I have been using Shannon Dry Cleaners in Athlone for years and have always had positive experiences. Just prior to Christmas I had dropped in a dress for cleaning which I had planned to wear on New Years Eve. When I attempted to collect the dress between Christmas and New Years I noticed that they appeared to be closed. I contacted them via Facebook and they confirmed that they had taken a decision to close for the week however, they indicated that if I needed to collect an item urgently, they would do their best to facilitate. Within minutes they had arranged for somebody to meet me the following morning to collect the dress. I was extremely impressed with their efficiency in dealing with the matter, their responsiveness to messages and the excellent level of customer service which went above and beyond in the circumstances, and which was very much appreciated!
