V. T.A beautiful walk to the beach which is equally spectacular.
The board walk itself is a good length but we'll worth the effort, the views and the length of a wonderful golden sandy beach. The Hooked restaurant at the board walk is definitely worth a visit, top class food all at a reasonable price. Play area for the little ones, very clean and another plus.

T. A.Stunning setting with views across the sandy bay from the dining patio. It was a beautiful sunny day when we visited. I had the fish tacos which were lovely.We were meeting friends for lunch I'd advise booking ahead as the restaurant was very busy. It was a Friday in August!
The boardwalk is lovely way to start or end your meal and takes you to a spectacular horseshoe beach and you can walk for miles.
T. D.Found this place just passing it on road, turned and went back to have a look. We were pleased to find a boardwalk that leads down to a fabulous sandy beach. There is lots of parking there in front of bar and restaurant which we didn't go into. The walk to beach along the boardwalk is really nice and its wide enough to pass others comfortably. It was a good find and well worth a visit.

S. C.Just popped in for a wee treat after our walk on the boardwalk earlier, nice, well run restaurant and bar with wonderful vistas over the beach. Excellent value lunch specials wee had chowder with wheaten bread , lovely and creamy full of flavour and lots of fish in it . Also had pancakes, large fluffy full of juicy blueberries, with maple sauce and cream, delicious. Service fast and friendly. Toilets spotless.Good coffee too. We will be back.
S. B.A must visit location. The board walk across the sand dunes brings you out onto a very specail beach. The ability to walk for miles on unspoilt beaches is brilliant.
Lunch afterwards in the restaurant is the perfect way to finish the day. The food is top notch and very well priced. The venue is lovely and bright looking out onto the bay. I found the staff really good. Friendly and could not do enough to make sure the experience went well.

M. M. T.This is a beautiful peaceful place to go for a walk either alone, with a partner or with your family. It is completely flat and wheelchair and pushchair friendly. Some kids ride their bikes on it. A fantastic way to spend an hour!

L. H.Apparently under new ownership. We sat outside with the two dogs. Beautiful view of the sand and sea bay with backdrop of mountains. Can get a chilly wind due to sea and mountains but we'll worth putting on a cardigan or light coat.
The boardwalk is accessible with ease for wheelchairs, pushchairs and mobility scooters. We'll structured boardwalk that provides a nice walk that ends going right down to the sandy beach. Dogs allowed on beach.
There is a safe children's play and easy free parking.

There's nothing wrong with the food but if this cafe was in another location I wouldn't bother with it!
I had lasagne garlic bread and baked potatoes and it just all tasted microwaved.
They do serve EXCELLENT "The hatter" coffee and their staff are very friendly esp to children.
I just think with their stunning location if the food were better they'd be way more successful
