The apartments are good for the price value; the surroundings may be too noisy since it's close to universities and schools due to being close to the city centre and households.
The prices for extras in the receptions are really valuable, reasonable and of high quality. The WiFi is extremely fast, with no latency, including proper backing.
My highlights are the arcade/community rooms for each housing number at the entrance to hang out with other guests and/or visitors.

As we rented and apartment for max 6 people and there are 4 of us staying another toilet in addition to the one in the bathroom would have been nice. Also, why are there no tables anywhere? It's really hard to have your suitcase somewhere available to you when there are no tables anywhere. (1 tiny in both bedrooms, no desk space in the bathroom and one largish in the living room. Okay hotel with okay placement in the city with some things left to be decired.

K. H.Loads of space for a family with children. Very friendly and kind staff. We received a baby cot and high chair quickly. Walls could use a repaint and some stains on the chairs. Hotel is very centrally located. Our place had the smallest television with lots of snow on the channel feeds but we weren't there to stay inside our hotel room so not too much of a bother.

Very helpful reception staff. The apartments are okay. Big and roomy but don't expect luxury. We had a ground floor apartment which was a bit dark. These are clearly summer let student accommodation. Television in our apartment was small and remote was not synced but that's not what you are in Dublin for!!! Would book again.

We lost a passport and they contacted us and let us know they had it, so we were able to locate it and get to our flight with no issues! We loved the heavy, solid doors and we had a balcony and a roof terrace to enjoy our stay. It was the best option we could've made for our visit to Dublin!!! L. N.Was a lot of fun! Stayed here for a stag. Staff is super friendly and flexible, and the rooms are a great value! The building is very close to the center of Dublin but the area is calm, so no worries with sleep! Would definitely recommend and also consider coming again!

M. B.This is a nice spacious place to stay in the Hart of Dublin. The place I had consisted of a living room/kitchen with a dining table and a pull out love seat. The kitchen was a fully furnished kitchen with stove, toaster, oven, microwave, and coffee/tea pot. There were also two bedrooms: one with a "double bed" but it was truely a queen size and the other had two twin beds. The bathroom had a tub with shower, toilet and sink. There was a small in room laundry with a washer/drier in one. The one draw back is that it was not the cleanest. The floors were a bit dirty and I found an empty cigarettes box in a corner from a previous guest. There is a parking garage below the building which is very convenient for an additional €14 a day. Everything you need is within walking distance.
J. C.These guys are great - awesome management team. We are from Australia and unfortunately due to COVID-19 were unable to fly to Ireland for Christmas 2020. Staycity Aparthotels understood the distress we were in and gave us a full refund (when they didn't have to). When me and my family finally are able to travel to Ireland (hopefully sometime soon) we are looking forward to staying at Staycity Aparthotels - Saint Augstine Street, Dublin 8. Love your work!.
A. G.The staff were great but the apartment itself was a bit questionable. Using the washer (the whole reason we chose this place) tripped a breaker resulting in a maintenance man telling us we wouldn't be able to use it. Reception was incredibly nice though and did our laundry and even delivered it back to us! The shower was clogged (like an inch of water each time we showered) and the towel rack broke twice when we put a towel on it. Again, the staff were amazing but the actual room disappointed.
L. H.Stayed for a short break in Dublin City with my sisters. The place was located centrally so easy for exploring the city. For the price it was perfectly suitable, clean and no frills accommodation. The decor was a little tired but for the low price it wasn’t expected to be incredible. Was also self catering so had fridge and sink facilities perfect for those looking for apartment style stays with no frills - perfect if you just need a base for a few days to explore the city.
C. I.It was perfect for a group of friends to stay over for the weekend. It was very clean and I would definitely recommend for a group booking. It would not be good for a romantic weekend away and I was woken up a few times by other guests having a party in their apartment.
L. S.Overall, this place all the essentials - a bed, a kitchenette, and a bathroom. The bathroom is shared though and it feels weird. The place itself seems raggedy and not very clean. It's bearable, but there are some dirty spots here and there etc.
Also, the shower was broken in our apartment (leaking) and the air ventilation system didn't work at all in the bathroom as well. We went down to reception and asked to fix both these problem maybe twice every day and after 5 days of our stay it was still broken, they didn't care at all.
It was a business trip so I didn't have much choice, but I wouldn't choose this place for myself for sure. Not worth the money.
M. C.Talk about service and that describes the staff at this hotel. From good advice to finding a box to send things home, the went out of their way for us. The apartment was a 2 bedroom HUGE place meant for a family of 6. Very clean, the washer was a nice touch and used. Would stay here again

Not in the middle of the city centre (which would be considerably more noisy), but just a few blocks away, and super easy walking distance to the highlights of the city centre - Temple Bar, Trinity College, Guinness Storehouse, Grafton Street, and more. Spacious, clean, comfortable. My daughters loved the resident cat in the courtyard. Loved the ease of walking everywhere. Also within a block of the oldest pub in Ireland, the Brazen Head Inn, where we had our favorite meal of our vacation in Ireland.

W.Had a birthday weekend with some friends booked 2 5 man apartments out and they were very nice and clean nice service to top it all off I had left £30 in a draw, Completely forgot about it so ran back about 1 hour later to discover they were cleaning the room and the money was gone one of the cleaners asked what I was looking for and told her it was money so was so happy to return it to be after she had found it. That does not usually happen she could of easily said it wasnt there so very trusting!

H.Clean, large rooms and fully equipped with separate bedrooms with excellent beds and hotel linen, a kitchen with freezer, cooling, microwave and dishwasher, a diner table and sitting corner, small TV. It's a large international company and they offer 4 different locations. The service is good and mostly self services. There is no cleaning service in between your stay. Late checkout is free of charge. Personell is nice and helpful. We surely recommended this place. It's in some ways better than other places in that era.
K. M.Front desk folks were nice. The apartment was spotless. Comfy bed, nice sheets. Also, it was very big. It's located near the Guinness storehouse and right down the street from Dublin's oldest pub. Really enjoyed our stay and highly recommended.
G. P.I got really impressed with their structure. We rented an apartment for 3 and in the last night we could sleep in 5 people without extra charge (we asked first and they told price was already covering everything). Apartment was big and super clean.
The only small problems were the building doors - Anyone can force and open them without a card key. Other than that, staff was helpful and nice in several occasions. They helped with taxi, printing travel documents and didn't fully charge the extra hours my family had to stay.
I definitively recommend them and will use again when needed.

A. C.Great huge place for the price. The only downside I can see is if you are seeking quiet. The walls are the thinnest I've ever seen so we could hear the neighbors party until 5am like they were in the apartment with us. It was no issue for us though as we also came to Dublin to have a good time!
A. Z.The place is convenient, however rather hard for accessibility-challenged people (you must climb at least a few stairs to get anywhere). Some of the equipment in our apartment was broken, but was fixed promptly once we notified maintenance. Staff were ok, though not 100%.
A. V.They gave us a rooftop apartment, beautiful. However, the window was open and cold inside the living room. We could not get the radiator to work and called maintenance from the iPhone in the room. They came up quickly but could not fix it. So they replaced it. We intended on getting some sleep as we spent 17 hours in airports traveling to Dublin. Instead, we spent that time waiting for the new radiator to be replaced and wall painted. They charge 2.50 euro for coffee machine downstairs. The apartment is nice. Equipped with basic kitchen tools, a washer/dryer combo (no detergent) and a starter coffee and tea set with electric kettle. A convenience store is a 5 minute walk up the street. Everything is close. Will select a closer stay city next time, but this is good for a first timer in Dublin reasonably priced. Staff is responsive.

L. I.Nice apartment, very spacious. Large car park too. 24h reception. Clean. Only complains, fire sensor goes off anytime you use kitchen appliances, even for a toast. And TV very poor but overall excellent place and location.
M. P. (. P.Very clean and tidy. The apartments have plenty of space, there were two rooms each with two beds and a line with a pull out sofa bed. The location is perfect, a short walk into three pounds, clubs and restaurants.
S. L.Super friendly check-in and they even offered me a free upgrade. However, the room needs some serious redecoration. The couch was completely worn out. The leather had ugly marks and the curtains were almost falling from the curtain rails. Another issue is the water temperature in the shower it is either burning hot or ice cold - looks like a pressure issue to me. Nevertheless, the apartment is huge and the kitchen is well equipped. Only a coffee maker is missing. Would recommend it only if you get a very good offer like the €99 I paid.

What: Your own apartment in Dublin
How was it: Great ! We were upgraded for free to a 2 bedroom apartment. Not that we needed the space but it did come in handy. Before visiting Dublin, we researched where to stay and came across this alternative to a hotel. The hotel rooms were at the same price but didn't offer the same flexibility. We didn't care for a pool or gym so the apartment was great for space with the separate rooms (kitchen, bathroom, tv, lobby). The location was pretty good since we could easily walk to the Guinness Storehouse and the Old Jameson distillery.
We had to keep all the doors open otherwise there was a strange smell accumulating. The walls aren't so thick and we could hear people partying or coming in late at night. Beware of the noise is one of the main complaints. But when you call the front desk to complain they quickly take care of things !

Recommend: Yeah you should consider this as an alternative to hotels. All depending on what you are doing.

Rooms were spotless. We had booked a double and got a two bed apartment. Kitchen with tea coffee and milk there . TV iron and even a hairdryer. Will look here first when staying in the city again.
R. K.Good service and check in and polite and helpful. Good underground parking for 14€ a day which was secure and handy. New carpet and everything clean but starting to get into disrepair, might be due a fix up soon. The internet phone was handy!

There is also a few pizza shops and chip shops to get food and bring back to the apartment, would recommend this place for a weekend away and even for a longer stay. The heating is amazing too never go cold!

R. K.I got an amazing deal on this room through hotwire and it was more than I expected! It was an entire apartment with plenty of room for my two friends and I. The bed was comfortable and the apartment we had had a fully furnished kitchen so your can make a meal at home if you wanted. The location is amazing - down the street from brazen head "oldest pub in Dublin" and a short walk from the Guinness store house.
Downside is that the windows need to be open because there is no air conditioning which is standard in Dublin. With the windows open we were kept up by groups up until 3am on their porch area and then woken up by early risers on their way out at 7am.
S. D.The boiler is quite loud and in the specific room we were in the shower head didn't stay on the hook and there was a blood/lipstick stain on a pillow case. But the staff were friendly and quickly dealt with our problems as they arose.

The kitchen is a good size - you can have more than one person in there without stepping on each others toes. Nice balcony area to catch a bit of sun/get a bit of air. The living room comfortably sat 6 of us around the tv when an important race was on! Plenty of storage space in the rooms and the kitchen.
Didn't really suffer from volume levels, which is something I usually notice with city stays.
Short walking distance to the river, the Tesco local as well as other shops. Slightly longer walk to the station and the guinness factory but still not too far.
k. k.Very nice apartment. The bedroom had a comfy bed and there was a well eqipped kitchen - I get tired of restaurants after a while. Quiet downtown location in Dublin. Prices are ok for the quality.

Located about 10 minutes (on foot) from Dublin's "evening" center (Temple Bar) and 5 minutes from the BUS 747 stop for the airport. Excellent room cleaning, modern furniture and good bathroom (with availability of 1 hand towel, and 1 body towel per person, soap-bubble bath and professional hairdryer). Good sleep quality (the area is very quiet and the apartments are soundproofed). Good heating with electric wall stoves. Free Wifi in the room. The apartment has a large kitchen where you can use an electric oven, microwave, induction cooker, kettle, fridge, toaster and various dishes for the kitchen. Moka coffee maker not present. Breakfast cannot be purchased at the property.
In the apartment there is also a washing machine with electric iron and ironing board.
Free outdoor parking. All in all, I found good value for money (considering that the average prices per person per night are very high in Dublin, or around 50 euros).
There is no bidet. The doors close by themselves (to move from one room to another we must always open the door).

Buona la qualità del sonno (la zona è molto tranquilla e gli appartamenti sono isolati acusticamente). Buon riscaldamento con stufe elettriche a parete. Wifi gratis in camera. L'appartamento dispone di una grande cucina dove poter utilizzare forno elettrico, forno a microonde, cucina a induzione, bollitore, frigorifero, tostapane e diverse stoviglie per la cucina. Caffettiera Moka non presente. La colazione non è acquistabile presso la struttura.
Nell'appartamento è presente anche una lavatrice con ferro da stiro elettrico e asse da stiro.
Parcheggio esterno gratuito. Tutto sommato, ho riscontrato un buon rapporto qualità prezzo (considerando che i prezzi medi per persona a notte sono molto alti a Dublino, ovvero di circa 50 euro).
Non è presente il bidet. Le porte si chiudono da se (per passare da una stanza all'altra dobbiamo sempre aprire la porta).

We were disappointed that we did not receive breakfast even though it is stated that the apartment includes breakfast except for an asterisk whose booking website indicates that not all hotels in the staycity chain have breakfast.
Why not explicitly state this to every hotel in this chain if there is or does not have a meal.
Getting to our apartment building involved many stairs. Not particularly comfortable with luggage.
