It's Staff friendly, good pleasant atmosphere, good food, carvery is good at lunch time, but best to get there early, because they're not great at keeping dinner hot. Pastry Chef needs extra lessons in how to bake properly, they also need someone who knows and is trained in coffee making. Finally they don't have a lift to their bedrooms, so not wheelchair accessible.

I went to Hayes for food before and after Tip vs Waterford and the breakfast was fine, it was a bit cold but still nice enough. Later on we went for dinner, the dinner was fairly nice but a few more options would be good. The big screen for Limerick vs Cork was nice altogether I would give it a 3 out of 5.

Nice comfortable lounge area to relax with friends and enjoy a drink and the excellent food served there. Comfortable en suite bedrooms and a very popular nightclub that opens at weekends.

Very nice hotel decor very nice stairs to bedrooms handy nice walk up to the rooms the rooms are very nice beds very confy and a great sleep bathroom very nice to very clean and tidy walk in shower and good hand sink the staff there are all great to very helpful they have a night club to which is very good with big dance floor and lights restrooms and smoking area to and taxis to bring you home so go and stay here I did as you can see great hotel love it food great to very nice very enjoyable and good and all major sports events on the tv's

I really like this hotel, the food is really good and the staff are all local and friendly. The service is quick and efficient. On top of all this, it is the birth place of the GAA and is a place of historical interrest to Irish people.

Beautiful old historic hotel, were GAA was founded. Beautiful old world charm with modern functionality, this functionality extends to the excellent food on offer. Casual, trendy, nice place for weary travellers. I woyld highly recommend this place.

Staff were very helpful (helped us call a taxi) Rooms are very clean and tidy :D (Thank you) The only complaint was the wifi in the rooms were not very strong (Pls note that there's no lift so if you have heavy luggage, good luck!)

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We stayed on a Saturday night for 1 night. The front desk did not tell us that at 11:30pm they had a dance club which they open up off the restaurant. From 11:30 until 2:00am our room was thumping like a drum to the music which woke you up and was difficult to sleep to. 0The restaurant was good and most of the staff was very accomodating except for our waitress. She seemed put off by something and was not very friendly. She brought water to all the tables around us and never asked us for water and she barely came by our table after we ordered. She brought starters but did not offer share plates and I asked for a glass of ice which she never brought. I ended up going to the bar to get ice and order more drinks. Her shift must have ended mid way through our dinner as she left abruptly and was not replaced by anyone. Would not stay here again especially on a Friday or Saturday night.

I stayed for 2 nights b&b. The hotel is warm & inviting right in the centre of the town, close to all amenities. Beautifully decorated Lobby for Christmas. Efficient check in and friend staff. My room was perfect, comfortable, relaxing decor. Breakfast each morning was delicious. The service staff were professional, friendly & helpful. The hotel was spotless. Very well run. I would definitely stay again. Homely atmosphere.

Rooms were overpriced for a so called Deluxe suite. Bathroom shower had mould on it. Bedroom window was old and did not shut properly. The bathroom was so small I had to enter then close the door back in order to get into the shower. There was however a generous supy of towels and soaps. That being said, room was quiet although near nightclub side and it was warm. The room itself and bed linen were spotless and bed turned down. In the bar the staff were friendly although rushed off their feet. It took some time before our food arrived. I had the breakfast the following morning and it was more than adequate with large portions and plenty of toast and tea. The staff worked hard but again it took a good length before food served. Parking was at the rear and free to residents. Spaces were limited and narrow in places so I had to be careful where I parked. Access was via a barrier so my car was secure. It was easy to find and to exit. Overall a good experience but for the price it over promised and under delivered. Breakfast was included in the package I booked. I don't think I would stay here again though based purely on the price.

Perfect location, right in the centre of town. Restaurant/bar serves lovely food and has a lovely atmosphere. Staff at reception and in the bar/restaurant were very friendly and helpful. Room was a nice size with a huge comfy bed. Fantastic power in the shower with complimentary toiletries. Free parking at the back of hotel. Stayed on a Friday night and there was no noise disturbance from the nightclub. Overall we had a lovely stay and I would definitely stay again.

Very nice stay in Hayes , room and ensuite very very comfortable. I did like the walk in shower. It would have been nice to sit out the front but we couldn't because we were not eating at that time. Food for thought there maybe.

We had a family gathering in Hayes' during the week. We were having a meal for 60+ people and from the staff, to the service, to the meal we did not have any complaints. It was good value for money too. We would like to thank Gerry, his kitchen staff and waiting staff for a lovely meal. They did everything they could for us and I would highly recommend Hayes' Hotel.

Hayes hotel has usually been a 4 star experience until recently some of the food options have too a toll the new gravy they have is really not that good I can’t even put a tiny bit on my food the rest of it is good though would like to see the gravy improve

The room is good, unfortunately at the back of the hotel, we heard a refrigerator or ventilation all night long, which really disturbed my sleep. The friendliness, the happy mood of the staff and the very tasty breakfast suddenly lifted my mood.
