r. 7.Not bad once the taxi driver found it (silly calling it "The Address"). Just make sure you are not placed in a room next to the motorway as there's no air con so you have to have a window open. Breakfast was good.

J. X.Honestly one of the best hotels i have stayed in, from the little details to the big details everything was perfect . The staff go above and beyond to make you happy. I really want to say a huge thank you to Zana who made our family get together the best experience. She really is amazing at her job. She is so attentive she could not do enough for myself or my family . The hotel itself is so updated the decor is lovely from the outside in! The rooms are so clean . The food is brilliant and the staff are friendly,kind and caring. The family deals the hotel has available at the moment are great value. Thank you all so much we really appreciated it 😊❤

Dinner in McGettigans was very enjoyable with a laid back casual atmosphere. Package offered was dinner bed and breakfast with cocktail on arrival and as such was very competitive at €178. Minor teething problems are evident as this hotel like all others exit lockdown. Would highly recommend.

E.Food was OK, prices par for the course, atmosphere was soft and dimly lit, was there due to work so it was funny to watch the gentle burble of conversation be shattered every now and then by the clang of steel serving trays clattering on the floor, the staff were hilarious copeing drinks and server trays left, right and centre. I think they used their entire October budget for blue roll after cleaning up all the spilt drinks.
M. H. A.Amazing Place. Outclass staff. Comfortable rooms (carpets felt as if something was sticking to the feet. They definitely need a thorough cleaning). We requested a fan at the time of booking and it was available in the room when we arrived.
Breakfast was good omelettes were superb.
Throws were provided with the beds which were a first and very nice addition
Underground secure parking. However i found that most cars were occupying two spaces rather than the one assigned.

The staff & management were so accommodating, the food was excellent,the rooms were spotless! The staff couldn't do enough for us even giving us extra rooms for wedding prep! The hotel is a little hidden gem! Sarah & Stephen are amazing at their work.We would like to thank all staff for their hard work and for making our day so special, we will be back🥰

Sustainability (4/5): non-disposable toiletries, love that! When requested for water, they bring it in a glass water 😍 non-disposable cutlery but in the breakfast, they used personal cereal boxes with plastic and cardboard 😔
Room (4/5) room is like pictures, nice, clean and warm. Perfect for cold weather. The pillows were very flat, all of them, no diversity. Good wifi and usb chargers port
Food (3/5): continental breakfast. Fo kunch and dinners ciabatta bread and pizza. Nothing healthy but at least they provide something. There are no places to eat around
Location (3/5) its located for that office center. I just wish they were other options to eat at a walking distance

Two small things that were a bit annoying, the bed side lamp was flicking a bit and the hotel welcome book states you can ask for a bathrobe, which I did but it was only for exuctuive rooms. Not the staff fault but the book a little misleading, would love to go back with friends.

C. C.We held our Christmas lunch there (a bit early). Good service, helpful staff, reasonable cost. All meals served much at the same time and were hot. Full bar available, though most had soft drinks or alcohol-free beer. All appeared happy with the occasion.
V. Z.Generally I enjoyed my stay here. Comfortable room, very good breakfast. Very quiet, even some people were complaining about noise from the road. My windows were facing to the road, but it is was not annoying at all. One thing I should report though. Water sink below the shower was partly blocked in my room; first morning I reported this issue to hotel staff, but no measures have been undertaken until end of my stay (3 nights). I did not chase them either though.
B. H.Stayed for one night. Had dinner in the restaurant next door where staff were really friendly and accommodating. Food was great. Hotel had lovely beds and pillows, with good quality sheets and duvets. Breakfast was so friendly. Lady cooked us soft fried eggs and offered us fruit for our journey. If we could find any fault, it was that there could be a bit of maintenance done on rooms, few screws missing, bulbs gone, but nothing major, and breakfast could have been hotter. But all in all, a really nice experience. Two adults, two teenagers, one child, €155 including breakfast... Very good value. Thank you
J. S.Stayed for a month on a work trip. Hotel was nice, staff was nice, the conference center was great and convenient. The bar was excellent as well. It’s a bit of a hike to the train stations or much dining/shopping but a walk is always nice and the cab/uber fares were reasonable when needed.
D. B.The staff at the front counter were very friendly. The amenities were well appointed and the lift made easy access to the room. Though our view was over the motorway, we could not hear the traffic at all. We used the restaurant downstairs which was reasonable value and also had friendly staff and an Irish pub atmosphere.
L. M. A.Nice. Food excellent. One side of the hotel is near the motorway way so noisy traffic can be heard from bed. The only hotel room I ever stayed in that automatically provided a pair of ear plugs in the bedside locker. Did not bother me. I always sleep with ear plugs anyway. Not the rubbish foam one though. Wax buds or white tack works best. Hotel providesribbish foam ones only.
Z. D.Brilliant hotel , I visit once a year and never had an issue . The breakfast is better than most well known hotels and I would always use it has an example to compare other breakfast with . The staff are always very helpful . The rooms seem to be upgraded or have made a positive change every year when we stay, they never stop trying to make things better for there guests.
Nice restraunt just outside the door . Would love the addition of a pool but not sure if that is viable . Always a 5 Star Stay !

The hotel could have been a 5 if not for a couple of negative points. A well appointed hotel, nicely decorated with very friendly helpful staff. There is a good sized free secure car park.
My room was a good size, clean and tidy... unfortunately it was hotter than the gates of Hell, I would have opened the window for some fresh air but my room was on the motorway (see picture) make sure you ask for a room not facing the motorway. The other negative is a personal one for me, the shower had a good pressure but you can't remove the head from the wall to enable proper rinsing.
There is a pub restaurant on site, this serves some very good food and has a fair number of beers on tap.

L. C.Our stay at the Kingswood Hotel was not planned. Our original accommodation plans fell through and we ended up needing to find a place to stay for the night on short notice. I called to check on availability and was greeted with a very cheery person who answered all my questions and got us a room immediately. When we arrived I checked in and was happy to be working with the same person, Darelle, as I spoke to on the phone. I mentioned our little accommodation crisis and she was very kind and gave us the best rate available with breakfast. The room was perfect, clean and spacious. We left for dinner and on the way out asked for a fan to be provided and they folks working the desk were so kind. They said they would put it in our room while we are out -- and they did! On the way back in from dinner my daughter got sick and threw up all over the floor near the elevators. I went to the front desk to let them know of the mess and they were so kind. Once again Darelle was understanding and helpful. She sent someone to clean up the mess and not only suggested a way to sooth my daughter's tummy but provided the ginger ale and lemonade for her. And both of those drinks really did help her feel better. Honestly, the staff at this hotel are just fantastic. I would stay here again in a heart beat. It is lovely inside and out, has great secure parking, the breakfast was great and the location ideal. And Darelle is one fantastic employee.
G. R.it's nice enough but there are issues... I assume the 4 star rating was given by somebody of small stature. At 6'2" the bed is just too small, then there's the shower which is around 1 1/2ft in width with a horrid curtain that sticks to you. also it must be close to the dump as there's a distinct whiff in the afternoon/ evening if you're outside. mcgettigans cookhouse and all of the staff are very pleasant.

C. F.My family and I stayed at Kingswood Hotel the night before the DCM and had a fabulous stay! The staff were efficient and friendly and organised an extra early breakfast catering for the marathoners staying Saturday night. The rooms were spotless and spacious. We got two double rooms for 3 children and 2 adults for a fantastic rate. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay again.
I. T.Room was very comfortable, except the mini fridge was missing. The hotel is located next to highway, so there is some noise at nights. Breakfast was outstanding and the receptionists were friendly and professional.

Location is very remote, not for Dublin city tourists. Difficult to get into the city w public transportation. Can be ideal for City West work stuff, although a grocery store somewhere near would be a bit advantage.

J. T.Very friendly staff, hotel location is possibly not the best one and if you, like me, get a room on the bottom floor with a window towards the road you can forget about sleeping. After 2 nights the staff was friendly enough to move me to a room higher up where traffic was not an issue. Room rates very good.Very clean with a good breakfast.Would definitely stay there again. A fantastic park just down the road. The Sean Walsh Park. Well worth a look if you are into waterfowl and wildlife.
R. B.Room was nice, has free WiFi, breakfasts are good but a bit pricey. Staff was a bit snippy saying they cancelled our reservation since we were a day late getting in (due to being stranded in Omaha a day) even though we had prepaid for the entire stay. Location is a bit out of the way if you don't have a car and the buses weren't on time, but that's not really the hotel's fault.

A. K.Stayed here 4 nights while visiting Dublin. Although it's a bit out of the city, the 69 bus was quite helpful and picks you up right at the entrance more or less. Employees here are very friendly and everything was smooth. Sure wished they had some air conditioning though. Although, make sure to ask for a fan and they will provide one right away, which helps quite a bit.

WiFi is open and not protected with a password.
Breakfast was included for about 10 extra euros for my wife and I.
TV stations did not look to be HD.
Shower and bathroom were clean and well stocked. Problem was the shower has a handle/soap shelf combination installed about waist height - maybe 4 ft from bottom of the tub. This installation shortens the distance between the shower wall and the shower curtain, and is placed exactly where one would stand when showering. Felt really cramped when taking a shower.
Hotel staff were friendly and courteous.
Hotel also has a parking garage with shutter doors for security.
Overall not a bad stay, but I don't know if I could take the cramped shower for more than a few days.

S. A.A large family room with three beds, well designed with a view of the motorway on the second floor. No fridge but 2 gowns, bottled water, iron and hair dryer as standard. Large amount of storage space if you are staying a few days. Check in and out was simple. Good advice on where to go in Dublin. Nice staff who helped from the car park with bags. Cons Broken bathroom door Room was too warm Service was slow - asked for more water as they didn't fill up when they tidied the room; took 45mins to arrive Couldn't provide me with a shaving blade

C. B.Very nice hotel, ideal if you want to rest before traveling on to Waterford, Cork, Limerick, Kilkenny. Good sized rooms, everything looks fresh and new. Great bar/restaurant and close to Citywest. Only downside, it's about 30 mins from the center of Dublin by taxi or Luas train/bus. Also no air-conditioning.

s. s. (.I would give 5 stars if they would have an AC unit in the room. The air gets really dense and it gets a bit annoying. Also the bathroom door has a lock, which doesn't do it's job, as the doors are sliding doors :D. Also there is no fridge in the room, so no way of cooling down your drinks or whiskey. Also they don't give you a european adapter, but that is kind of my fault, as I forgot to bring my own one. Kind of far from the city center, but as the hotel is aimed towards business men, I can't take any points away for that. Besides the cons (for me), I pointed out, it's a great hotel, with nice and helpful staff. Oh, and ai almost forgot about the Cook House. Really nice looking place, but some of the bartenders are sluggish at their job.

j. h.just returned after staying a couple of years back, and hotel and staff have massively improved, very impressed all round , rooms basic and clean my one (103 ) little cold and slightly noisey below the window but nothing hectic.. general manager whos name i didnt catch was nice and helpful and 2/3 lady staff on the front desk were nice and had great personalities which was great to see .breakfast was served to your table and full irish was 10/10 , great hotel keep up the good work and will return soon

S. G.It's a simple hotel with almost everything you would need and within a budget. Some considerations:
- no AC (but they did give us a table fan when we asked)
- 15 min walk to the nearest LUAS
- not the best location for public transport to airport or city (especially if you have early morning tours or trips it's a time consuming endeavor) so taxi is best option (€40 for city centre €50 for airport)
- food options are scarce (there's a restaurant connected to the hotel that is fine but closes by 9:30pm)
It's definitely not a 4 star hotel, I would paint as a 3 star but for someone who just needs a simple accommodation its fine. If you're planning on making multiple trips to Dublin city then I would recommend getting something closer to the red line LUAS.

K. S.I recently visited the magettigans cookhouse with friends whom were staying at the hotel ... when in the hotel reception I was approached by a female receptionist to ask if I was ok or needed any help ..
She ended up giving us advice on where to go where to get transport to the city and the nearest shop ..

Ein kleinen Schönheitsfehler hat es allerdings aber das ist vielleicht Ansichtssache statt Badewanne wäre eine Dusche zum duschen sehr viel praktischer, weil die Badwanne auch schmal ist und der Duschvorhang einen ständig am Körper klebt. Ein besonderes Lob für die Dame vom Empfang die uns in Deutsch empfangen hat und unser Problem mit der Autovermietung schnell gelöst hat. Vom Autobahnlärm oder ähnliches haben wir nix mitbekommen. Das mit dem Abzug das stimmt er läuft durchweg aber Tür zu dann hört man nix mehr. Wir können das Hotel nur empfehlen.
