The Covid restrictions were being enforced correctly, which was reassuring

P.We had a late evening sitting last Saturday night ,on arrival we were greeted straight away by a nice lady and just had a short wait until a table was ready so had a drink until she seated us and once again she was very friendly and courteous ,the restaurant was lovely inside and quite busy , our food was lovely and portions were quite large which I like ,very good value .
The staff were attentive despite how busy they were and made you feel welcome, as it was night time I couldn't see to much of the outside but will go back at an earlier time as I believe that it is very nice too .
L. N.Beautiful setting for one of the most tasty meals we had .We went for one daughter graduation and other daughter going to college . Service was very good also reasonable priced .We ate outside by choice cause is was lovely evening 😊 . Plenty of choice on main menu and they have specials on day too.We will be back 😋
L. C.First time back since pre covid. Presentation was very nice and staff were welcoming. Food was average though, steak brought out extremely well done when asked for medium rare, sea food selection also pretty over cooked. A good few mistakes that can be easy fixes.

A. F.First Sunday lunch out since January and first time in the Riverbank. Food was lovely and a nice atmosphere. All the usual precautions and hand gels masks etc in place . Ciara who served our table was very nice. Bill wasn't expensive. We will come back soon.

D. L.We spent our last night in Ireland at the Riverbank Country Pub. After getting in just before dusk we were treated to a wonderful dinner in the truly beautiful dining room. Dinner was the best duck I have ever had, incredibly well cooked, alongside a local gin. The staff were all friendly and accommodating, sharing tidbits of local culture and great recommendations on the menu. The ambiance of the dining room was wonderful, warm, cozy, and elegantly decorated and designed. The rooms upstairs were very comfortable, clean, and inviting, with more than enough room for us to repack all of our bags for our early morning flight! Because we were going to miss breakfast to make our flight, the staff prepared a breakfast tray for us in the early morning which was a wonderful smorgasbord of food to start our day off, and incredibly gracious of them! I would also highly recommend the Riverbank as a great hotel before a flight out of Dublin airport, the highway is direct and easy to get on, and we had no issues with traffic or getting lost. We are both looking forward to our next visit to the Pub!

R.They overbooked and our party were asked to finish up. Other customers were told we were the reason they couldn't be seated. A few bad staff doesn't take away from the great food and beautiful location.

R. M. G.It was a cold wet night I had travelled a long distance to get to the Riverbank its in the middle of nowhere. I came in to a lk Ely warm Bar Restaurant area with a big open fire, and a nice lady checked me in, I was staying one night, as I was attending a conference the next day. When I booked with booking. Com it said I was getting the last room. Turned out they had only 7 rooms and I was the only person staying, so there was no heat on up stairs, the girl said it would come on later and had an electrical heater in my room which was on. Room decor was lovely but it was cool and the bed was not used for some time, I was worried about being there on my own all night my car was the only one in the car park. Anyway I survived. But I feel I should have been told these things before I booked in.

A. S.(Translated) Mega cozy place. Stayed for one night. This is a district of Ireland, where the solid hills on which the cows graze, sheep. 20 minutes from the nearest town. The host is very friendly, the rooms are fresh, clean, everything is new, the chef deserves a Michelin star. Well, very tasty for dinner. And it is significant that local people come here just to have dinner and drink beer !!! Be sure to try the duck and sea bass. the bar is very stylishly decorated, I want to be there and not leave. For breakfast, the host will personally prepare you a breakfast of your choice from the menu. I did not want to leave.

Мега уютное место. Останавливались на одну ночь. Это район Ирландии, где сплошные холмы, на которых пасутся коровки, овечки. В 20 минутах от ближайшего городка. Хозяин очень приветливый, номера свежие, чистые, все новенькое, повар заслуживает звезду мишлен. Ну очень вкусно на ужин. И показательно, что местные приезжают сюда просто поужинать и выпить пива!!! Обязательно попробуйте утку и сибас. бар очень стильно оформлен, хочется быть там и не уходить. На завтрак хозяин вам лично приготовит завтрак по выбору из меню. Не хотелось уезжать.
