Simply the best family owned and run wine and spirit merchants. Fantastic choice for the connoisseur and knowledgeable staff to help those like myself in need of some direction. Ordered from here for the first time yesterday afternoon, and my beers just arrived! Living out in the middle of Meath, I'm amazed (partly because Fastway is the courier, so definitely wasn't expecting it so soon). Packaging was super safe and all recyclable too. If I could give them more stars I would, fantastic establishment with a fantastic selection - the staff as well were incredible! All this aside, it’s located directly on the coast in Dublin and the views and scenery are great. If you are a whiskey or wine enthusiast, Mitchell & Son is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Easily is the best wine store in Dublin that I have come across. It is a wine enthusiast's haven... This place has a wonderful selection of wines and the staff are always happy to help. I have discovered a number of delicious new wines. I love this store! Many a Saturday afternoons I have wandered into Mitchell and Son Wine Merchants with no of what I want, but leave with my new favourite wine. The problem is that this happens once a week and that means I have a different favourite wine every week! Their wine tastings are exceptionally good too would highly recommend them, they also do wine tours to different vineyards and regions abroad. The staff are thoroughly knowledgeable and always more than willing to help. There's always a supurb selection to choose from too. There is also a fab heated terrace where you can sip on delicious Cuban Coffee. Highly Recommend a visit!

A great selection of wine in a lovely shop with knowlegable staff. Whether you know your wine or not they will help you find what you need. They also offer wine tastings and it is possible to buy something to drink and sit outside to enjoy it.

This is the oldest wine merchant in the country, having been established in Grafton Street in the 1870's and moving to Glasthule in the 1900's. A well appointed stock of good wines with friendly comprehensive knowledge by staff members. Well worth a browse, always a bin of good special offers available

Probably amazing for wine, but that’s not my cup of tea. They’ve got a really good gin selection too. While they only have one fridge for craft beer, their selection might make them the best place for that in Dún Laoghaire. Stone and Lervig, can’t go wrong with that. Should add another fridge though! :)

Great lil gem to sit outside and enjoy a glass of wine or a great coffee and watch Glasthule go about it's business. Staff are really nice, friendly and knowledgeable of their product (wine!!). Well worth a gander if new to the area.
