B. M.I stayed here last night. The food was lovely at both breakfast and dinner. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Value for money was excellent. Apart from the housekeeping girl's talking loudly at length in the morning outside our room our stay was very enjoyable.
J. O. B.Friendly staff, could do with putting the heating on. Had 2 coffees there and kept my jacket on cause I could feel the chill. Ok, so I had a response to this review which I had posted previously, explaining why it was a little chilly, in keeping with Covid guidelines, so I'd like to add to my review, I've eaten here many times in the past and couldn't fault it, and all of our party on our latest visit were checked for Covid certs, it was a very safe environment in these unsettling times, so well done. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely love the Rhu Glenn. A really relaxing atmosphere. This is the 2nd year my family & I have stayed here. The food is beautiful. Breakfast, lunch & dinner top notch, the menu has something for everyone.
The staff are second to none, very helpful, accommodating & take time to ask how your day was etc etc.
A special thanks to John, Lauren, Damien & Lizzie, for everything. They all went out of their way to do what they could for us & for their service.
Can't wait to go back for the 3rd time.

G. F.Absolutely great carvery dinner. Watched the Dublin Mayo game there. There was a waiter there cant remember his name but hes at his job a long time and knows it inside out, hes legendary. Nothing was too much trouble, we will for sure be back again based solely on all he did for us. Absolute legend. Their lucky to have him as an employee.
S. S.I booked it for 3 nights and I ended up extending another night. Why? The hotel is cozy, the staff is absolutely brilliant, very welcoming and easy going. I can't thank them enough for making this short break so good. I'm 1000% coming back!

F. O. H.Stayed with my 3 children just for 1 night. Have to say before we got to bedroom, man at reception 🤔🤔 maybe owner?? Was extremely welcoming, directed us to our room lovely family room, tea coffee, tv, everything clean and nothing amiss. Had a drink in lobby area and staff member very friendly and no problem..... just had breakfast and it was lovely and plenty of toast, juices etc. Homely spot if passing through, very close to waterford and New Ross. Would definitely go again. And would recommend to my friends. If the country music scene gets back there, it is a fab spot for social dancing and a geat atmosphere.

S. M.First of all, MASSIVE compliments to the chefs. The food here is absolutely out of this world. Can’t recommend this place more for a bite to eat, if you happen to be passing this place you have to try it out. The rooms were clean aswell, but very basic. Ideal for just a place to rest your head at night while exploring Kilkenny and Waterford as this hotel is right on the border. Very accessible and very close to the greenway aswell! Again, can’t recommend the food here enough it was just amazing, the 4 of us are craving a return already😂 thanks to the lovely, accommodating staff!

P. M.A very welcoming cosy rural hotel. We only stopped for lunch and were greeted by friendly staff all wearing masks in a safely, spacious well organised saloon bar carvery. We had an enjoyable good value lunch with a nice hot pot of tea. The toilets were spotlessly clean and airy. We will stop by again on our next visit to the sunny south east of Ireland.

Food in my opinion has always been excellent and good value. The lady that served me on my last visit couldn't have been nicer or more helpful as the restaurant/bar always are.
My only complaint was that I usually call in the evening time while it's dark and the outside lighting is poor at the moment especially to the right of the hotel where the trucks usually park. 5* only for that.

We had a lovely carvery lunch and tea to follow. We used the bathrooms to freshing up and we were on our way again. The food was good and the restaurant was clean and tidy.

D. O.My wife and I just spent a couple of nights in the Rhu Glenn Hotel. Its not often that i have said about staying in a hotel on a break that from the moment i walked into the a hotel till I left i enjoyed every moment of it,but I can say that about the Rhu Glenn Hotel. The room was clean ,warm and cosy with a proper spacious bathroom. A large warm lounge in which to relax in. The food also in the bar was also hot ,tasty ,and edible. Last but not least were freindly staff in the hotel . Nothing was to much trouble for them if you asked them to help you with a problem.
I would go back again and recomend anyone to give it a try.

O.My stay at the Rhu was ruined on check -in, i arrived in happy spirits checking in with my husband we were greeted by ANN ,( the owner) aside from her uniform looking un - ironed and dirty, Ann did not lift her head up from the desk to smile and greet us , instead she barked who did you book with , followed by the name!! i told her my surname 3 times spelling it quite clearly two times, in the end my husband said it and she found the booking, she didn't tell us the time for breakfast or where we had to go,
i feel she could do with attending a customer care course ,as the hotel is lovely and clean and a perfect breakfast (cold room) but the whole thing could of been ruined by insulting your paying guests, stay away from the reception area

the only problem i had was i had room 4 and there was a huge amount of small fly's or midgets in the room like near a hundred, i left the light on in the bathroom so they all flew in there, but as we were on a stag it was strange as i got to see at least 5 other rooms and none had the same issue,
this did not dieter from my stay a wonderful hotel and i plan to stay soon again.

The furniture is worn (mattress, duvet cover). The room has a small tube TV with only English channels. The bathroom is equipped with sink, toilet and bath with integrated shower. Small mold stains are visible in the bathtub area. The room would be in need of renovation. There is no elevator. Wi-Fi is available. Power supply is only possible with Euro adapter. The food was ok, but certainly better. We used the Rhu Glenn hotel as part of a round trip for an overnight stay. It was okay for that.

In die Jahre gekommenes Landhotel. Die Lobby, Bar und Restaurant sind im englischen Stil eingerichtet. Das Zimmer im ersten OG war zweckmäßig eingerichtet und ruhig (straßenabgewandte Seite). Die Einrichtung ist verschlissen (Matratze, Bettbezug). Im Zimmer befindet sich ein kleiner Röhrenfernseher mit ausschließlich englischen Sendern. Das Bad ist mit Waschbecken, WC und Badewanne mit integrierter Dusche ausgestattet. Kleine Schimmelflecken sind im Bereich der Badewanne sichtbar. Das Zimmer wäre renovierungsbedürftig. Einen Aufzug gibt es nicht. WLAN steht zur Verfügung. Stromversorgung ist nur mit Euro-Adapter möglich. Das Essen war in Ordnung, geht aber sicher besser. Wir nutzten das Rhu Glenn-Hotel im Rahmen einer Rundreise für eine Übernachtung. Dafür war es okay.
