P. M. C.Room is nice, shower pressure really good, but we've found alot dark hair on the carpet floor and toilet .Same dust also. I strongly suggest for the management do a deeper clean and refreshing before any arrival.

K. B.Ardilaun Guesthouse is the place to be when visiting Ennis. Rooms were sanitized when we arrived and rules of wearing a mask when coming in the hallway and sanitation areas were implemented. It has a breezy veranda beside the river where you can stay with your family and friends for a drink or picnic. We also met John and he gave us a free wine on our second night and he was very accommodating. Wi-fi was fine and a barbecue station was available in the area. Unfortunately, it was raining when we had our barbecue so we had to do it under the tree (just be careful with the neighbor because he got mad with us since he loved the tree so much and he didn’t want it to die with the barbecue smoke 😅 even though we had the guesthouse owner’s permission to do so.) Apart from that, we had a lovely stay there for 4 days and 3 nights.
Visit their website and they provide a wide option of activities to do around the area and nearby counties. It’s definitely a recommendable place to stay when you’re planning to visit Ireland.

Yoga studio is a nice addition. It was a this nice balance between comfort of the hotel room and family friendly quiet space We will definitely be back and recommend it to others.

M. B.My Partner and I stayed for the weekend and it was a amazing experience. Great location, super closed to Ennis and other to be seeing places. The guesthouse is cosy but spacious plus at the back it passes a lil river with a cute deck (some seats and tables provided) and beautiful view. The safe higiene protocol has been respected as expected on this times. Highly recommend.

Host Anne made great recommendations for pubs, music, cafe and parking in Ennis - and even a Dr for upper resp infection. Very accommodating - our group of 5 "picnicked" in the garden one night instead of going out. Enjoyable stay, good value.

D.Fantastic place to stay, great welcome from Ann and her staff...we booked for 6 nights and the room we had was spacious, very clean, lovely and warm which was great as the weather was quite cold and a tad damp lol ! and the rooms are serviced every day, the en-suite was spotless and the water pressure in the shower was great! Lots of hot water too ! Fresh towels daily, and a lovely comfortable king sized bed. Great view of the river from the window! The whole establishment was very clean and the guest lounge was very comfortable. Plenty of off road parking for guests which is a bonus. Nice and peaceful and remarkably quiet especially as we stayed over the St.Patrick day bank holiday when everywhere is so busy , but I have to say even though the guest house was busy we were not disturbed at all ! And even though it's on a main road it's far enough back that you don't hear any traffic noise. We opted for the breakfast package and were delighted we did ! Plenty of choice from the menu all cooked to order using high quality fresh produce and plenty of toast and tea and coffee too ! The soda bread is to die for lol ! It's lovely to see that Ann and her staff maintain the Irish tradiation of welcome and follows the true meaning of .. Cead mile fáilte. We will definitely book here again on our next trip to the west of Ireland
E. S.Fabulous place to go for a nice quiet getaway. Nice friendly helpful staff. Nice food. A short distance from Ennis town. An ideal location to visit the Cliffs of Mohar, Doonbeg, Lisdoonvarna, Lahinch, Spancil Hill, Fr Ted's house, ect. Nice seating area out on the decking beside the river Fergus. Highly recommend.

c. m.I stayed the weekend with my girlfriend, Amaizing place with stunning view to the lake with a beautiful deck and chairs to sit and amazing beds that found really relaxing and quiet after doing some road trips around Clare, locations is perfect for those want to explore all the good things on the Atlantic way 30 min driving from the cliff of moher and also not far from the north of Kerry and limerick, the attention was amaizing and really attentive to the safety protocols especially important in this times
