On the way to Duncannon opposite grest restaurant wihe the best fish and chips ever its small ruins of the church. Small part of history. Nothing really special but good to stop for the minute to see a place.

Nice Lovely old ruins / shell of a Lovely old Church and Grave yard
In a lovely beautiful location and setting.
Pity about the Very clear evident and distinct signs of people sleeping rough inside and against the walls inside this lovely old church and the clear, distinct signs of Anthy Social Behaviour and there camp fires which have blacked and burt the inside wall of this lovely old church😟 😔

We were not expecting to stop here but couldn't resist. It is a lovely spot with views and history. We were pleased to see also the newer grave stones marking those lost at sea during the war. Thanks to the royal British legion and private and public support and finance.

It's beautiful, the surrounding area is stunning, the graveyard is old and fascinating with newer graves among the ancient ones including WW1 sailor graves and a dedication to the lives of a uboat crew that were lost laying mines during the Great War. All that said, there is a strange vibe in the air, something dark happened here. Very much worth checking it out on your way to Hook Lighthouse.

We just stumbled upon this on the way to Hook lighthouse and my wife decided to move in! I literally had to drag her out of the place. It's right alongside the road. Did you just park get out and walk into it

Nice ruins that you climb through with an interesting story related to the Knights Templar.

Amazing place to visit.
There’s such an amazing atmosphere in there and in the surroundings!
Such a lovely and memorable place.
Months have passed and sometimes I randomly remember it because it’s such a good experience just to enter and see the inside and look the surroundings.
It’s such a cool place if you love ruins and exploring little places!

Sometimes honest aging is good. Interesting church appearing built on to a Norman tower house. Nice apparent templer stone to the front. It's free, take a look!

Impressive old structure.

Built by the Knights Templar and therefore something very special! A tombstone was once discovered in the cemetery next to the church, proving that a Knight Templar was buried here. We couldn't find out which one it was.
Unfortunately, the church is a bit dingy inside, the church tower is inhabited by animals…
