A little shop full of treasures... Top quality acoustics like Lowden or Mcilroy, and big surprise for an spanish guy like me: Prudencio Saez flamenco guitars, one of my favourites. Very nice owner too..!😊🎸

As a complete beginner buying a mandolin, Kieran went over and above the call of duty to ensure I was satisfied. Due to travel restrictions and not being able to visit the shop, he maintained regular correspondence with calls, emails and photos of updates on stock availability. He also gave good advice and the instrument chosen - which is an absolute beauty - was delivered very promptly. Very help, courteous and professional. Would highly recommend!!

As a classical guitar teacher Moloney's would always be my first choice when I'm asked where to buy a guitar in Galway. Kieran has top-quality instruments which he carefully sources and I've never been disappointed by the instruments my students return with. I have also bought a couple of instruments for myself from him and regularly buy strings and other bits there too. Aside from guitars (nylon/steel string) he also stocks a wonderful range of other instruments which tempt me every time I walk in. I couldn't recommend this shop highly enough.

Lovely shop and manager. Kevin Sykes restored my violin and did a great job on it. Later I was buying a new violin bow and the manager was so kind and helpful and allowed me to try many bows before I chose one. I would definitely recommend you give this shop a try.

Kieran was a joy to work with, and didn't have to think twice about getting a special-order bouzouki to me, in the USA. He was always prompt, clear and courteous in communicating, and got my bouzouki set up, well packed, and shipped across the Atlantic to me in perfect condition (even though it had a rough trip, judging by the outer packing layer). Kieran Moloney was a life saver for me and my wife when a month and a half trip to Ireland turned into a three month stay and I was without a guitar to keep my chops up for playing with my band back in Virginia. Kieran sold me a Lowden guitar and took a practice guitar in trade all over the internet and made sure the Lowden got delivered promptly to where we were hunkered down on the west coast of Ireland. He was terrific in following through and responding. I recommend him and Moloney Music unreservedly! Keep local music stores alive.

I was in the market for an Eastman guitar; my online search lead me to Irelands only dealership for these high quality instruments; namely Moloney music in Galway. I spoke on the phone with Kieran Moloney and I felt more than happy to order. long story short...I received a beautiful Eastman guitar which had, due to what could only be described as a freak accident, sustained a bit of minor damage in transit despite being adequately packaged. Kieran was extremely courteous and cooperative in sending me a replacement, which I am very happy with. Kieran is out of pocket on this transaction through no fault of his own and I regret that, but his priority was to the customer (me in this case) and service like this can only be highly recommended. I would have no hesitation in shopping again with Moloney music.
