I will in the future. I will try next time in Copenhagen.
