J.We couldn't recommend Hotel Minella more highly. All staff and management were exceptional. The food was excellent quality with great variety and really delicious. The setting inside and out is stunning and the facilities are excellent. The room was very spacious, quiet and over looking the beautiful gardens. The leisure centre, pool and hot tub are just wonderful. It's a gem of a hotel and a wonderful escape. We had an incredible time and could not speak more highly of the hotel and all the staff. Thank you to all we will definitely be back.
G. H.Lovely hotel. A little mix of modern and old styles but very clean and comfortable. Bedroom a great size, very comfortable bed. Check if shower is in bath in case you have issues stepping into the bathtub. Food was excellent, very fresh and tasty. Staff were very welcoming and helpful

d. f.Came across this gem by fluke!! Had my concerns as I never heard of it. I didn't have to worry. From the moment the four of us walked through the doors we were treated like the most important people in the world. The lady Yvonne on the reception desk was brilliant. Went out of her way to help. The rooms are fab and the food was excellent. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

M. D.Beautifully spotless clean bedroom. Beds very comfortable - sletp like a log. Big plus extremely quiet wing despite a wedding happening in a different wing. But alot required up- skilling & up dating. Reception was bordering on sulky. No warmth or customer service feel good factor. No even "did you enjoy your stay" when paying. Food - well 3 courses were served like high speed Frisbees. Time to digest between courses didn't exist. Food presentation & choice a bit out dated. ie a dessert trolly = quaint !! brought back memories of being a child. My friend had requested a bottle of bubbly to be in my room upon my arrival, it was late. Sitting room / lounge could have done with a bit more heat. With better focus on the small but important customer service/friendly details, this hotel would definitely improve its overall standard.

S. H.From the minute we entered the premises we found that nothing was too much trouble for the management and staff. Extremely welcoming, efficient and a beautiful premises and fabulous grounds on the River Suir. Food was fabulous ,our favourite was the lamb chops which just melted off the bone ,but in reality all the food was top notch. Will definitely visit again.

The hotel is lovely and the staff were fantastic, we got to enjoy Paddy Casey and his charming daughter entertain us in the large garden followed by some complementary food, nice touch. The grounds are fantastic and we would definitely stay there again. The location is great for the town center and for a nice walk along the river to walk off all your excesses, best wishes and congratulations to all the staff for a great break, enjoy

Breakfast delicious with a great choice . All so well adhered to Covid training we had a lovely swim . My husband was in his element we met John last night and he invited him to see the yard and horses for him it was like winning the lotto . John is a very down to earth sensible man who obviously adores his family . I had a great chat with him . We will certainly be back and couldn’t recommend it enough . I encourage you all to support what we have at home it is unmatched anywhere else in other countries

Great base to do Blue Way activities, we did the cycle to Carrick-on-Suir which was really beautiful. Plenty to see and do in the surrounds, even when the weather isn't great. Highly recommended.
A. K.We had a family gathering for my mothers birthday. When booking I requested a safe place as my mother was elderly. We were given a room to ourselves with excellent service. It was like being at home but we didnt have to cook or clean up. The food was lovely and my mother got a complimentary box of chocolates from liz which made her day. It was a lovely touch. Katie was very helpful and came and spoke with us as well over all we were delighted with our evening in minella. The children had plenty of room to play would recommend a visit.

F. C.I stayed here for a friend's wedding. It's a lovely place, lovely grounds and great ambiance. The staff were polite, courteous and efficient. The room was spacious and spotless. I arrived very very late (in the middle of the night). It was not a problem. The night porter was very pleasant and opened the door as I was approaching it and carried the bag to the room. The wedding meal was lovely. It was probably the best I've experienced. A lot of young staff who are well trained and who are attentive and helpful to customers. I would have no hesitation in recommendind Hotel Minella.

M. N.Beautiful hotel in a great location along the river. Huge rooms. Great food. Excellent scenery. Great gym and pool facilities. Only draw back is that my room didn't have any AC so it got pretty stale at night.
N.It was our 3rd time there and again it was a wonderful experience. We were there for a communion party and dinner again was 5* quality. The staff can't do enough for everyone and it was very busy. So much food and seconds if are able for it. Deserts alone are worth going there just to eat. The baileys cheesecake is always the highlight for me. Would easily give more stars if I could !!!

K. F.Roast dinner on a Sunday was awful. Very tough beef. There was no person able to make decision on the bill. I was told I would have to come back to see a manager! No one else "allowed' to reduce bills apparently.

t.Clearly the best hotel within 40 miles. We never hear rumblings from family or friends when we book them into Minella BUT the same friends think less of us when we arrange B&Bs instead. Minella's staff cares about keeping kids happy and that concern goes a long way to making our accommodation perfect.
