I've been a long time member of the library. There are often different exhibitions in the library in the foyer. Currently there is an exhibition by Orla Egan of important Cork people in the LGBT community. Loved it and thanks for allowing this history to be seen and viewed by all

Fine little library. Kind, helpful staff. Decent selection. Great music compilations and kids section.

Great to have the libraries back. Chap on security very friendly. Hand sanitizer well positioned. Love the fact that you can pick up and drop off books at any library. Email reminder for book collection also really good. Would have given five stars but the librarian who assisted carried out the entire transaction without one single syllable spoken and no eye contact whatsoever. When I mentioned this the reaction was stony faced silence. I understand everyone has bad days but you're a front line service. The sun is shining, make a little effort. Maybe I missed something.

Found staff to be extremely helpful, especially a lady named Ann, who went above and beyond to help me find a music book a few months ago, and had it sent to the Wilton Library for collection. Much appreciated.

Still not able to use the print, scan, and internet services - for that sort of thing ye need to visit one of the internet cafes that somehow manage to provide those services (for borderline criminal fees tho - but what other options are there at this time...).

the music section is awesome! the cds there have gotten me into so many different genres. the staff there are nice except for 1 or 2 in the kids section, but i haven't been there in ages. the building looks awful, not gonna lie, but the inside has a great vibe to it. wish the council would invest more into renovating and supporting it though.

They have great service here and the staff are wonderful but the building is very old and cranky. It needs some renovations

I came to Ireland to find out more about my family history. I was having a hard time finding anything on my own. I went to this library and was sent to the third floor. There, a very kind girl assisted me in finding as much info as we could. I ended up finding a bunch of info that I had never seen before, and the even printed it out for me. I now have a better point of reference going forward. Could not have done it without their assistance. Thank you so much!!!!

I absolutely love this library

Charming library with separate sections for general reading, children and teens, music, as well as reference. The children and teens section in particular is a cosy little nook. Recommendations of books of different genres, including less prominent ones, are featured. There are not many places to sit and read, but doesn't detract from the overall experience. I had to print something and was greatly delighted that there were computers and printers available, with printing from mobile devices possible. It was easy to use the mobile printing service and I received the print outs with no hassle.

This library is recently renovated and offers free membership as I saw their email newsletter. Good place for student to print out homeworks as they offers free 10 minutes computer with Internet access, to print black and white is 10 cents each page. If you are travelling also handy to print E-ticket, it is in the grand parade and easy to find.

I was looking for an article i spotted online from an old edition of Evening Echo Newspaper from 1990 and contacted the library over the phone to see if they could help me out. The staff were extremely helpful and within 3-4 minutes they were able to locate it and tell me how i could get access to it. I traveled down the following week and got everything i needed. A truly invaluable service. Thanks Cork Library and especially to your helpful & knowledgeable staff.

Not many place to read. Books seem old. But they also offer movie, music, audio book. I am surprised to see The Big Bang Theory in their collection.

The building badly needs investment, great location and staff, but showing age badly. Areas of scaffold internally to support celing plaster. Cork City Council need to invest.

It is a ok library I guess. If you just need a book, fine, but not a place where you want to stay and read.
