M. B.Wonderful hotel, great staff, and fantastic location. I've been here for a day and have constantly found reasons to be impressed with them and their services. The building has a wonderful aesthetic to it on the inside and feels very clean and welcome. The staff have been more than accommodating in services. Definitely staying here next time I come to Ireland.
B. B.Excellent hotel. Best nights sleep in a hotel ever. Not overly modern, but the rooms are high quality and have a modern feel to them. Very clean, staff are excellent, bed very very comfy, room was a great temperature. No noise albeit the walls a little thin. Only downside to this stay was the shower, regulator wasn't working, 5 seconds cold, 5 seconds too hot, over and over, so no morning shower which was dissapointing but the girl at reception knew about the fault, and anyway these things happen, it's life. I will definitely recommend and stay here again soon. 😊
L. W.It looks like a grim tribute to seventies brutality, a block of a building with no charm. But there are touches even on the outside. The roses reaching across from the cottage next door, the flags, the rather interesting choice of complimentary colours, purple and yellow. And when you get in, it has a very different feel. A classical old fashioned air with charmingly polite and extremely helpful staff. The rooms are very clean and spacious and the views from the front over the Phoenix Park are spectacular, a sea of trees. All in all, an absolute pleasure. If I hadn’t hurt my foot (nothing to do with the hotel! Too much running!) I’d have happily walked into town. As it was, it’s within close range of a gorgeous walk along the river and the magnificent park offers endless possibilities. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
G. G. a. G.I loved it, they made my stay so easy and hotel staff are very friendly. As this was my 1 st visit to Ireland they taught me which buses to hop on to the city etc. Chef Desan was amazing. Very professional and food is very delicious. Rooms lol neat and housekeeping is on point

E. W.We stayed there just for a day, the staff is friendly, but just that kind of. A couple of friends drove us there to check-in, and as we headed to the room the lady at the front desk asked them not to go up, and to wait downstairs, which is like the last thing to do if you want your guests to feel "at home". That night I thought I'd lost my keys, so I called and they told me it was not a problem, just show the ID and get the room opened, so that's what we did, and once there they said it was 50€ charge for losing this key... a simple key attached to a wood stick, I mean I get it is my fault and all but is it so hard to not charge or do so with the proper amount? isn't 10-15 € enough to clone a new key? finally we found it at my friend's car but this was very tough to digest. On the other side: the outside makes no justice to the interior, much cleaner and tidy.

The food, bar and all around good vibe from everyone you meet is very welcoming. Breakfast and bar staff were very friendly and accommodating. Thanks for all and I will definitely be back.

K. D.Very Nice, fantastic power shower with head and lead (not fixed) I had a stonebaked chicken Cajun pizza for dinner very nice, rooms are big clean and warming. Staff are very friendly and helpful, had everything I needed. Including iron and board. Plugs by bedside unlike other hotels which is important to me as I like to use my phone in bed while it's on charge. Would gladly return here and recommend to anyone. Had a great night sleep in a comfy bed as well.

S. F.Looks very dated but we had a very pleasant two night stay. Slightly out of town but means it's a quieter area, and only a short bus ride in to the city centre (have correct change ready for the bus). The breakfast was a bit hit and miss, not so great the first morning but really nice the second day. The restaurant within the hotel was really nice for our evening meal.

A young lad and girl served us and where very helpful they went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied . They seemed very cheerful and happy to help. Will definitely be coming back soon and would highly recommend it to others !!

The West County Hotel is what I would call vintage. Sure, the decor is somewhat from yesteryear, but the fixtures and fittings are in excellent condition. the hotel is also scrupulously clean, and beds are comfortable. Prices are more than fair for Dublin, and the staff are unfailingly friendly.
I did like this place a lot, and I suspect I'll be staying here next time I'm in Dublin.
K. J.Looks a bit old and run down from outside but nice and clean inside, although a little bit dated.
The room was clean and exactly what you'd expect. The bathroom was modern with a shower cubicle.
The staff were friendly and helpful always said 'Hi' when you walked past. They were more than happy to help with everything including booking taxis.
The bar was ok and served a selection of beers, ales and ciders.
I had the full Irish breakfast in the morning, which was very nice. There was fruit juices, yoghurt and pastries available as well.
I only stayed for 1 night but would stay again. During the day a taxi cost about €15 to get to the centre of Dublin and about €40 to get to the airport. There is a bus stop directly outside which goes into the centre but I didn't use it so can't say how frequent they arrive.
J. S.The rooms were decent and to be expected for the low price of $100 per Room for 2 people. The restaurant was not very good at all but the location was beautiful it was a 10 minute bus ride to the city centre and a bus ran every 10 minutes early morning or late at night. The staff was very nice and the free breakfast was pretty good as well.

R. H.Sometimes go in here at about 5 o clock when its not too busy. Love the view from the large windows facing the Liffey Valley. Nice relaxed atmosphere for a family Sunday dinner . Lots of snug areas and different seating styles to choose from . Big screens forvthe footie fans but plenty of quieter areas for us non sporty types.
Bar food and restaurant fare depending on choice all at very good prices leaving loads of leeway to tip the normally friendly staff.

Das mittlerweile in die Jahre gekommene Hotel (eigentlich auch ein B&B) ist an sich sehr sauber und das Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Ein Stern abzug zwar nicht für das Alter des Hotels, aber dafür dass man den Eindruck hat eher nichts gegen das von außen schon fast schäbige Aussehen zu unternehmen. Grundsätzlich echt ganz gute Anbindung mit dem Bus in die Innenstadt - in ca. 20min ist man dort. Würde als Alternative jedenfalls wieder buchen.
